Hurry up don't miss the train! Board this steam engine to venture to Hogwarts castle. Get comfortable and have some snacks from the food trolley. It will be a long ride. Make sure you change into your school robes before you enter Hogsmeade Station for exposure reasons.

The Hogwarts dungeons are quite unpleasant, they are cold and dark. Potions lessons are held down here. Also the Potions store is found down here. The Slytherin common room is located down here as well. There is no avoiding the dungeons.

The Main Level

When you walk through the castle doors of Hogwarts you will on the ground floor. If you look to your left you will find the Great hall. Also the Grand staircase is located here so you will be able to access the the other levels of the castle. Transfiguration lessons as also on this floor. Along with the Staff room, where no students can enter.

First Floor

The first floor is mainly know for classes. Defense against the dark arts, Muggle studies, and history of magic class rooms are along this floor. There are also empty class rooms used to kill time.

Second Floor

The second floor was pretty beat up during the battle of Hogwarts years ago. After reconstruction, the house elf quarters is located here. Along with Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. We advise you to stay away from there, her cries are highly annoying.

Third Floor

Charms lessons are located here. This floor is constantly busy due to the fact it is the home of the hospital wing. Also the forbidden corridor can be found here. The trophy room and the armor gallery are here as well take a peek into the past.

Fourth Floor

The fourth floor is where you can find Ravenclaw students swarming in the Library. It is also the home of the new student lounge assessable to all students. There is an abandoned corridor that ghost roam freely. Easy scare? Stay away.

Fifth Floor

During the battle of Hogwarts a spell was miscast turning a whole a whole corridor into glass. It's quite the sight. The dueling club is held on this floor. Quidditch captains, Head boys or girls or Prefects can come enjoy the luxurious Prefect bathroom located on this floor.

Sixth Floor

Ancient Runes and Arithmancy lessons are held on this floor. There are also some empty rooms, you can use for dueling practice or alone time. This floor is very clean. The Headmaster's office is also located here.

Seventh Floor

The Towers

Home of the Owlery. The towers are built high overlooking the castles grounds. The Gryffindor & Ravenclaw towers are opposite from one another. Divination lessons take place up here. There is also a rather impressive Astronomy tower, for those lessons that are held at night.

Hogwart's Grounds

Here is the Hogwarts courtyard. The clock tower looks over the perimeter. Some come here for a moment of reflection or to catch up with your mates. The fountain is a nice place to gain self of mind.

This bridge connects the courtyard, the clock tower and the stone circle. It's a nice place to just observe during the harsher weather conditions.

The Stone Circle

This as it's name is a circle of large stones, with a gazebo and benches for the students. The circle is a sundial, which is used for time if the clock tower ever becomes out of sequence. This also connects the castle to the Ground Keeper's hut.

Come one come all to the Quidditch pitch where all games and practices are held, in order for a team to practice you must sign up for a reserve time otherwise if the field is empty have at it.

The Lake lies right at the edge of the dark forest its a nice place during early fall and late spring to spend time maybe take a swim and in the winter it freezes over and is nice to ice skate on.
