They say I look like, Ginny Gardner But I don't really see it- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - You don't know your beautiful: If you were to ask Amelia to describe herself, she would tell you that as you can see she’s quite plain. At about 5.4” tall, she’s average bordering on small in height, and at 120lbs she’s never been particularly shapely. In fact, for years she would have been described as being lanky. Her appearance is definitely taken more from her mother than from her father. Her round face is most certainly a Longbottom trait, but her blonde hair and slight figure are strictly Abbott. From both of her parents she inherited the unfortunate pale skin, which shows a blush far easier than she would like. When Amy used to try to play sports, her face would turn bright red even if she wasn’t working that hard. Her skin blotches easily if she cries, and it often has a pinkish tint to it.
What make me unique; Neville Longbottom was shy sort of kid with a good heart. Amelia Longbottom is much like her father was. People tend to forget she exists, honestly, because she’s soft spoken and far from opinionated. In a few words, Amy is clumsy, forgetful, shy and timid. Her magical ability is nothing to brag about and she falls short of average in most of her classes. This is tricky when her sister is a brave, noble Gryffindor with a plethora of friends, and Amy can hardly be imposed upon to speak to anyone new without stuttering. Then on top of it all, her father is one of the most famed Wizards of the 20th century. All this in mind, the name Longbottom gives her a lot to live up to. So far, she feels like she’s never managed to live up to it at all. For obvious reasons, this has taken a toll on her self esteem. It’s probably because of low self-esteem that she does so poorly in her classes, because outside of classes, her wandwork is just as good as anyone’s. Tests make her nervous, and other people watching makes her nervous.
For Amy to need to borrow a quill or some parchment during class is far from uncommon. She often forgets her things and is a tad absent-minded. So much so that she’s left her dorm room and gone to classes in her slippers. Twice. Her tie is almost never on, and she tends to forget which classes she needs to go to on a regular basis. Pair this with the fact that she drops the contents of her bookbag in the hallway at least twice a week and she trips over her own feet approximately three times a day, she seems like an absolute mess all the time.
But despite being a timid sort of creature, she’s got a heart of gold. Above all else, her family and her friends mean the world to her and she treats them like gold. Like the common Hufflepuff, she’s loyal to the core and she would do anything for the people who matter to her.
Surprisingly for most people, she’s a very emotional person who, if you get close enough to herself, expresses her feelings very thoroughly. Amy is the sort of person who bawled during Marley and Me, and then proceeds to cry every time she thinks about it. When she gets angry, she explains it in her quiet kind of way, but is still angry none the less. Because of her sweet demeanor, most people tend to be surprised by what a wide range of emotion she shows. Likes;- Hot chocolate

Living the teenage dream,
Neville Longbottom is one of the most famed wizards of the 20th century. He, along with Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley led the charge against Lord Voldemort, the darkest wizard of all time. This story, however, is not about a hero, but about the underachieving mouse of a daughter he bore. Amelia Alice Longbottom was born to Neville and his wife Hannah on July 3rd 2005. She was a small baby, but she was a twin, so that was to be expected. Their stay in the hospital was short and soon they were brought to their home: the Leaky Cauldron. Don’t get me wrong, there are worse places to grow up. The family of five had two suites above the tavern where they lived, and honestly, it was spacious enough for them, especially since the kids spent most of their time in the tavern or in the adjacent Diagon Alley. This meant that from the time they were very little, they were told to interact with all of the people in the inn. For some this would have been nice, but even early on, Amelia was painfully shy. She used to lock herself in her room upstairs to avoid having to talk to someone she didn’t know.
It was the worst when she was about nine years old. All she wanted to do was stay upstairs with a muggle-written novel and hide away from the stranger danger lurking downstairs. When she was very little, she would interact with people working as Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor because they gave her and her siblings free ice cream on a regular basis. That is enough to win over the heart of any five year old.
Anyway, life was totally immersed in the magical community from a young age, so it was a relief when Amy got her letter. Honestly, there had been some concern that she wouldn’t because unlike her sister, Amelia exhibited very little magical prowess when she was younger. Her not being a squib was a relief to her mother who had had some serious concerns. Neville and his daughter bonded a lot because she reminded him a lot of himself in the less documented and less public time of his life.
Anyway, arriving at Hogwarts, it seemed like everyone she knew from her childhood, little the Potters, Weasleys and Finnigans were sorted into the wrong houses. In Hufflepuff, she knew no one at all. Life goes on though, and she made some friends out of necessity. After Harry Potter’s death in her fifth year, her father resigned as Herbology professor to return to auror work because he feared the worst. Amy fears the worst but feels she’s too small to do anything about it.
