Every time Gryphon felt Jasmine's tongue brush over his lips he felt like a new wave of fire was washing over his body from the inside out, and his grip on her hip only tightened more and more as he was more than happy to open his mouth to her and run his tongue over hers, battling for dominance in the situation. There were very few circumstances in which Gryphon allowed himself to play a submissive role, and this was definitely not one of them, and he was letting her know that he was going to fight her the whole time to be in control if she didn't let him. Once more though they had to part for air, but no words were exchanged this time as Gryphon pulled in a few quick, panting breaths before she was kissing him again, initiating herself for the first time - and he did like that.
Jasmine somehow was able to move herself away from the column behind her a bit, but only to move even closer somehow to Gryphon so he didn't object. Instead he slid his hand around to the small of her back, pressing roughly there to hold her hips against his as he began to run his other hand through her hair a bit, feeling how soft it felt between his fingers even with his rough handling. And then she was licking his lips again and he could feel himself starting to not be able to think clearly at all even if he had wanted to. All he could think about was her, and this moment, and how perfect her body felt next to his and how delicious her kiss tasted and how all he really wanted was more. He was falling into the deep end fast with her but he didn't even care.
How long had he wanted this? Of course he wanted to kiss most of the people he found attractive, but this was different. This was intense. This felt like at least a few years worth of tension suddenly being poured out, and he felt like he was getting it served right back to him in return. Did that mean that she had wanted this too and he hadn't just convinced her with that first kiss? Had she been hiding this from him all this time? Maybe this was another thing about Jasmine that he had managed to bring to the surface somehow or another, and he was certainly glad that he did, because everything about this just felt so good.
When the two had to part once more for air, Gryphon dropped his head down to rest his forehead on her shoulder for a moment as he greedily gasped in a few desperate breaths of air, closing his eyes and focusing fully on the feel of her curves against his body and the smoothness of her hair and the intoxicating scent of her skin and the general overall feeling of closeness that he had with her in that moment. After catching his breath a bit, he buried his face against her neck, breathing deeply before placing a few progressively more intense kisses against her skin there, wondering vaguely if she would stop him but assuming that she probably wouldn't object too much...
And then she had brought up class. Gryphon groaned against the skin of her neck then; he had completely forgotten that they were meant to just be on an hour's break. "Chikusho..." he muttered, cursing, his voice sounding a bit hoarse as he rubbed the spot on her back where his hand rested. After a few moments he finally said, "I'm a Prefect so I probably shouldn't skip class for snogging a girl, even if it's a really, really amazing snog." However, he didn't move away from his current position, still holding her as close to him as physically possible, and when he had finished speaking he just went back to planting a line of open-mouthed kisses on her neck and trailing up along her jawline.

You stupid, stupid girl! This could have been happening a long time ago! He might have even become someone important to you. Why do you have to be so damn cold? You pushed him away for so long that it’s a miracle he took you now! Oh and how glad she was that he let her in. Every inch of her skin tingled at his touch. The fact that she had substituted the pressure of the column for the pressure of his arms around her didn’t bother her one bit. She was lost in the feel of their bodies together before she realized just how far Gryphon was taking this. Does he know he’s doing this? Jasmine hoped he was aware of just how this was affecting her and she hoped him as well. In the back of her mind she saw him pulling away and shaking her hand as he left as if this was just another thing he did every day. Not wanting to ruin the way she felt, Jasmine ignored her ill thoughts and just went with it.
As he ran his fingers through her hair, Jasmine let a little moan escape her lips. No one had ever palyed with her hair like that before, in fact at first she didn’t know if she liked it or not. It took her a few moments to realize that in fact she didn’t just like the feel of his hand in her hair, she loved it. Her head had been the only part of her that didn’t tingle, and now that was changed. She felt as if she were buzzing and in fact maybe she was. Jasmine lost all track of time and space. They could have been in the middle of the Great Hall and she wouldn’t have cared. All that mattered was how much she was enjoying this. She knew that a real kiss would be one that she would never forget, but this! Merlin, she was sure everyone in the castle could feel it. She was surprised that no one had been drawn to their location by the heat and passion, but they were still alone. Thank Merlin we’re alone, she thought with another moan against his lips.
