Another mudane day of training and another day of work. He was glad that he was at least getting paid for this monotonous routine, the majority of the Auror training was not difficult for Davin. His father's constant teaching and demanding as he had grown up learning spells and whatnot was certainly helpful as he was used to this type of pressure. If anything it was not nearly as difficult because his father was not a man that knew how to be nice or friendly at all. If the father gene had been present Davin had hardly seen it, and the only convincing that he had needed of that was his father's treatment after he had been sorted into Ravenclaw and not Slytherin. Truth be told the reilef off Davin's shoulders had been great, but the treatment had only gotten worse and strengthened his resolve to distance himself from that reputation and create his own. For a Ravenclaw it was hardly the personality needed for an Auror, but he had stood up tall on his own to make his own name and now he was more than halfway done with his training and getting antsy. As the only Ravenclaw out of his siblings he felt like he had to prove something. It was an open secret that his father didn't see him in the same light as his younger brother, but that was old news and still he felt the need to drink to that. The bartender placed a glass down on the old oak bar and the sound of the glass making contact with the wood spurred him from his thoughts. Nodding in thanks he picked up the glass and let the fiery liquid slip past his lips and down his throat, the few ice cubes barely touching his lips and he placed the glass back down. It wasn't abnormal to see him grabbing a drink after work, whether here at the bar if he couldn't wait to get to his apartment.

Davin had taken the opportunity to move out once he had graduated and he had enough money to sustain himself and also whatever his mother managed to give him without their father knowing. It was a benefit of being from a pure-blood Death Eater family as having the money. It wasn't something that he spoke about often and he didn't bring up, it was an uncomfortable subject to some people who didn't have that much growing up. But no matter of items or possession made up for his terrible childhood of learning about the Unforgivable Curses at the age of 7 or 8 and learning other matters of the Dark Arts in hope of creating a family bandwagon of Death Eater children. It was silly and he distanced himself from the siblings that believed in that ridiculous facade and was close to those that had some sense of reality that the Death Eaters would never exist again as they had in the last Wizarding War. It was times like these, a long day of running around and practicing stealth that he felt quiet and reserved as he normally was, it was what had separated him from being sorted into Gryffindor or Slytherin. He was smart, extremely smart, but lacked the charisma of a Slytherin or the outgoing personality of a Gryffindor. Had he not had the good heart that he did he would have most certainly been in Slytherin for his brain and personality but to his fortune he was lucky. Drinking more of his drink he hardly noticed the new presence to his side joining him at the bar and he had barely put down his glass to turn his head after hearing his name being mentioned by that visitor.
