A stranger at the school, Yoon Suk is fresh off the magical boat from Japan. She's posing as a South Korean transfer student due to trouble she was involved with because of her Seer ability. At first glance she's a fairly meek young girl who seems somewhat oblivious when it comes to most things. She seems to be the type to fade into the background rather easily, and her test scores are surely the lowest in her dorm. In fact, given her horrid test scores and seemingly weak nature, most don't know why she's in Ravenclaw rather than Hufflepuff. Even on the Quidditch field she seems to rarely shine. To add to this oddity, she arrived as a fourth year in the middle of the year as a transfer student from an Asian Wizarding school. Her English is rather poor, and this seems to reflect on her school work, leaving her struggling to get ahead. Yoon Suk is often the subject of bullying from most other students, even some in her own dorm. Friends Yoon Suk seems to be exceptionally shy, hiding from most people in the library or outside on the school grounds. While she is on the Quidditch team, she rarely talks to her team members. Her poor English skills often lead to her accidentally alienating fellow students. Due to events at her old school, Yoon Suk seems very paranoid and untrusting of other students and people in general. The fact that she seems to be the target of bullies in the school only adds to her paranoia. The reason she's a target is due to her lack of skill in saying 'No' to things, making her a prime target for carrying book bags and doing chores. If you find yourself alone with her, you might find that Yoon Suk is in fact an emotional and nervous young girl who is having trouble adjusting for various reasons and simply wants everyone to like her. In fact, she even considers some of her bullies friends. Enemies Because of her oddness, Yoon Suk is often the subject of bullying. To add to this, she's a muggle born, and she barely knows any English. The more mean spirited kids might think this enough to bully her. However, Yoon Suk rarely thinks of people as enemies. She likes to try and at least look for the good in people. In order to be considered an enemy by her, one would have to severely harm or another. Lovers Yoon Suk is... rather difficult to romance for various reasons, so good luck. Secrets Yoon Suk's biggest secret is that she's secretly a he using a specialized wand and emergency polyjuice potion to disguise himself as a girl. The reason these extremes were taken is due to her being the target of an Asian Dark Wizarding Circuit. She became a target after her Seer ability made her a prized kidnapping target for the Dark Wizards to amass a fortune with. This was doubled after she ended up sending one of their leaders to prison. Possible Plots These are just little plots that might be fun. Feel free to suggest anything else you'd like to do~ The Babysitter Due to the nature of her transferring, it's possible that Yoon Suk may have been assigned to an older or similarly aged student to be watched over. In fact, I'm fairly certain that her original school would have insisted on her being watched over. As far as they are concerned, they're loaning their Seer to Hogwarts until it is safe to return back to Japan. The person for this should be older, but being the same age might be fun. They could be a member of a Quidditch team or a house head, just someone the school feels they can trust. This person may know part of the truth or the whole truth. The Tutor A fairly simple plot, Yoon Suk is horrible with English, so she gets a classmate or dorm mate to tutor her. The Snoop A character finds out about her secret through various means, fun stuff follows. The Big Brother/Sister An older character gets to know Yoon Suk, and they start to form a sibling like relationship. This would be especially interesting because Yoon Suk has a younger sister around the age of four that he's never met due to constantly being away at school.

GRYPHON ;; YOON Basically, I don't have an exact idea yet, but we need to plot - bad. Gryphon is also born and raised in Japan, though he moved to England just before starting at Hogwarts. I know he's a bit older and from a different house, but maybe he could even fill the sort of 'babysitter' role for her, like a 'peace buddy.' He speaks Japanese clearly, but he could maybe only speak English around her to help her improve while still being another person that understands the differences between Japanese and British culture. Plus he is a Prefect, so even though he can be a pretty terrible, manipulative, selfish, flirty person - it's still something he could have been assigned to do. Though Yoon is also very pretty, so he could just have easily have decided to do it himself and taken it upon himself to do so - that might be more interesting, especially if he ever found out her secret.

Yoon Suk & GryphonOoh if he's Japanese and a perfect, then Gryphon would definitely be a top choice to watch over her- especially if his parents were purebloods who attended the Japanese school themselves. He'd basically be a very convenient young man. I'm sure the school would have spoken to his parents about having him watch Yoon Suk. I think it might be fun since their personalities pretty much clash. While he's pretty terrible, manipulative, selfish and somewhat flirty, Yoon Suk's kind, gullible, eager to help to the point of being bullied and kind of awkward. I can definitely see their personalities clashing in fantastic ways. This could definitely be a fun duo. As for her secret, he could have been told about her being a Seer sent to Hogwarts for protection, but not much else?

GRYPHON ;; YOON Okay this is such a good plot I am really excited. Yeah, Gryphon's Pureblood, and while his parents wanted him to go to Hogwarts specifically, they definitely went to school in Japan, so there would be a definite connection there. And I think him knowing nothing more than her being a Seer would be the most fun to plot out and we'll see if anything else just comes up. Their clashing personalities will definitely make for some fun threads too! If you want, I can make a thread tonight when I get home from work hopefully or sometime this weekend at the latest, but if you make one between now and then that's definitely cool too because I don't write very good starting posts. So just let me know, but yes, this is a great plan. I am really looking forward to this.