When they had to part again, Jasmine didn’t want to. The other times before were nothing compared to this. She was hungry for more in a way she had never been before. She wanted more of his lips, his body, his well… everything. Jasmine knew she would never be able to look at him the same way. He was hers now and no one would ever be able to touch him like this again; at least that’s how it was going to be in her mind. If Gryphon showed any sign that he wanted less of her than she would oblige, he would never know just how bad she wanted to be with him. Gryphon was a part of her life now, much more than she had ever let him be before and she was the happiest she had ever been.
The feel of his breath on her skin sent chills down her spine. She closed her eyes and leaned against the column with his arms still around her. A soft man escaped her lips as his breath washed across the skin of her neck. Oh how she wanted this. She began to squirm ever so slightly as his breath continued to hit her. Just when she thought she could take no more, his lips pressed against her neck sending fire shooting through her whole body. She moaned loudly and dug her hails into the skin on the back of his neck as the other grabbed at his hair. Oh Merlin! She thought wildly as she gasped. Her thoughts were so disoriented that she lost track of where they were or where they were supposed to be. Then Gryphon was speaking, telling her he was a prefect and shouldn’t skip class.
“No!” Jasmine gasped, pulling at him, trying to keep him close. She lost her composure and looked almost frantic for a second before she composed herself again. “I can’t go to class like this.” She admitted, her voice hardly more than a whisper. She felt her body trembling against his. “We could always fake sick,” she smirked “go somewhere… more private...,” even as she said it she couldn’t think of anywhere they could go, but she had to go somewhere… anywhere! What am I doing? This whole thing was not like her, but she was having too much fun to turn back now. Jasmine had never suggested breaking the rules before now and she hoped more than anything that he would take the bait.
This was not like her at all. How had she gone from this cold shut off person to this... what ever she was now? I like it. She told herself as Gryphon began to kiss her again. If he wants to leave he better stop... Otherwise I wont let him. With a smirk she decided to say just that. "You know, if you keep that up," her voice was soft and breathless, "you wont be getting out of here." Her heart was racing wildly in her chest and with Gryphon's lips on her neck, she knew he could feel it.

She was full on moaning now, and the feeling of her grip tightly on the back of his neck let Gryphon know that he had made the right choice in changing his assault from her lips to her neck. This was only made even clearer when he admitted they should go to class and she clung to him, holding him in place, and her first reaction had been a negative outburst towards his suggestion of leaving. Though she seemed to regain her composure quickly, her initial 'no' still hung in Gryphon's memory and he smiled against her skin at it. She was the one who had brought up class in the first place, but now she didn't want to go. Maybe she had been expecting him to disagree? In reality, of course, he didn't want to go at all, but he knew that he should...
....but Gryphon had never really been much for doing what he should do necessarily. He usually just did what he wanted to. And right now, he wanted to do Jasmine, frankly. Especially with her objecting that they stop and clearly wanting more as well....more was certainly what Gryphon wanted. He wanted everything - usual for him, but with her, it was an even stronger desire than ever. Something about her was still making every one of his extremities tingle, and he was keenly aware of everything at once while at the same time he felt like he was in a blur. People didn't affect him like this; snogging never affected him like this. And yet here it was happening, Gryphon almost wanting to listen to anything that Jasmine might suggest whether he wanted to or not, and he wasn't objecting. No way, this felt far too good to object.
Gryphon laughed lightly against her skin when Jasmine said she couldn't go to class in her current state - while there were reasons that he couldn't either, at least not comfortably, he preferred to focus on her as he glanced up at her tussled hair and swollen lips and flushed cheeks. "Yeah, people will definitely know what you've been up to," he teased her before nipping at the soft skin of her neck. "I could make it even more obvious, you know," he then said before nipping once more a bit more playfully before kissing that same spot again.
