Max found himself in the courtyard looking up at the sky. The clouds were partially scattered throughout the color blue. Reminiscing though his actions earlier in the week Max started to chew the inside of his cheek. It had been quite eventful and most of his actions were positive taking his mind away from any depression he endured. The sound of students laughter and conversations filled the area, the courtyard was always a good place to hang out. Yet when he got scratched he roamed the outskirts more frequently. Just thinking to himself and coping with his thoughts. It prevented him from getting anxious. Max tucked his hands behind his head and brought one knee up. The spring brought change. There were so many things that had changed from first year in general. The different holidays. Max never knew about England and it's holidays, being from New York, he was quite different and used to American traditions. Then there was interaction with others. Max was always social, he just wasn't always nice as he was these days. The boy used to be full of rage and hard to talk to. Next came puberty and with that came interest in girls. Max smirked at his thoughts. There was one in particular he had taken a liking to but he wouldn't mention names, not even among his chats with his male friends.
Yup things defiantly had changed and now he was sprawled out in the courtyard wondering his next move. Where was all the excitement? He wanted to go on an adventure of sorts but he needed good company. Max sat up and his blue eyes skimmed over some of the other students in his surroundings. Unsure of who he would interact with he decided against it and remained sitting there. Why was it he was always the one to go searching for someone. It was just about time for someone to crash into Maxwell Krum. Friendship worked both ways, or it was just his moody nature getting the best of him. Sighing he thought of who he could handle being around. The full moon was a couple weeks away, so he wasn't sure why he was so down. It was bull, he needed something to make his way brighter. Max got to his feet walking around the grounds. His hands were tucked into his pockets. Max wondered aimlessly into the stone circle, his blue eyes soon were locked with with Adrian Harman. Smirking he walked over sneaking up on her. Max placed his hands over her eyes, standing behind her. "You'll nevah guess who this is, but I can tell you a little secret. You've been missing me like crazy, and I'm here to intrude on your day dollface." Max said in his New York accent, spinning the smaller girl around, greeting her with a smirk. Well this was a good way to start the afternoon. TAG;; Adrian Harman WORD COUNT;;471 CREDIT;;Krys !NOTES;;It's crap but it's a start.

Adrian had been wandering, not surprising in particular. Today she was fascinated by the spring time changes, her wide blue eyes taking everything in with almost childlike curiosity. She was in potion ingredient wonderland, trying to figure the differentials of using fresh ingredients and dried ones, fantasizing about making something ultra potent. She noted the clear sky, the temperature, the humidity level, the sharp colors of spring making her smile irrationally. Her fingers wandered over flower petals and grass and then over the stones of the circle. She was finishing her loop when someone came up behind her, making her jump much to her chagrin.
She laughed when she heard the voice, shocking her out of her fantasy, and made no move to move his hands, grinning when he spun her around. She threw her hand to her forehead like she had suddenly remembered something. "Oh, of course, how on Earth did ya know that my day would have been completely," she sliced her hand for emphasis, "utterly made by seeing your pretty face?" She threw her arms around him for a big hug, giving off warm, happy vibes, sensing immediately his unsettled undercurrent of emotion. She had missed Max, she realized it had been ages since she had seen him and she was very glad. It made her a little uneasy to realize how much she had missed causing trouble with him.

It had been a beautiful day. Max wasn't quite sure where the day would take him, nor what adventure he'd run head on into, but he did know he now had the greatest company. Max and Adrian had become friends in the past. It was very rare for someone like Max to trust a female after what happened to him, but there was something about Adrian that made it okay. Perhaps it was the fact she trusted him as well, and he could spend hours saying weird things and she wouldn't look at him differently. Or maybe it was the fact she knew his darkest secret and accepted him for the monster he was. What ever the case may have been, he did care deeply for his friend, and the fact she was pretty was a hidden bonus.
After hearing her words, he smirked at her going along with his egotistical comment. Max was arrogant at times but mostly in humor. Unless he was looking at himself in the mirror, then he'd have a field day complimenting himself. At times he wondered if he was a but obnoxious, but he blamed his mother for passing down the veela gene. Wrapping his arms around her figure he looked down into her eyes. "I have not a clue how I knew such a thing, maybe I'm not only a monster, I'm a seer with vision and prophecy." Max stated shrugging lightly. Of course he knew he wasn't a seer, but it sounded right so he went with it. Max actually hated divination so he wasn't sure why he ramble that out. Max looked down at the grass spot where she had been sitting and he quirked an eyebrow. "So you ready to find something to do with me? I mean you could always sit here and play with the flowers, but I vow to show you a better time then they ever could." Max mused looking around. He had stashed some alcohol in the forest, if she was feeling daring but then again they could always be sober. That was always an option, Max didn't remember the last time he drank, Merlin was it that long ago? "I stashed some whiskey, and the forest always proves to be a place full of fun and danger, if your down for the rush." Max suggested. The boy was clearly bipolar, and his impulse was peeking, but he knew if anyone could handle his restless behavior, it was Adrian.

