With shocking orange hair and bright amber eyes she isn’t one that goes unnoticed especially in her Hogwarts robes since the colours clash ever so vibrantly. Her skin tones pale radiated only by a natural blush on her high cheek bones, her lips are plump and are coloured a natural red. She has a skinny boyish frame, which lacks most curves desired by many of her age, because of this unless she wears something fitted clothes tend hang off of her. She stands at an average height though she wishes she were taller she doesn’t mind her height.

What make me unique;

One of the first things most notice about Annie Donovan is her clear open mind, you could walk into a history of magic wearing a bin bag wrapped in Christmas lights and she’d probably high five you. With that in mind she’s generally a very accepting individual with a big heart open to all whom care to share in it. Friendly by nature Annie mostly cares little for who you are; if you’re willing to talk to her and share in a decent conversation she’ll have more than enough time for you. She’s quite hyper by nature and loves anything fun or exciting, while she’s not exactly a thrill seeker she certainly up for most things that are within reason. Her pet peeve is arrogance and misogyny, she absolutely abhors it, so those who tend to use it seriously will probably be treated to a fresh dose of her rapier wit.

Speaking of wit, some people really don’t appreciate what a hilarious person she is... It really does puzzle her sometimes. Like most Ravenclaws Annie holds a passion for learning, and to put it bluntly she is a genius, and she would be on paper if she wasn’t so terrifically lazy, sometimes she tends to forget to study, most of her home works usually finished last minute too, but that doesn’t mean she gets bad results, there simply average but they’d be a lot higher if she planned properly. She has little patience for those that can’t grasp things straight away, and she tried tutoring once but the poor first year ended up in tears and Annie in detention. She’s never felt guiltier in her life. With that in mind she is indeed quite an impatient person, she likes things she’s into done then and there and doesn’t tend to hold her tongue when things don’t go to her liking. Her creativity is something that shines through her personality, she’s a dreamer by nature and very much an idealist, and once she gets an idea or a plan she tends to meticulously plan it.

However, while she may give the impression of some manic pixie girl, sometimes she can be a very quiet individual when not in the company of her friends, you see its her friends that give her most of her confidence and if you were take them away you’d see a vulnerable person that hates being isolated for more than long period of time. Her self esteem isn’t high but nor is it technically low, she does take pride in her appearance but she doesn’t really care who likes it and who doesn’t, Annie doesn’t doll herself up for anyone but herself and you’d be wrong to think it was to impress the males of the school. Though sometimes she does feel somewhat insignificant around a lot of the prettier girls in the school, it’s at this point she usually trails herself off to read some Plath or Carter. You see despite her general happiness which most come to associate with Annie, she does have a sensitive side and Annie can get upset very easily when people are horrible to her, she doesn’t bottle things up but she will hold it in until she can privately have a good old cry or tantrum in peace.

Living the teenage dream,

Cassie and Jack first met during their time at Hogwarts; they hated each other at first until one day on their last day of term Cassie got off her high horse and asked Jack out on a date. Jack was shocked to say the least but nevertheless agreed, the rest was history and the two were inseparable from then onwards. Careers came and they struggled for a while financially until Cassie finally received a job at Madam Malkins sizing and fitting people. Jack finally got his big break when he was accepted as a chaser on the reserve team for the Appleby Arrows; Quidditch had always been his dream.

Two years later and with them secure in their home Cassie gave birth to Annie on a hot June day naturally the family were made up with the arrival of their daughter and Jack couldn’t remember a moment during their first year of her birth were he didn’t have a stupid big grin plastered across his face. Finally Annie grew up; throughout her childhood she’d shown signs of being a natural gifted child, learning to read at quite an early age she finally showed signs of magic when she was only seven. Like most magical children her age she was overjoyed when she received her letter and was excited to go on her educational adventure to Hogwarts.
Annie was sorted into Ravenclaw and beaming with pride she jumped off of her chair and marched with glee to the Ravenclaw table. The rest of her Hogwarts life came and went averagely with nothing amazing standing out, she joined the quidditch team taking the position of a chaser (her father was overjoyed), and gained average grades, though most of her teachers agreed that she would have received top marks if she just planned her work.
Tragedy struck in her fifth year, when her mother was killed in a hit and run accident, Annie was heartbroken and it hit the family really hard, to help with her grieve and to keep herself busy as well as help provide for the family, during the summer Annie took on an extra job which she works whenever she’s home regardless of the hours. It would be her worst fear to lose her home she’s already lost her mother she doesn’t think she could handle anything else.

With her sixth year upon her and life somewhat put into perspective for her, Annie’s vowed to work harder and get decent grades in her NEWTS, she doesn’t want to fail she wants to do well with her life.