And then she was suggesting finding somewhere more private to go, and Gryphon closed his eyes, holding her tightly in his arms as he pulled lightly at her hair. He could feel her body shaking in his grip, and he only held her tighter. Was she really suggesting what he thought she was? Merlin he hoped so; this all felt like a dream that he would have to wake up from soon, but he wasn't about to let it slip through his fingers just yet. "I'm sure we could find somewhere to go," he then said, his voice low as he shifted his other hand to run slowly up and down her side, feeling out her curves there rather unashamedly. "This castle is big enough that's it's always possible to find some privacy somewhere...."
When he returned to his ministrations on her neck, he could feel that her heart rate had gone up through the pulse in her skin, and he smiled against her flesh once more - his own heart was slamming in his chest, but it was added satisfaction to know he was doing this to her. To Jasmine Pucey, the unobtainable, cold, yet absolutely stunning young woman he had only ever imagined in a situation like this - and yet here she was, moaning for him and shaking in his arms and affecting him in increasingly obvious, and less than obvious, ways. "I don't really want to go anywhere without you right now," he then replied to her, trailing up to kiss and nip at her ear a bit before whispering in it, "You promised me I'd be begging for mercy, remember? And since that hasn't happened yet, you're just going to have to keep trying."
With one last kiss on her ear, Gryphon pulled away from her slightly, inspecting the young woman before him with an intense stare as he drank in the fantastic sight before him before he kissed her on the lips again. When he pulled away, it was only a breath away from her this time. "Maybe relocating would be a good idea though," he barely breathed, meeting her gaze with eyes clouded with passion.

“I don’t know what you’re doing to me, but I don’t want it to stop.” She smiled as he laughed against the skin of her neck. Every breath sent goose bumps rising on her skin. She bit her lip and let out a soft giggle, not able to understand why she’d never done this sort of thing before. But you have. She corrected. Yes, she had kissed someone before, but had she ever gotten to this extent to where she didn’t want it to stop? No, this was a first. Then he was nipping her neck which made her gasp and grab at his neck again, now she knew everyone would suspect what she’d been up to, Good thing you have long hair…. That is now all kinds of messed up. But she ignored her messed up hair. Jasmine was no stranger to the secret things that happened in secret places, but this time she knew was going to be different, better. The passion wasn’t there before, but now it was. Jasmine was itching to get away. “I think I know somewhere we can go.” Jasmine said breathlessly. “Granted we will have to sneak through the castle, but I can assure it will be worth it.” Jasmine smirked and leaned in to kiss Gryphon again. Her lips were numb and sore, but it was an amazingly welcome feeling. They did absolutely need to find a new location, as it was they were lucky no one had discovered them yet. Normally someone was patrolling the school and if Jasmine was correct, they should come around any moment. From the castle she heard a loud roar of voices and footfalls of people moving about. If they were going to relocate now would be the time. “Come on, this will be our best chance.” Jasmine pushed away long enough to grab her bag from the ground and then returned to Gryphon and grabbed his hand, lacing her fingers with his. “You know, that might have been my pride talking,” she breathed, “I don’t care who begs for mercy.” Gently she pulled him with her, taking him back into the castle and into the throng of students changing classes; and still she hadn’t fixed her hair. Jasmine wasn’t surprised to see her friends walking around her as they entered the castle again, what did surprise her however was the way they stared at her. What are they all looking at? Her fingers twitched and as they did she felt Gryphon’s hand in hers. Oh, that. Suddenly she felt uneasy but then she remembered how Gryphon had been messing with her hair. Quickly she let go of his hand to fix it and then grabbed his hand again. Jasmine glanced at Gryphon and blushed. Though she couldn’t be positive, she was sure she had a rough idea what her friends were thinking. Without stopping, Jasmine pushed passed the large mass of bodies towards the seventh floor where the Room of Requirement waited. Jasmine’s heart was pounding loudly in her chest as she continued to climb. Every few seconds she squeezed Gryphon’s hand tightly just to make sure he was still there. Until she got to the sixth floor, she had been fine, excited even, now she was getting scared. What if this is all he wants? What if I’m playing right into his trap? That can’t be all, I mean you can’t fake that kind of passion… Can you? Jasmine felt like throwing up. Maybe I can’t fake that kind of passion, but maybe he can. Merlin, what am I doing?! Do I want this? Of course I want this…Jasmine sighed as they reached the seventh floor, the hall was almost empty of anyone as the