Bite Me: Rachels Plotter

RACHEL ANNE BLACK
--15, 5th year, Slytherin, Vampire--


As the clock rolls by the girl takes a look
And makes it a simple task to breathe in and out
Even though the breath means nothing
The minutes mean nothing
And the picture of her picture was taken by a photographer in hell.

Rachel Black is probably the most bitter person you will ever meet. She comes off as a snob, but it is truly because of the horrors in her past that haunt her dramatically. The only person she trusts, at the moment, is her twin brother, James. Rachel is cunning, as any Slytherin should be. She uses this not to harm other people, but to avoid having to make conversation with them. She’ll talk to anyone who starts a conversation but she can’t guarantee that she will be positive, or nice. Once you delve into her soul you’ll find she is just a horrified kid looking for something to take the weight off her shoulders, she needs real friends, and she needs them bad.

Although Rachel is a scared and bitter person she has been known to have fun when the occasion calls for it, and if she’s with the right people. She is very interested in magical creatures, due to the fact that she partly is one, and hopes to become a part of the Cooperation for the protection of magical creatures, but that is in the far future for her. For now she just befriended her Owl which has delivered letters valiantly since she got him as a present from her brother (though her mother probably paid for it.)

Rachel acted quite a lot like a vampire before she even became one. She had always like the dark better than the light and empty rooms were something she was drawn too. Some people, mostly her mother, think her strange behavior is due to the fact that she never really had a father figure and was therefore drawn to loneliness. James, on the other hand, does not believe that theory. Rachel has no idea why she is the way she is. She just felt more peaceful in the dark and in the quiet.

Friends;;
Rachel needs to have a close knit group of friends. The members of this group are completely up for grabs! Anyone willing to be friends with her. Other than that she doesn't usually make friends with people or like to have conversations, but if people talk to her she will be civil and might even enjoy the conversation.

Enemies;;
Rachel considers her creator, Daniel, as her biggest enemy. Other than that a lot of people probably won't like her. She generally doesn't like other Slytherins because she thinks they are pretentious, as mentioned above, and isn't very popular in her own common room.

Love;;
This is a subject that Rachel is completely oblivious too and I am honestly open to any options, she doesn't know anything about love and hasn't really tried it before. She is too busy thinking about all of the worries in her life. But i'd love for her to get somewhere with someone! In fact I kind of want to find someone to be her saving grace. I do have someone in mind in the adopt ads but it is not mandatory.

Xander: A hate/hate relationship.

Albus: Bestie, cuddle buddy, trustworthy.

Scorpius: Private Friends

Albus & Rachel: Albus always thought he was misplaced in Slytherin and by his personality well the open part of it most think so as well. Most of the other slytherins don't like him but I think if she didn't act so snobby around him they could get along. She is a year younger but maybe he be her one true and good friend in the common room. Albus would be nervous at the start because he is always around girls but I think they could have started a friendship in her second year his third. Albus loves to joke around and is a hopeless romantic he is gay however, but he could explain love to the best of his ability and they could swoon over it. He would have been her friend before she turned Vamp so he's accept her for it. Thoughts?

Xander & Rachel: Hate, Xander is cocky and rude he doesn't get along with people who are not just like him. He is judgmental and a total jerk.

Scorpius & Rachel: I think they could be friends, see he is snobby but different in himself. Scorp has to live by his last name so sometimes he can be heartless when around his posse of Slytherins but outside of that he just wants someone to see him for more then his last name. He would notice she was cold and bitter and wonder why, he wouldn't discriminant her being a vampire maybe even be intrigued by it.

Albus and Rachel:
I love it. I like him being able to accept her as a vampire because he knew her before. Maybe she was even a little bit happier than and being with Albus reminds her of when she was normal and she feels better about life. Yeah, I like this. I also thing she would support him being gay and try to relate to him as best as possible, even though she doesn't know much about love. Maybe he tried to convince her it's not such a bad thing since he is a hopeless romantic.

Xander and Rachel: Yeah, she's gonna hate him. Possibly might try to attack him but someone (Albus?) would have held her back.

Scorpius and Rachel: Now THIS is an interesting topic. I think in the public of the common room he'd be as big a jerk to her as ever and she'd be such a snob to him. But maybe they even become friends in private. Maybe they start to run into each other secretly. Hell, they could maybe become something romantic. It'd be interesting to play out his interest in her vampire nature. Maybe he even provokes her like toying with fire.

