His hair that cant seem to stay down is seen as endearing and his condescending, ever-present smirk is seen as charming. He has nice eyes, long eyelashes and a habit of making girls swoon. At his young age, hes rather tall though he hasnt quite filled out yet, leaving him a bit of a beanpole. Though he may not have the striking good looks of a male model, he certainly has his own charm. His face is long and handsome: his manner playful and teasing. Some people have their personalities sketched across their faces: and from James mischievous smile to his twinkling eyes, everyone can tell that he is brimming with self-confidence and teenage rebellion. He dresses well enough, though mostly sticks to the school uniform (seeing as not wearing it is a stupid way to end up in detention). Altogether, James is a handsome young man.
What make me unique; In 2021, James Sirius Potter smoked too much, he had had too many detentions, and hed had too many girlfriends. Ever since hed been a little boy, James had been a bit of trouble. Though he was an overall likable kid, he liked a good practical joke, even if the recipient didnt enjoy it nearly as much as he did. He was loud and boisterous, often causing the more subdued to try and avoid him.
Hogwarts probably did James more bad than it did him good, seeing as in his first year he realized that he had a bit of a reputation before him. When hed been home, hed always loved to pull a quick one over on his younger brother and sister. At Hogwarts, he really found a love for pulling pranks and breaking rules. It is certain that James Potter must hold a record for most detentions (he has currently had 73 since the first year). James care-free and footloose nature allow him to do things like snog whomever he pleases, set fireworks off in the hallways, and smoke as many cigarettes as he likes (not in the school though. Hes pretty sure they have some kind of policy in the halls).
The sixth year is of the opinion that he is universally well liked. Throughout the years, the infamy of the name James Potter spread and often younger students (particularly girls) are a little awestruck with him. Of course, like any teenager, the popularity went to his head and made him more than a little cocky. James Potter is of the opinion that he is irresistible. When a girl claims not to like him it hardly fazes him because he reckons sooner or later shell come around. Everyone wants to snog James Bloody Potter at some point, right? Between the third and fifth years especially, he was an idiot when it came to girls. He would kiss them, take them on one date, kiss them again, and then move on to the next bird.
Contrary to popular belief though, James is more than just a crazy teenager. This is a boy who is loyal to the end and true to his friends beyond reason. He gives good advice though he seldom follows it himself. Hes clever but doesnt apply himself. And he misses his dad more than hell ever admit.
All his life, Harry Potter had been his idol. When Harry was murdered at the end of James fifth year, everything changed. Though it had always been mildly irritating to be compared to his great father on a daily basis, now it has become a sad reminder of everything he lost. Harry was truly a dad that the Potter children revered. He was smart, brave, everything a true Gryffindor ought to be. Shortly before his death, James and Harry had been getting along increasingly worse. James rebellious side irritated his father who often insisted he stop smoking. James resisted on the grounds of its my body and Ill do to it what I like. It was only after his death that the oldest Potter child realized how much hed really miss his dad.
Now hes sixteen: nearly an adult. Hes realized that the time of peace hed come to know was not permanent and in fact, is very delicate. This worries him more than anything, and hes now entered what his mum calls a period of mourning, his brother calls a period of angst, and his friends call a period of planning. James smokes a lot. James drinks a lot. James sits by himself and thinks a lot. Whats he planning? Less like revenge and more like protection. Hes painfully aware that his sister, his mum, his brother or even he himself could be the next person killed. Its only a matter of time before war starts again. James will not just sit by and watch.

Living the teenage dream,
Harry Potter is nothing if not a legend. When he was eleven years old there wasn't a child in the magical world he didn't know about who didn'tt know who he was. As the only known survivor of the killing curse and the conqueror of Lord Voldemort, the darkest wizard to ever live, he was a great symbol of hope for the entire magical world. For a more in depth understanding of James' father, it is probably best to refer to J.K Rowling. She does a better job of recounting it anyway.
This in mind, it is understandable that when James was born, he had big shoes to fill. June 17th 2005, James Sirius Potter became the first child born to the infamous Potters. Despite their standing, James managed to grow up fairly normal. Less than a year after he was born, his brother, Albus Severus Potter, became the second Potter child. One year later, the set was complete with the youngest: Lily Luna. Two younger siblings meant that by the time James was about three and a half years old, he had somebody to tease and harass constantly. James epitomized the older siblings stereotype: he managed to pull just about every prank in the book on his siblings by the time he was seven. Was Albus was six years old he'd developed a tendency to automatically check that no one had pulled his chair out from under him before he sat down. It was all in good humor though; James truthfully loves his family more than anything.
On his eighth birthday, his parents bought him a junior broom, and James spent the entire day trying to work out the mechanics of it. Considering at the time he was still knee-high to a grasshopper, he had a hard time getting his little legs to kick off the ground. His first experience with Quidditch was around this time. A day after having gotten his broom he'd figured out how to get himself up into the air and he spent the afternoon flying: much to his mother's dismay when she came outside to find him soaring about the treetops. Ginny was shocked, Harry was proud. In fact, without Harry's push, James may never really have realized how much he loved Quidditch. The Weasley Potter clan was large and there were numerous cousins all around the same age. Harry and Ron orchestrated a small scale Quidditch tournament where many of the kids were flying on brooms to big for them but they all had a lot of fun.
That mentioned, the Potter/Weasley family was very close and they spent a lot of time together. Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione were like a second set of parents to Harry and Ginny's kids. Large family meals were frequent because for Harry who'd grown up without a family, he felt it was important for his kids to really feel connected and close with theirs. This is something that they'd always taken for granted. James had grandma and grandpa Weasley who he saw frequently along with his cousins (there are a lot of them), Uncle Neville's kids, Aunt Luna's kids, and Teddy who would often live with the Potters for extended periods of time.
When James was eleven years old, much as anticipated, he got his Hogwarts letter. From there, shenanigans ensued. The Hogwarts experience from first to fifth year could be summed up in the phrase That'll be a detention, Mr. Potter. By the time he was entering his sixth year, he'd far surpassed any other person in the History of Hogwarts in number of detentions with a whopping 73. At eighty, however, they told him he would be expelled. James walks a fine line at Hogwarts between acting like and idiot and trying not to lose his spot in school.
At the end of his fifth year, he and his siblings came home on the Hogwarts express excited to meet their parents. Al had been appointed prefect and James would be the Gryffindor Quidditch captain the upcoming year. Ginny picked them up and told them that Harry had gotten caught up at the office. It was not unusual for this to happen. James ran through the door as soon as they got home excited to tell his dad all about his new position, but he never got a chance to. Harry Potter, the boy who lived, lay dead on their kitchen floor. The first thing James did was to leave the house, sit on a corner, and light a cigarette. He smoked and he thought, and he thought about how none of them were safe. Not mum, not Aunt Hermione, not Uncle Ron, not Albus or Lily or even himself. It was that summer that James dug through the old photo albums. Order of the Phoenix, he thought to himself Maybe that's what we need.