last reaming students hurried to their classes. At The end of the hall she saw the blank spot on the wall she needed. Gently she continued down the hall with Gryphon’s hand still in hers. When they reached the blank spot she let him go and looked at him with a smile. I want this. She told herself, hoping that her face said the same. Before approaching the blank spot, Jasmine stepped in front of Gryphon and rose up to press her lips to his in a sweet kiss. The passion was still there, but the kiss was less heated. Though she felt the need to be as close to him as possible, she didn’t show that in the kiss, instead she let it be intimate and calm, but still filled with fire and passion. One hand found the side of his face and brushed it lightly sending electricity shooting up her arm. Pulling away, she looked up at him and smiled again. “Wait here.” Jasmine whispered before kissing him quickly and stepping away. Jasmine turned her back on Gryphon and stepped towards the wall, I need a private place where we can be alone. Slowly she began to pace in front of the blank spot repeating the phrase in her head. A few seconds later she heard what sounded like sand falling onto stone which caused her to stop pacing. In front of her, where the blank wall had been now stood a dark wooden door, Jasmine gasped at the beauty of it. With a smile she stepped towards it and with a shaking hand reached for the handle which turned easily. Inside she saw just what she had pictured: the room was small and dark, but the burning fire within the hearth made the room inviting. On the floor lay what looked like a large pallet of pillows. It wasn’t a bed, but it wasn’t just pillows either. Jasmine smiled at the beauty of the room and then felt heat flood her face. Her heart fluttered as she thought about what was about to happen. Turning back to Gryphon, she smiled sweetly and held out her hand to him as she slowly backed into the room…… Intermission...
I just wanna feel your arms around me babe Please.... say: Hey girl, you’re the prettiest thing my eyes have ever seen Come and lay your bones down with me, come and lay your bones down with me Hey girl, you’re the pretties thing my heart has ever known Come and lay your bones down with me, come and lay your bones down Please, please baby…. It’s a woman’s dream...Resume [/blockquote] Jasmine sat in front of the fire in her uniform, admiring the flames as they danced within the hearth. She felt like they were sharing her joy. Softly she brought a hand to her swollen tender lips. The feel of her soft touch against the numb surface sent chills down her spine. As she closed her eyes, a smile spread across her lips as she remembered every kiss. Her whole body still trembled, but she hardly noticed; she was still enjoying herself and not wanting to leave, but she began to worry. Slowly she opened her eyes again, knowing that Gryphon was close. They hadn’t spoken for some time after things calmed down, but who needed to talk? They had shared a moment that spoke louder than words, but even knowing that wasn’t enough to stop her from feeling down. In seconds Jasmine went from immense joy to stomach lurching worry. Now what? She wondered to herself as she hugged her knees to her chest feeling the heat of the fire on her face. Where do we go from here? Her biggest fear was that Gryphon had gotten what he wanted and now he was done with her. Jasmine closed her eyes and whimpered softly at the thought of being used. She wanted to ask him, but what kind of girl would she be if she killed the mood like that? With a sigh she put her chin on her knees and looked at the floor, watching the shadows dance in the flame light. I guess whatever happens happens. Even just at the thought her heart gave a painful thud. Grow up, she scolded. Not wanting to alert Gryphon to the way she was feeling she cleared her throat, “I wonder what time it is.” It was at that moment she heard a clock chime on the mantel, how had they missed that before? Not like it was hard to do. Jasmine noted the time, they’d been in there for three hours or so. “Well we’ve missed dinner.” She sighed and looked over at Gryphon. “What do you want to do?” Jasmine pursed her lips; she sounded so cold again, the exact opposite of who Gryphon had come into the room with. To try and cover her returning cold nature, she got on he hands and knees and crawled over to Gryphon. Gently, she drug her nose over his chin, his lips, his nose until their lips were almost touching. Her lips parted enough that they brushed against his, but she quickly closed them again, only to repeat the same move. The look she gave him was one of tender longing and she knew she couldn’t hide it. Not wanting him to see just how attached to him she had gotten, she pressed her lips to his roughly before pulling away and sitting up next to him waiting for him to decide what to do next. Lyrics;; Ginny Blackmore- Bones Notes;; I’m happy with this one. Hope it’s okay lovlie<3 When this thread ends we should make a new one set a few days later. We can play out how the relationship has progressed i.e. if he’s done with her, if she’s gone back to ignoring him, if they can’t be without each other >,< I think it will be fun! <<33

And then there was silence.