Adrian grinned widely as she pulled away from him. "A seer?" She pursed her lips as he continued, her face mockingly serious, as her mind flashed the word monster at her, her expression became more serious, eyebrows furrowing downwards. She disliked when he put himself down, as she always liked what she saw in him. His condition as she called it was an after thought. A large part of that was simply her youth, that she firmly believed nothing could really hurt her.
Her mind came back into the present moment when he mentioned whiskey, forest, danger, and fun in the same sentence. She let out a short burst of laughter, her head tilting back with it, and when she looked back at him she put her hand on his arm to steady herself. She held up the same hand as she collected herself. "First, don't knock my flowers. Throw a few together and I'd have a potion that'd knock you flat out." She flashed a quick, feral grin. "Second, was that even a freaking question?! Of course I want to go on an adventure with you. You sure know how to hook a girl," she teased him as she looped her arm through his and turned them to the forest. She felt vibrant, very alive, all her nerves humming, especially where she was touching Max.
She looked up at him, smiling more softly. "What's with the monster bit? We have had this conversation before I think." She raised her eyebrows at him to bely her words. She wanted to keep things moving and she sensed the same sort of impulsive urgency in him, but she couldn't let that go without regretting not speaking up later.

The look in Adrian's eyes, when he lightly joked about being a seer, made him realize, he had forgotten her dislike to his word choice of referring to himself as a monster. Max couldn't really picture himself as normal anymore. Waking up in the forbidden forest, stark naked, with the blood of a creature on you counted as monstrous to him. It was who he became that night of the month that he disliked. The fear of hurting someone he loved, or worst. Max was always distancing himself the week before change. He didn't want anyone to catch wrath of his temperamental nature, nor did he want to be moody around those he cared about. Adrian never seemed to treat him differently, even when she learned what he was, and for that he was always loyal to her. Max had a huge group of friends, but only few knew about the creature that lurked inside his chest. The ones he trusted and loved dearly, like Adrian.
After suggesting the game plan he smirked at her words. He knew she was a potion maker, but never really experimented too much. It was bad enough he needed to consume the bloody Wolfsbane potion, let alone try one of those ones that made little Adrian loopy. Max smirked at the thought, he'd try anything twice. "Then maybe you'll have to show me someday, I think it would be interesting seeing the world in a different view, then I won't knock on em. Til then Darlin' I'm going to kidnap you." Max reassured with a cocky grin. Impulse was a bitch, one he loved. Completely reckless without morals and only fun. If he could live like that forever he would. At her second words he smirked and looped arms with her. "I knew you'd see things my way." Max stated as the two walked toward the forbidden forest. A second home it had become to him, always lurking knowing every rock and tree that made up the forest.
Sighing he ruffled his dark hair with his free hand. "You know how I feel about it Adri, I'm not going to change over night. You know I think of it like this, you see those poor Greyback kids, they have to live with the reputation and get bullied for it, and it's serious. I try to make a joke out of it because I don't want to think of it seriously. What do you call it when you have flashes to hurt people that piss you off, or you wake up with no memory and a corps, of who-knows-what beside you? A monster, point blank, that's who I am." Max explained walking forward. If it were anyone else, he'd probably snap and get lost and consumed in his own feelings. Entering the forest he looked down at her. "Look I'm sorry. I'll try harder, I don't want to waste a good day dwelling in the miseries that I can't change." Max stated putting his arm around her small shoulders. "Plus your one of the things that makes my day brightah, when I'm upset about it. I honestly don't know if I'd still have my huge ego in tact if you were not my partner in crime." Max stated, she was more then that, his best friend and the girl he had a hell of a crush on. So risky and free.
Where he was taking her was where he usually spent his nights as a werewolf. Max could escape and sleep in that form, going undetected most of the time. As they came to a small cave opening deeper in the forest he smirked looking down at Adrian. "You coming? The bottle is in here, may be a little dusty and don't mind the cobwebs. I think they add as a lovely homey feature." Max teased moving the bush of leaves out of the way. He'd let her enter first knowing it was safe inside, and he could protect from the rare end.
