Davin is pretty easy to get along with although a lot of people don't like him because of his name and this is something he is trying to separate from. Currently he is training to be an Auror much to dismay of some family members but he doesn't believe in that blood supremacy ideology that his father grew up with and had tried to pass on and especially in these times he wants to help the 'good' side and try to be useful there instead. Friends would be drinking buddies or from school, even some childhood friends. At school he was in Ravenclaw much to the dismay of Slytherin family and siblings but he dealt with that and hoped that it would help distinguish him as his own person, enemies would be because of his name or his ministry affiliation especially working in Law Enforcement and all that. Lovers would be there, he isn't always the type to approach a girl and prefers to be friends first before anything though drinking does get you places as well. Family is very important, his siblings are extremely important and you can't mess with them without messing with him. His father he could care less. I'm open to ideas!

Emma & Caine
Well, we already decided they'd be friends, as he's only a couple years than her, and he'd be her study buddy <3 I think these two will have a good friendship.

Russo & Caine
Well, he's only a couple years younger than she is, so they'd have gone to school together at some point, maybe passed each other in the halls. And lets face it, he's pretty hot, so I can totally see Russo flirting with him occasionally. She hangs out in bars when she isnt working, mostly in the Hogs Head or in the Three Broomsticks - as she lives in the apartment above the TB, and her closest friend Ben Hayes works in the other - so maybe they'd have seen each other there. She's pretty friendly, I'd say they'd be friends, possibly flirting buddies and such. On the job, she's a journalist, so I imagine as Hit Wizard, she'd have to do an article or two on him occasionally. Maybe thats how they get to know each other?

AMELIA AND DAVIN
Well they were in the same House at Hogwarts but a few years apart so during Hogwarts they probably knew each other from seeing each other around the Common Room and such things but not too well. Though they might have ran in to each other more in the years after at the Ministry.

One idea I had for these, however, is that they both come from similar families. They could have met when their families met for some reason and maybe they could have been pushed together in hope that they will join the families and keep their blood pure.

Amelia doesn't do well when her father tries to set her up and she could spread her resentment of her father to Davin, even though he probably wouldn't have an interest in a semi-arranged marriage anyway. Or maybe they could bond over their dislike of their fathers and pressures of coming from a well-to-do and influential family. What do you think? Any ideas?

If she was in Gryffindor and not afraid of the fact that he is a Lestrange then they could be friends or have known each other at school at some point. He's completely unlike his father and mother and the typical blood-purists and wants to separate himself from that assumption of him. I'm sure he would have run into her at the bar after his training days in the Auror department, no doubt. I can see her trying to interview him because of his last name and him getting angry at it, otherwise i'm sure he would flirt right back as she is pretty, but he'd be wary of her journalist status.

Love it, so childhood friends because of the pure-blood families. I'm sure that their families had plans of forcing them together to keep the blood pure even if he had ended up in Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin and was constantly against his family in views, still got to keep the blood pure. They could bond over the hatred of arranged marriages and the hatred of their fathers and those pressures, he is desperate to distance himself from his family's namesake and their negative reputation. He accepts people not because of blood and doesn't care about blood status. I have this idea of them kind of falling for each other as they are bonding but one ends up with somebody else and feelings are hurt and etc etc. what do you think?

AMELIA AND DAVIN
Aw, this does sound good. So yeah, definite childhood friends. Amelia would have been so excited for Davin to join Hogwarts and would have been disappointed when he was sorted in to Ravenclaw. Not because he wasn't a Slytherin but because her friend wasn't in her house. But I'm sure they would have still spent time together. Then when they got older and hints started to be dropped about pairing, they probably bonded even more in disagreement.

In this case Davin would be one of the very few people that Amelia allowed to see her carefree almost child-like side underneath the mask her family built for her. It isn't often Amelia decides she can just relax and be herself around others.

I really, really like the idea of them falling for each other eventually. Internally, Amelia would be conflicted because it would feel like she was following her father's wishes. Then she would be devastated if he got with someone else, realising too late how much she cared for him, or she would try and date someone else to push the idea out of her head but he would keep returning and she wouldn't be as happy as she should be.

What do you think? Sorry for the ramble, haha. I was also thinking another thing. I was planning for Amelia to get kicked out of her family home. Maybe she could turn up and ask Aiden for help or a place to stay for a while? It would add drama if at that time they were secretly falling for each other then, or it had already got to the point where one of them had a significant other. What do you think?

Davin would be conflicted as well because he doesn't want to follow his family's wishes either and wants to create his own path. This will make him very hesitant to start anything.

He also has this huge, long-time crush on Victorie Weasley because they are the same age and year and house at Hogwarts, so I don't know what she would think about that.