For the three hours preceeding this moment, there had been anything but quiet, and that had been easy and passionate and heated and fantastic. Gryphon had been able to just follow his instincts and do what he knew he did quite well, and ignited even more by the passion that Jasmine had brought to life in him, it had been even better. He had been able to completely lose himself in the moment, losing track of time and thought, losing himself in her, and nothing else had mattered. He hadn't needed to think beyond exactly what he was doing and neither did she. And Merlin, it had been so good...
But now that moment was over. Jasmine had her uniform back on and was staring into the fire, and Gryphon was mostly back in his own clothes as well, though he had neglected to take the time to button up his shirt or find his tie yet. His skin was still sensitive to the touch, and a thin layer of sweat still covered it lightly, so he wanted to cool off a bit first. In the meantime he had taken to reclining on the makeshift bed on the floor, watching Jasmine and watching the fire and watching nothing all at the same time. He was avoiding what he knew was inevitable, but it was the last thing he wanted to do, and that was to talk about what had happened.
Now that it was over, Gryphon thought back to everything that had happened leading up to this - just happening into Jasmine in the courtyard, the teasing, the first kisses, and then skipping class and letting her take him by the hand in the corridor. Leading him here. And everything else after that. Half of Hogwarts had probably seen them together, and seen the state of Jasmine's hair and probably his own smug, impassioned look. Plus Gryphon had a bit of a reputation that many people knew, so people were going to be talking. They probably already were talking; for a castle so full of secrets, when it came to things like this, it was nearly impossible to keep anything under wraps. Which meant he couldn't just run away from this like he normally did.
But did he even want to run away this time? He didn't really know, and that was where things got even more complicated.
Gryphon frowned unconsciously, absently pulling at the blanket beneath him as he got lost in his thoughts. This wasn't something he ever really had to deal with - after a bit of fun, he just left. That was the end. If someone was really good there might be a repeat experience, but that was all it ever was. Just a bit of good fun. But he had never felt the way that he had felt when he was with Jasmine before, and frankly, the strength of his emotions and feelings scared him. Gryphon always shied away from commitment in any way, shape, or form, and he didn't like thinking about things in the long term, and now that he had to he was struggling more than he cared to admit. More weakness that he didn't want to show in front of Jasmine, but he wasn't sure how well he was going to be able to hide it if they started...talking.
Suddenly he became aware that she was looking at him, and his frown dissolved when his dark eyes fell upon swollen lips and messy hair and a body he knew had his own personally made marks hidden all over it under that uniform. The fact that he still found her wonderfully attractive and just wanted more was a new feeling too; usually he was done with someone once he got what he wanted, but he still felt drawn to Jasmine. And then she was talking, but not in the playful tones that she had been using with him; she was suddenly back on guard it sounded, talking about dinner and stuff, pursing her lips at him, acting like she had closed him out once more like she had been doing for the past six years.
Was it...could it be possible that maybe she was scared too?
Gryphon smirked at her question then, shrugging a bit as he met her gaze. "Well, I can think of a few things that I'd like to do right now, but we'd probably be here another three hours," he then said with a low voice, but soon was grinning, clearly teasing her. As nice as another three hours sounded in fiction, in reality, he was exhausted and spent, and all of these emotions were a bit too much for dealing with that again right now even if it would put off the dreaded 'talk' a bit longer. Mostly, he just wanted the other Jasmine back; the one he had drawn out in the courtyard, not the cold, stoic one that he seemed to have once more.
And then she was on him, teasing him with her nose and her lips before finally kissing him - about time, because he was going to kiss her if she hadn't. He returned her rough kiss with the same aggression, enjoying another moment before she pulled away. Well, that was usually his cue to bid farewell and leave, but he couldn't bring himself to do it, and he knew he had to say something to her. He put off the inevitable a few more seconds by stretching as he gathered his thoughts, then pulled his legs under him so he was sitting cross-legged, though his usually confident gaze had dropped to the ground.
