The courtyard was incredibly peaceful, which allowed Molly to relax on a cold marble bench by the fountain, reading up on her transfiguration. It was an early weekend morning, but Molly didn't feel the need to wake up her fellow peers who decided sleeping in was the best option for the weekend. Feeling a little lazy, the brunette wore black jeans, a white t-shirt and put her heavy jacket over so she wouldn't freeze.
What better way to spend the morning than learning new tricks to play on the first years? One not much for quills, she was equipped with a pencil, scribbling tiny chicken-scratched notes on certain spells that she's already tried. "That could be great for that bratty cub," she mumbled, scribbling his name beside the spell, "Ooh! and that one will be great for the little lizard that was picking on one of the house elves." The Weasley girl scribbled another side note on a different spell. Entranced with her book, she didn't hear any of the snow crunching nearby. Her music blared on the headphones around her neck, clearly it was some tunes mashed together with heavy beats, but to anyone not familiar with muggle music, it most likely sounded like garbage.

No, none f these little first years would listen to him and he grew tired with it. Being a prefect wasn't always easy. It was a tough job handed out with much trust and responsibility. Albus Potter lead the children to breakfast in an orderly manner. Most wouldn't dare cross his dark side, he was nothing nice when upset or flustered. After years of questioning why he was placed a Slytherin, Albus gave up and accepted it. It wasn't so bad, it was unique amongst all his family members. His own father was most likely to be placed in this house and a tale on the platform of 9 and 3/4 was why he accepted this house and didn't object. Albus was a strong willed young boy, cleaver and sly. His sassy, spiteful side was most likely the reason he was placed in the Green and Silver decorated house.
It was time for some fresh air, Albus exited the castle walls wrapping his scarf around his neck. He journeyed to the courtyard his aqua eyes capturing his cousin Molly. Molly like him was a bit different then most when it came to personality. Them both having attractions to the same sex as their own when it came to partners. Albus watched Molly during the years, she was different even a little devious trickster at times. Albus walked up behind the girl looking over her shoulder reading her sloppy writing. "Picking on younger students again Molly, didn't you just have detention for that a week ago?" Albus questioned crossing his arms over his chest shifting his weight to one side. He saw he headphones and shook his head feeling ignored and pushed them away. "That illegible plot your planning is not taking part under my watch. You seriously have nothing better to do then pick on defenseless youth? It's pathetic." Albus scolded shaking his head. This was a great way to kick start his day he thought sarcastically.

Molly enjoyed playing tricks on the younger students. It had started recently after the forced break up of her and the Slytherin girl. It was a coping method, or at least that's what she told her mother. People deal with pain in different ways. Molly preferred to do it by harming others, sometimes with little pain.
Sometimes when Molly saw it fit, she actually chose to remember her cousin's names. So when her Potter cousin came by to disturb her rigorous research, she remembered the annoying one. "You're no fun, Al-Bee." She rolled her eyes and shut her book, turning to face her cousin. "Oh and last time I checked, Al-Bee, I was an elder to you." She smirked and stood up to reach his height. "And picking on defenseless youth? Hah. I'm not picking on them. I'm just giving what they deserve. Survival of the fittest, Al-Bee." The brunette snatched her headphones and put them back around her neck, smiling innocently. "Speaking of those little rascals, shouldn't you be babysitting them?"

In all honesty Molly was one of his cousins he really didn't know well. Albus was constantly hunted down by her sister Lucy however. It was strange how close he could be to Lu but know nothing about Molly. Perhaps it was the same for Lucy who knew. Albus ruffled his dark hair and looked down at her calling him by his childhood nickname. Albus quirked an eyebrow, it had been something people just stuck with through the years even if he didn't Fancy it. His real name was a mouthful, quite unique amongst his other family members. Albus wondered why his father named him after the great head master, yet he wouldn't deny it was a great honor. "Molly when your plotting, I don't need to be fun. Fun is over rated." Albus explained folding his arms over his chest listening more to what the girl was saying. Albus choked on a laugh for a moment shaking his head. The laughter even brought tears to his green-blue eyes as he wiped them. "My Elder ey? You certainly don't act it so before you claim it remember whom is more mature in the matter." Albus replied furrowing his brows.
It was really interesting to him, how Molly became the way she was. In the sense of hostility the two were having there was no way of trying to defuse it quickly. Molly's words would get to him, as his would to her and it would get them no where. "Molly can I you honestly why they 'deserve' someone older picking on them. I'm sure they get that enough from their own age group. Did they do something to you personally?" Albus asked trying to peel away the layers to what made Molly Weasley so cold. Albus took a seat beside her, he didn't want her to think he was an asshole although he was at times. Perhaps being friendly was a bit better even if they bickered. "Well it's the weekend, I only patrol during curfew." Albus explained offering her a hesitant smile. "What are you doing out here all alone anyways Molly? It's cold and lonely. However, I can keep you company if you'd like." Albus offered trying to reach out to his cousin.

It's quite a funny story how James and Molly, both being in the same year, never actually hung out. Molly made it seem like it never bothered her, but it did and so it wasn't obvious, she became a lost puppy. Her sister, Lucy, had no problem making friends with Albus. By her third year, Molly was actually jealous at their closeness, aggravated that she didn't have that relationship with James. She did not bother with her other cousins and chose to stick to most of her housemates that weren't related to her.
Molly rolled her eyes at her cousin's comment. "You must be fun at parties, Al. Y'know, not all prefects have their foot up their ass twenty four-seven." Her smirk faltered when the younger Slytherin laughed at her. Damn, that hurt. [/color] The brunette huffed in exasperation. Nothing annoyed her more than people not taking her seriously. "Well, you sure aren't my elder. Your title is meaningless outside these walls. Outside these walls, you'd have a wedgie that would take days to get out, even with a spell." She was joking of course. She wasn't one for violence among family, unless it was her father. Molly sat back in the bench, raising a brow at Albus. "When people get bored, they do silly things, Al-Bee. Take our eldest cousin for example. After she dumped Teddy's sorry ass, she eventually got bored. So what did she do, you might ask? She flirted with any student - both male and female - and played them like a harp that could put a three-headed dog to sleep. In short, Al, when I'm bored, I do this. Those kids only have the beginning of what's to come." All of what Molly was saying was indeed true, but the lingering effects of the death eater's daughter was still within her, the dark magic still in the brunette mind. "Curfew, ey? Still not gonna write up your family, right? Oh god, imagine how Christmas would be. Your mother in an argument with my father about you sending me to detention. I mean, he'd expect no less, but to get caught by my cousin." Molly laughed at her cousin's offer. "That sounds like a horrible date," she joked with him, "Besides these spells, I'm just thinking about the past..." She shut her book and gave a fake smile to Albus. "See, I'm innocent."