Al & Rach: Albus totally would he just went through a break up so he is on the quest for new love along with being Jax's little toy right now. Maybe she could even find out about Rosine's and Jax's plot and try to warn Al about it but he will be think headed and think she is lying of course. He would however be skeptical and confront his 'crush'. Albus and Rach total besties he helps her cope with being a vampire and she helps him cope with the loss of his father and his love life. He will open up to her and show her love is a great thing to have. Late night dorm room conversations and cuddle buddies!

Xander & Rach: Oh Xander would laugh in her face he is a seer, he'd prob see it coming but I'm sure they would bicker with one another and find themselves in a world of trouble. Maybe even duel and get caught and end up being detention partners at some point.

Scorp & Rach: Private friends is perfect, Scorp can be a little selfish but he is a Malfoy that is expected. After the whole awkward talking and what not I can see them being friends and what not.

Al, Xander and Scorp with Rachel:
It all sounds great! We just need to play it all out!

MARUIS LESTRANGE: Same house, same year so they'd definitely know each other. I can imagine Marius isn't all that nice to her in a public environment as he puts on a bit of a show of being a blood purist, but that's just to please his father - Marius actually doesn't give a damn. I can imagine Marius being one of the first people Rachel comes to when she feels like letting loose because he's a party animal and would really encourage her to have fun - before going back to ignoring her in the common room the next day.

ROSINE LESTRANGE: The thing is with Rosine is that she's a manipulative bitch. She wouldn't like Rachel at all, would in fact be quite repulsed by her vampy self, but would be perfectly pleasant to her face. Rosine doesn't make a habit of outwardly disliking people in case they could be useful to her at some point... Shes also Xander's best friend so if Xander dislikes her that strongly then Rosine would have his back.

JAX GOYLE: This relationship would probably be quite changeable. I can't see them having a lot to do with each other, until such time as Albus came on the scene for him. I see you and Krys have suggested that perhaps Rachel finds out about the plot Jax & Rosine have, information Jax would definitely not not want getting out, so perhaps there's something there? Later once Al & Jax are together i can see Jax trying to get to know her for Albus's sake...

ARCHIE D'EATH Archie is my 7th year Ravenclaw Vampire... he's been a vampire for 114 years, so perhaps when she was first changed Archie took her under his wing a bit and taught her the ropes? He's old fashioned and struggles with the informality of todays society so comes across as very aloof and superior, but he's just a product of the era in which he was born. I can see them being friends - perhaps even more if neither of their other halves in adopts ever get taken up?

Not sure what we could cook up between Rachel and those guys but if you have any ideas let me know.

Archie and Rachel:
I actually was reading your plotpage for him and trying to decide what to do about them, cuz I knew they had to be something. Well-I LOVE the idea of her having another vampy that took her under his wing. Also, I think EVENif our finals do get taken we could be something more for a while. Personally, I think it'd be really fun and great to put these two together. Especially as best friends/lovers. I can easily see Rachel falling in love with him, especially since he is so honorable and old fashioned, which is something the girl needs in her life.

Marius and Rachel:
Haha! I don't know if Rachel would ever want to loosen up like that. Only if someone seriously persuaded her or something crazy happened and she got stuck in that situation. Maybe Marius even convinces her cuz he knows she's a tight individual. It'd be a tough relationship... but it could be interesting if he can actually get her to have some fun!

Rosine an Rachel:
Enough said! And agreed.

Jax and Rachel:
Yes, I see this developing exactly how you said. he'd have to befriend her once he decides to be something real with Al. Maybe they even sort of become friends. And about Rachel figuring out the plot-I sense some real drama between the four of them there and Rachel can show her more aggressive side.

Love it all Just going back to Rachel & Archie though - we both have adopt ads up for their makers. I was trying to figure out if it would be possible that by some twist of fate if their maker could be the same person? What do you think? Would be quite a cool twist, and also means that we'd only need 1 person instead of 2

Oh i guess I sort of know what you mean but I don't know if it's really that important.

But, it would be kind of cool when they found out that they had the same maker.

So I am not sure if Scarlett and Rachel would be friends inless Rachel doesn't mind a sweet Slytherin. I can offer her for a friend. Any other ideas let me know.

Gryphon would definitely at least try to be friendly with Rachel since they're in the same house and he would have rather constant access to her; probably be quite flirty with her as well. Her bad attitude would only intrigue him and serve as a personal challenge to overcome as he sees himself as quite charming, so even if she hated him, he probably wouldn't stop bothering her all the same - and at least in his eyes, see her as a friend. It would take a lot for him to see her as any enemy.

Kaito ;; Rachel

Straight up, Kaito would probably either be scared of or just plain intimidated by Rachel. And if she ever gave him any sort of really aggressive attitude, he would probably give it right back to her. So maybe enemies? Might be a fun thread sometime if you just want to have awkward arguments.
