He hangs in that gray area between short and tall at 5’8. While he has nocare for things of muscles and brawn he did keep himself in shape until the drinking begin. Since then it has slipped considerably but he still carries some tone underneath his muscles. He carries mostly his mother’s genes with his blazing red hair and freckles but, much to his chagrin, his father’s looks linger in his blue eyes. He bears no scars or other distinguishing marks on his body as despite putting himself in more dangerous situations than he likes to admit he’s walked away unscathed even if that wasn’t what he wanted.
What make me unique; Gabriel more often than not avoids people. He prefers books and other such things to actual human interaction. Not that he can’t interact with other people. Unlike most who shun people Gabriel is a social expert. Knowing exactly when to laugh, smile, frown, disagree, and whatever else people expect of him. In that way he is a chameleon and has recently been using these abilities to acquire free booze from other students if he can’t procure his own. Over all hard to read not even Gabriel knows what or who he truly is as a person. Then again he doesn’t really care.
Unfortunately Gabriel exhibits all the normal signs of an angst ridden teenager. Angry at his father’s stupidity and indifference he finds himself trying to be everything the man was not. He doesn’t care for others squabbles and why should he? He’s got his own problems to worry about after all. One of Gabriel’s most vicious traits is just how blunt and honest he can be when he wants to hurt someone picking out their flaws in hopes that they won’t notice his own. Observant to a fault Gabriel spends most of his time trying not to take in his surroundings even though he spends a fair amount of time out on the grounds just milling around. No longer a Qudditch team member after a particularly embarrassing accident involving a bludger Gabriel’s sports drive has pretty much dried up. Despite all of his drive to attain knowledge he lacks any kind of direction when it comes to just what he wants to do in life. All he knows is that he doesn’t want to be like his father.
[/size] Likes; Books, booze, laying around, late nights, homework, the summer, and girls with cut e eyes.
Dislikes;Morons, early mornings, most breakfast foods, any strenuous exercise, any activity he deems pointless, being around people for extended periods of time, and generally most things .

Living the teenage dream,
There has been a rather long history of rather moronic people managing to somehow produce smart ones. This tradition, much to his current chagrin, continued when Eric Montague and Simone Ricci produced Gabriel Mace Montague. Had he known what blundering idiots his parents were then he may have crawled away at the earlier possible date. Gabriel of course had no idea that this was the case though and for the first few years their relationship was wonderful. It’s easy as a child to think that your parents know everything. It was that naivety that Gabriel carried with him to the playground one day and it got him laughed at. Gabriel hated being laughed at. One scuffle later and Gabriel had vowed never to believe another word his moronic father said. What was the point if it was only going to get him humiliated?
Knowing shame hardened Gabriel to a certain degree and he avoided most other children after that point. It wasn’t that he disliked them it was that he just didn’t really care all that much about them. He immersed himself in books desperate to never look like a fool again. Moreover he ignored his father’s continually tirades about this that or the other thing. He just didn’t really care. His acceptance to Hogwarts surprised no one including him as he had been slamming the door in his parent’s face without being anywhere near it anytime they came round. As far as Gabriel was concerned the only good thing about his parents was that they had inherited old money and were rich. At least that meant they could buy him whatever books he wanted.
At Hogwarts Gabriel continued on his path of ignoring others and burying his nose in books. Not that he really enjoyed all of his classes but he didn’t want to end up being a total dolt like his father so he excelled if only because that was the only option that made sense. Some people accept greatness when it is thrust upon them while others try to make the greatness happen for themselves. Gabriel was the latter and he knew it. He carried a great disdain for most of the student population if only because he seemed to be popular without trying. One of those rather odd and rare occasions where someone doing nothing at all and keeping their mouths shut causes people to like them if only because they see them as another nodding head in the back of the room. Gabriel just wished they’d all leave him the ‘ell alone.
That was of course until his fourth year when he was forced to attend a party. He didn’t care much for the people but the alcohol was a rather wondrous discovery. From that moment forward Gabriel was a lush. In retrospect it seemed that he was determined to find some way to destroy himself as soon as the realization that he hated his parents kicked in, as some children do, he just hadn’t found the avenue to do it with until now.
Whether or not being named prefect in his fifth year had been a fluke or a mere oversight of his worsening behavior Gabriel will never know or really care. While he wears the badge he hardly takes the position seriously and if anything uses it to simply abuse the power it has given him. To figure out what corridors and classrooms won’t be watched to throw parties whenever he please. Gabriel may still despise his classmates but they’re an excuse for him to find, get, and drink as much booze as he pleases until he’s spattering his guts across the bathroom. Quite frankly he can’t think of any better way to spend his time when he isn’t reading. After all drinking alone is always just so depressing.
