you're a troublemaker [kenneth/ash]

The cool breeze brushed gently across the sitting blonde as her eyes peered out across the lake. A book lay open on her lap from the reading she was doing only moments ago before her thoughts ripped her from the story and distracted her enough that she didn't return. It was only a few years ago that the bubbly blonde would have quickly ran to the water to swim, but because of an accident that happened, she was terrified to even go near it. If she wanted the view or peace the lake brought, she kept her distance, which was why she was seated underneath a tree a decent amount of feet away. She wasn't taking any chances of ending up in the water.

Leaning back against the tree, Elyza Greyback pulled the book from her lap and closed it before setting it on the ground beside her. She slowly pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them as she continued to stare out at the water. In all honesty, she terribly wished to shake off her fear of water, but she couldn't see it happening anytime soon. Every time she tried to go slightly closer to the water than normal, she had flashbacks of her accident and then freaked out. She had gone into full blown panic attacks over it before. It scared her, seeing as she almost died that day. She'd never forget the feeling of having her lungs fill up with water as it pushed all the air out. The feeling of not being able to breathe was one of the most terrifying things she had ever gone through, aside from transforming into a werewolf for the first time, but she had gotten over that. It was easier to accept who she was than it was to try to get into the water again.

Hearing a shuffle of feet, Lyza was pulled from her silent reverie, her eyes meeting the face of a familiar friend. "Kenny!" She beamed, a bright smile appearing on her once straight lips. Loosening her grip, she let her legs stretch back out as she leaned back on her hands, her head tilted back to look up at him. Kenny was a couple years older than herself, in a different house, and a vampire at that but Lyza adored him. Not to mention, he happened to be a resident troublemaker. He was fun though and she enjoyed her time with him, whenever she got the chance. It was never a dull moment with him.