"I uh. Um. Well," Gryphon then began rather awkwardly, all charm and smooth talking gone with no trace, and his face flushed as he rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment before taking a deep breath and starting over, "I know I usually just talk a lot and stuff, but to be honest with you, I don't really know what to say right now," he then finally admitted to her, one hand nervously tugging at his hair. It was a habit he had developed as a child, and while he had mostly broken himself of it, in intense situations it came back without him noticing. "I just...I've never...I mean....what I want to say is....fakku." He trailed off, shaking his head. So much for not showing weakness in front of her; he couldn't even remember the last person that had actually put him at a loss for words. Probably his mother to be honest.
Gryphon sucked in another deep breath then, and upon realizing he had been tugging at his hair, he gave his hand a sharp, disgusted look before sitting on his hands. "What do you want to do, Jasmine?" he then finally asked after a moment of silence, though his voice was soft. He met her gaze for only a moment, but afraid she would see the fear and confusion in his eyes, she quickly looked away once more, staring down into his lap at nothing in particular. "About all this, I mean," he then added as unnecessary clarification. Maybe she would say something that made sense. He knew it was a bit of a dick move to just throw her own question and situation back at her, but he didn't know how else to handle it.

Oh how I want him, Jasmine thought as her eyes wandered across his bare chest. She bit her lip as images of her hands on that chest flashed into her memory. She was surprised there were no visible nail marks on his stomach and chest, but then she figured his back had gotten most of those. While they were together she never seemed to be close enough to him. Even if they were already pressed tightly against each other, she couldn’t help but try and get closer. This whole experience had been new to her and something she didn’t want to soon forget. What Gryphon had done to and for her was something she had longed for most of her life, but given the way things had gone thus far, she feared she would never know what true passion would feel like. She wanted to feel it again, to feel Gryphon’s hands on her body to feel his fingers brush her tender lips, just to be in his arms and close to him… to be with him, Jasmine thought with a longing sigh.
Now that she was sitting so close to him, it was apparent just how warm their bodies still were. Jasmine knew that there was still a fire burning inside her that would take a lot more to put out, but even then she wasn’t sure it would die. Gryphon had become someone to her, someone important, but how was she supposed to tell him? In a matter of minutes after Gryphon found her in the courtyard, it was apparent that Gryphon was more than just a friend to her. Sure it had mostly been play, but in seconds play changed to passion and desire. What she had been denying for so long was now impossible to ignore. Everyone had seen them walk through the hall together, she knew what they were thinking, she knew about Gryphon’s reputation, but none of that mattered. Actually she found the situation funny in retrospect. Here she was this cold, unobtainable woman and yet… Gryphon had somehow obtained her. If anyone was confused by what they saw in the hall, or amused by it, then they shared Jasmine’s prospective.
But what did all this mean to them now? Jasmine knew they would be the talk of the school until something else as equally scandalous happened, but did that mean she had react to it? To own up to it? After all, it wasn’t as if they were a couple. Jasmine’s heart gave a painful thump at the thought. Even though she hadn’t gone looking for a relationship, she felt one had just been dropped into her lap. Romance had been the last thing on her mind when she’d wandered into the courtyard, well ok maybe it was the first thing, but she didn’t expect to actually have a relationship form. Though she wasn’t sure what type of relationship Gryphon had in mind for them, Jasmine knew what she wanted. What is happening to me? This had never been a problem for her before. Passion, or lack thereof, was easy for her to walk away from. Nothing had ever left her torn like this before. Of course she had never felt like this with anyone before. Her partners in the past were just that, partners, and that’s where it ended. Both sides knew there were no feelings there and if they were there, they were one sided and not at all on Jasmine’s side. But this? The roles were reversed it seemed.
