To paint a beautiful picture. There were many tasks to turn over before a picture would become perfect, and satisfying to Devonn's liking. Many colors, the perfect blend, no smudges and a lot of dedication. Creativity never lacked for Devonn Dearborn, the girl lived her art work, amongst music and other forms of natural entertainment. She had never been the type to run too wild, never been the type to attend too many parties in the year. Life was strict living under the enforcement of her older brother, but even he couldn't resist her eyes all the time. At times, Devonn would wonder what she was missing out on, however she knew she was living life the way she enjoyed it, therefore there was contentment. The weekend had finally came and she took her time after breakfast gathering her art supplies. Devonn didn't really have a set date in mind, normally Lily would find her. Or she would run into a group of her friends, or even the occasional flirtation of a random bloke, who knew. That was the trill of being her, she'd always find someone to keep her busy and entertained.

Just putting on a pair of jeans and a sweater dress she looked herself over in the mirror. Some make up applied, and some curls added to her long locks, and she was ready to head outside. Her divination professor predicted the weather to be nice today. It was a decent change from the cold weather. Spring brought Devonn muse for painting. The new life starting over, and the colors were inspiring. This being her motivation to get messy with some paint. Devonn gathered her supplies and put them into her bag. Back in third year her mother had gave the bag to her, said to have placed an undetectable extension charm on it so it could hold many of her possessions, but stay light in weight. Devonn loved her bag, she'd be no where without it, like a girl without the right shows. As for those, she slid on a pair of heels matching her outfit perfectly. Over all her appearance was beautiful and she was satisfied now to take her leave from Hufflepuff common room.

Devonn made her way from the basement to the main floor, stopping to have casual conversation throughout the halls. After she was done she made her way outside choosing the stone circle to be her setting. She pulled out her supplies setting up her easel. She grabbed her palette and poured some white and blue paint on it. Then grabbed some yellow and red. These were just some basic colors to play with, til she got a feel of what she wanted to do. After gathering paints and taking a seat at the gazebo, she looked at her easel sticking her tongue out the corner of her mouth, looking from the scenery to her own canvas. Devonn dipped her small brush into the blue paint and started to map out her painting. After a long while, she was covered in splattered paint, but she would never insult art by wearing a smock. Devonn heard some footsteps, and not just a single person. She turned around itching her cheek, not knowing she rubbed paint on it wondering who would join her. "Buongiorno!" She squealed her basic Italian greeting, waving excitedly amused by the fact she now had a small audience. At least she wasn't alone, it didn't seem like she was there for too long yet being distracted was a down fall of her's. "How is everyone today?" She asked grinning as she placing her brush down, ready to take a small break, and hang with her friends from Godric Hallows.
