You don't know your beautiful:

Ok so first thing most people notice about me is my build - i'm built ok? I'm about 6' 3" so i'm tall, and I'm very muscular. I've got a physical job which does help and i really enjoy working out so yeah i've got a body a lot of guys would be envious of. I don't really think about it too much though, i think the body kinda goes in part with being a werewolf anyway - we tend to build muscle easily even in human form...

I've got blonde hair that is curly if I let it grow long. I hate the curls though so I keep it cut quite short. I've got pale blue eyes - ice blue i've heard them be called but to me that just sounds cold, and i'd rather not have anything cold about me. I've got an aristocratic straight nose and lips that i believe have been described by more than one female as 'kissable', whatever the hell that means!

Thankfully, since meeting all my siblings at Hogwarts over time, i'm lucky enough to say that I don't think I resemble my father much at all, taking more after my mother. I consider that a blessing because beyond a name and DNA i'd like to share as little with that man as possible.

What make me unique;

What can I tell you about myself... ok well im a pretty compassionate kinda guy which i know seems weird strange given my surname but it's true. I hate seeing other people suffer and will always reach out and help if I can. I guess that probably comes from having lived the way I have and having been on the receiving end of all that suffering so often in my life, i have real empathy for others in the same situation.

I've got a big heart for sure and always try to stay optimistic about life in general. I try to always look for the good in every situation, and every person. I figure there's enough ugliness in the world as it is without actively looking for it. I've been told that's a really naive point of view by people before, that i'm just setting myself up for a fall, but i really don't see it that way. Just because I choose not to focus on the bad stuff doesn't mean i don't know its there, i'm a freaking werewolf for merlins sake, i just prefer to enjoy the good stuff.

My lifestyle is pretty simple and I love it that way. I don't see the point in over complicating things the way so many people do. I like knowing whats what and i'll always speak my mind to avoid miscommunications that result in misunderstandings and unnecessary drama - if people just said exactly what they wanted to more often then life would be so much easier and everyone would understand each other better in my rather humble opinion. I also find living an uncomplicated life heaps my focus which come the full moon is definitely a bonus.

I'm a lover by nature for sure, much to what i'm sure must be my fathers disgust... not that i would know of course, i haven't seen the man since i was 10. I like to enjoy life, live each moment like its your last and without regret. I'm loyal to my friends and definitely my family - i'd do anything within my power for each and every one of my siblings, it was one of the reasons i took the job so I could stay at Hogwarts and be there for them.

Living the teenage dream,

Charis Diggory (you may have heard of her older cousin, Cedric?) was only 17 years old she was taken captive by the werewolf known as Fenrir Greyback. He seemed quite taken by the blonde haired, blue eyed beauty and kept her captive for months, slowly gaining her trust before they finally began an intimate relationship. It was short lived however because as soon as Charis realised she was pregnant Fenrir abandoned her with nothing. She was devastated and made her way back to her parents home in London where they had been frantic with worry for months, finally assuming the worst, that their daughter had joined her cousin in the after life. When she came back however, pregnant and heart broken they were angry - how could she have come to allow that beast into her heart, and into her bed? She was sent to healers to establish if perhaps some kind of mind control spell had been used, but they eventually diagnosed something the muggles would call 'Stockholm Syndrome', where a person held captive begins to feel sympathy and even love toward their captor...

As the pregnancy progressed Charis was able to look back on her time with Fenrir with a clear head brought on by freedom and see him for what he really was. She hated him with an all consuming passion and often wondered if she'd be able to love the child growing inside of her. Charis and her parents moved from London to Nottingham, hoping that it would be better for the young child to have a forest to run in should he inherit his father's monthly condition... The night Ulric Gabriel Diggory was born was a full moon and the Diggory family wondered if perhaps that was an omen of things to come. They all breathed a sigh of relief however when they saw Ulric's coloring and noted that he looked a lot like his mother and there didn't seem to be much resemblance to Fenrir in the baby's face at all. This lack of similarities to his father was a true blessing as there was nothing in her small son that reminded Charis of him, and she quickly found she loved being a mother, even if she was very young.

Ulric grew into a happy young boy and was raised by his mother and grandparents, never seeing his father. He was homeschooled by the 3 adults in his life who shared with him a wealth of knowledge about a world that he couldn't wait to join. They never told him anything about his father, and whenever Ulric asked they would simply tell him that he wasn't a very nice man and that Ulric was better off without him. They had decided long ago to tell Ulric about his father being a werewolf only if (or when) Ulric himself showed signs of the disease.

By the time he'd reached the age of 10, Ulric had shown no signs of it beyond a preference for very undercooked red meats and the family thought they were in the clear - if Ulric was going to transform surely he would have by then right? Little did they know that Fenrir had been sniffing around in the shadows, having decided to 'check up' on all his pubs. When the next full moon came round and Fenrir saw that his son did not transform he was livid that the boy had not inherited the lycantrophy gene. A month went by and Fenrir plotted and planned. The day of the following full moon, Fenrir waited for his oppurtunity and took 10 year old Ulric into the forest where he told Ulric who he was, what he was, and what Ulric was going to become. If the lycantrophy gene didn't pass on through Fenrir's DNA, then there was only one solution and as the moon rose in the sky that night and Fenrir transformed he bit Ulric, passing on his birthrite the old fashioned way before disappearing into the night leaving his son bleeding on the forest floor.

After searching for him all night, Ulric's mother and grandparents finally found him alone in the forest the next day and when they saw the bite mark and knew what had happened, Ulric's story just confirming it. They spent the next 12 months helping him anyway they could to control that side of himself, though it must be said that Ulric took to becoming a werewolf well - in a funny way, almost like he was born to do it. At age 11 he received his Hogwarts letter and they agreed to send him with the schools full support and promise to help him every month. It was also at that time that Ulric decided to start using his father's surname rather than his mother's. His family was alarmed when he told them his choice, but as he explained that using the Greyback surname gave people fair warning as to whom and what he was and he felt that using Diggory was only hiding this. They honored his choice and so he was enrolled as Ulric Greyback.

To everyones surprise and pleasure he was sorted into Hufflepuff, though even the sorting hat wondered what the ramifications would be of a Hufflepuff werewolf... Ric loved it though, people in Hufflepuff didn't seem to judge him for what he was, he could just be himself. He soon learnt that he had 2 older sisters in Hogwarts and was amazed at how meeting them filled a part of himself he hadn't even realised was missing. A couple of years later even more Greyback's arrived at Hogwarts and after that he could help but get stupidly excited at every sorting as he listened carefully for any more 'Greyback's' to be called foward. Ric loves his siblings, each and every one, and loves that he's not alone any more on each full moon. His brother Luca is the Alpha which some might find strange seeing as Ric is the oldest male, but Luca was born for the job and Ric is happy just taking his place at Luca's side as a Beta and helping his brother wherever necessary.

His Hogwarts career was pretty standard really, he had great friends, a few girlfriends though nothing really serious, and was captian and a chaser on the Hufflepuff quiditch team. His grades were average, nothing special really but he still passed easily. After graduating the headmaster offered him the grounds keeper job as the previous occupant of the role had decided to retire and Ric jumped at the chance. He gets to live at Hogwarts, spend his days outside, make sure the forest is a safe place for the pack to run every month, and he's close to his siblings should they ever need him. It's perfect.