It was impossible for Jasmine to not find Gryphon attractive and charming. Even when he was being brutally honest about what he wanted to do to her she found him to be alluring because she felt the same way, but now, even more so than before, they needed to get back into the swing of things in the castle. Even as he teased her, Jasmine smiled and shook her head, as a girlish giggle escaped her lips. She was glad that they could be casual about what had happened even if she was scared. That’s it, Jasmine realized suddenly. I’m scared, and she was. She was scared of everything after that. In her mind she wondered where they went from there, what everyone outside was saying about them, would Gryphon just brag about it and say he’d finally won over Jasmine. What if that was all this was about? What if Gryphon had stumbled upon her in the courtyard and got the idea that he would to win her, to make her just another notch in his belt? Well if that was the case then he succeeded. Jasmine suddenly felt very ill. He was still there though, he was still lying there, half dressed and he still wanted her, or so he had said and he still seemed eager to kiss her and be close to her. Was that just another part of his plan? To make her believe he wanted more from her, just so she wouldn’t get suspicious and then embarrass her in front of the whole school by bragging about how he had won Jasmine. Anger and hate bubbled inside her. She couldn’t help it, just thinking that she might just be something to concur sent her insides bubbling. Yes, she might be cold and closed off, but she was still a woman and she still had feelings… Just… Maybe no one cared about her or her feelings.
Jasmine looked at Gryphon again, but noticed that he wasn’t looking at her. That wasn’t like Gryphon. As long as she’d known him, he was cool and confident and didn’t give a damn what anyone thought, now here he was acting like he didn’t know what to do.
BAM! It hit her like a ton of bricks, even before he started stammering; he wanted to leave, he was just trying not to be rude. Jasmine wanted to cry, but she wasn’t about to let Gryphon have anything else to use against her. Casually she straightened her shoulders, reverting back to the posture she was used to using. Her eyes seemed to glass over, hiding the hate and pain and longing she knew Gryphon would see there if he were to look. As she slipped back into her guarded nature, Jasmine noted the awkward way he rubbed the back of his neck and the color that flooded his cheeks. Was he blushing? Gryphon didn’t blush, apparently he just didn’t know how to act. He almost said as much, but his wording went to what he wanted, or rather didn’t know what he wanted to say. Jasmine smirked as he struggled to say what it was that he really wanted to. The way he faltered made Jasmine want to crawl into his lap and demand that he make her his, but she knew better by now. Not wanting her emotions to show, she looked at the wall, cold and shut off again.
Jasmine didn’t know what to say or do until Gryphon spoke again. He threw her own question back at her though in a different context than she had used or was it the same? He had her so confused at this point she didn’t know what she had been thinking. With a sigh she glanced at Gryphon, trying to think of how to word what it was she wanted to say. “It happened, it’s over, what else is there to say?” Jasmine flinched at her own words, but recovered by adjusting her posture. “I mean we both knew what this was.” She was lying through her teeth, she had no idea what this had been nor what it was going to be. With every word she felt like a knife was being stabbed into her heart. She was shutting Gryphon out, hurting him maybe, just because she was too scared to tell him she wanted to be with him, not just tonight but every night. Why are you doing this? Just tell him you like him and want to be his! Jasmine could feel tears trying to surface. Not wanting to seem weak in front of Gryphon, Jasmine stood slowly, brushed herself off and straightened her uniform and then looked down at him and smiled, but it wasn’t one of pleasure, rather one of cold amusement. “I’m glad you found me,” she said, her voice harsh. “We best head to the dorms. I don’t need to get in trouble because I wanted to have a little fun.” Jasmine’s voice broke on the last few words. She could feel the tears wanting to fall so she knew she had to leave. “See you around.” Jasmine said hastily before she hurried from the room.
Before the door had even shut behind her, tears rolled down her cheeks. How could she have been so cold? Gryphon was probably going to hate her for what she’d done. For six years she pushed him away and finally she let him in only to shut him out again? I won’t be surprised if he hates me. The thought of Gryphon hating her sent a fresh wave of tears streaming down her cheeks. Her mascara ran into her eyes, causing her vision to blur and her eyes to sting. Stopping at the end of the hall, at the top of the stairs, Jasmine let out a sob. What had she done? If she went back now she would probably make things worse, but she hated how she’d left Gryphon. Then she remembered why she’d done it in the first place. The tears that fell now were angry and sorrowful mixed. How was she supposed to face anyone now?
Knowing that it was passed curfew, Jamsine wiped her eyes on her robes until she could see and then hurried down the stairs, to her amazement she ran into no one. Knowing that the Common Room would probably still be occupied, she stopped in the hall that lead to the Slytherin dorms to wipe away any signs of makeup before pressing on. As soon as the entrance opened she ducked inside and found that only two people were in the Common Room and they were otherwise occupied, in much the same way Jasmine had been earlier. A fresh wave of sadness, anger and guilt washed across her, sending more tears falling. Before she could be noticed, Jasmine raced from the room and into her dorm where she fell onto her bed, cast the Muffliato charm around her bed and cried into her pillow. You’re a bitch. She thought miserably. What have you done?
Note: I wasn’t sure if this was going to be my closer or not, but it turned out perfect! I’m so excited! Hope I gave you enough to work with for your closer too lol

Being completely honest with himself - Jasmine's words both surprised, and hurt him when she answered his question. Gryphon knew that he had already failed himself when it came to trying to explain how he felt and what he wanted, but he had been hoping that perhaps Jasmine could find the words that he couldn't. Mostly because he didn't know himself yet how to handle this, nor what he actually wanted. He felt pulled in a million directions at once, one part of him saying that he wanted something more from this than he normally did, and the other part bulking at the idea and saying he was being ridiculous - he never wanted a relationship with anyone, and he was too young to be tied down to any one person, no matter how good they made him feel. The inner turmoil actually was making him feel a bit sick; he wasn't used to being this emotional, and he didn't know at all how to handle it and maintain his casual demeanour that he was so comfortable throwing up in front of everyone...
And then Jasmine had said things quite bluntly - it's over. What else is there to say? Gryphon thought he saw her flinch a bit after the words had left her mouth but it happened so fast, he was pretty sure he had made it up. He wanted her to be upset by that, but apparently she wasn't, and suddenly her cold demeanour from the past six years had returned. So she had gotten what she wanted apparently and now she was done with him. She had only asked him to help her 'loosen up' and be more like him or whatever her initial request had been, and he had done that. After all, he hadn't been expecting any of this when he had approached her between classes - he hadn't even expected this when he had kissed her the first time, even though he had certainly wanted it. And he hardly regretted it at all; regret wasn't in his nature, especially about things like this. But that didn't mean that her words didn't sting when she threw them at him, and it meant that maybe he had been reading her wrong because he hadn't expected her to react like this at all....
Was it that, for the first time, he was getting a taste of his own attitude towards things? It was always Gryphon who left first, who said it couldn't be anything else, who reminded his partner that it had never been anything more than fun, and who moved on like nothing had ever happened - sometimes leaving someone behind in quite a state. And not even giving it a second thought. But suddenly Gryphon felt himself having that thrown back in his face by Jasmine with her casual attitude and cold posture, not to mention her blunt word choice. For a moment, the look on Gryphon's face faltered and he blinked a few times, clearly taken aback as his mouth fell open slightly, but he quickly forced himself to recover. Jasmine wasn't showing any emotions about this; he certainly wasn't going to either thus. "I guess we did," he then replied, trying to sound casual again as he shrugged, but when he met her eyes his were narrowed rather dangerously despite himself.
And then suddenly she was leaving - bidding her farewell, saying she was glad he had found her but not in a romantic way, just in an almost business-like way, and saying she didn't want to get into trouble. Gryphon watched her stand up without saying anything, trying to not think about how much he wanted to pull her back down on top of him and hold her there, touch her again, start everything over just one more time - well. Probably not just once. He watched her for as long as he could but the mixed emotions he was feeling all the way in his stomach were to overwhelming, so he dropped his gaze, absently pulling at the blanket beneath him and feigning intense interest in it. He suddenly wished he had taken the time to button up his shirt because it just seemed silly now, she clearly wasn't interested in him any more. "Yeah. See you," he muttered again, once more thinking that maybe he heard her voice crack a bit but assuming he was imagining it.
He didn't watch her leave.
