Eveline ran her hands over the pictures and sighed. She was missing home at the moment. It was one of those days where she’d rather be with her family than with her friends. The girl had a bottle of butterbeer in her hand and her head bobbed to a tune in her head. She wasn’t in a depressive state, she was in a nostalgic attitude. She took a sip and shuffled through the pictures before finding one that made her laugh. Her family wasn’t all that bad. Yeah her father’s side was known for being Death Eaters, but her parents never acted stuck up and into that sort of life. They never took Eve from a muggle or told her certain people were not worth being around. They left the world open to Eveline and she was taking advantage of it. She ran a hand through her red curls. Why was she being so lonely?
The dorm room was completely empty. All her roommates were out doing their thing and although she was invited in the fun, Eveline could only handle so much. Eve shifted from one photo to the other and shook her head. It showed her brothers fighting over a miniature racing broom. It was adorable. She guessed she was about two or three at the time, something she would have never remember. She took another sip and kept on going. She came upon another picture. One of her and her “little brother”. Yeah, she had a little brother, but this one wasn’t blood. He just happened upon her life and Eveline kept him in her life. What was he up to anyways? Eveline picked up her head and looked around, a thoughtful mask on her face. He wouldn’t have been in her dorm, but she expected him to be around.
She pushed herself up and grabbed the case of butterbeer she snatched from the kitchens and her albums. She was going to go bug Albus Potter, her “little brother”. The girl pulled on her fuzzy boots and left her dorm carrying her stuff to the stairs. She had to find the one for the sixth years but in no time she had the door open. Problem, a spell wouldn’t let the girl on in. “Albus!” she held up the case and some books knowing he’d like going through the books and not knowing they were albums. “I’m lonely.” She pouted at him and leaned against the door frame. She didn’t even check if there were other people in the dorm when she opened the door.

It was one of those nights where Al would just tutor a couple of the younger students. Albus wasn't like most Syltherin student selfish or sly, yet he was quite cleaver. It was merely his luck to be placed in this house. If Al had hit his way he would be a Ravenclaw. It was later in the night and after settling down he got out his own books for homework. Aqua eyes skimmed over the clock and he had a straight two hours of learning before he had to break and tutor. Albus went through all his studies in a matter of an hour and with time to spear he started to read his pleasure reading novel. The boy never liked movies and what not, reading brought out his imagination. Even if James and Ben thought he was and odd boy for reading so much. A smirk appeared on his lips as his aqua eyes skimmed the pages. At the end of the chapter he marked his page and took in a second to take in the literature. Al must have looked foolish sitting there with a sheepish grin so he snapped himself from it and pushed himself off his bed.
The boy wore his black plaid pajama pants with his jumper. Al kicked on his slippers before making his way to his tutoring session help a couple dorms down. A quick knock at the door and he was looking at two twin boys awaiting to be dazzled. Albus was confident in all the skills he possessed. Maybe he'd let it get to his head at times, but he couldn't be completely normal. What the heck was normal? He shall never know. He looked at the herbology book and smiled opening it to the lesson and began to lecture about mandrake root. After defining a few plants he was wide awake but these boys looked like that had enough lecturing for the past hour. Albus cleared his throat and smiled. "Great job guys, get some rest now." Albus whispered with a genuine smile. He watched the two get in their beds then exited the room. Albus was wide awake, he'd go back to his own dorm and try to catch up on his studies.
Once there he pulled out his books as scattered them across his bed. Wanting to be comfortable he stood up removing his jumper, now in a t shirt. Albus sat on his bed readying himself for some studying. Soon enough he was going through his notes for the up coming exam. Albus was always one to take learning seriously, due to his need to acquire knowledge. After an hour he head a female's voice at his dormitory door, he blushed at the thought. Albus knew exactly who it was. At the door opening up he watched the red head, she gestured holding some butter beer and some books? What kind? Albus got to his feet and walked over to the door frame, males were not allowed in females dorms but there was nothing stopping her from joining him. Albus took the girl's hand and lead her in the room to his working station. "Sorry a bit of lite studying." Albus claimed moving his books making room for Eveline. "Well if your lonely, the feeling should fade. What's the game plan? By the look of it, you have our night mapped out." Albus stated looking at the items she held.

Eveline’s pout lips turned into a large grin when Albus came over and grabbed her hand. The red head followed without a fuss, her eyes roaming around the room. Didn’t look any different from the last time Evie spent some time here. No, she wasn’t a slut. She just got along with the boys, mainly Albus. They were quite the pair sort of in the same boat. She was odd to Slytherin and so was he. Eveline normally showed up to bug Albus in some way, even though the only real way to bug Albus was to flirt with him, but she was in no mood to bug him. She was more looking to relax and enjoy some time with him. The girl looked at his bed and giggled. Well that wasn’t a big surprise. She knew him well enough to have suspected this. No big surprise, which made her shoulders slouch and let her enter a feeling of security.
“A bit of?” The red head shook her head dropping his hand and picking up some of his stuff. “Bloody boring if you asked me. But you didn’t, I know.” She put the book to the side before sitting down. She popped open a new bottle and took a drink. She tilted her head and looked at Albus before realizing what she was carrying. “Oh right!” she grinned taking in another drink. She set the rest of the bottles on the floor after offering one to Albus and set the books she cradled under her arm on her lap. “They are photo albums Alby.” In all honesty she didn’t have much planned, just other than them looking through some candids she managed to get her hands on. That and some others that happened on purpose. Of course, they were wizard photos but a few others were laced on the some of the pages.
Eveline opened up the first one and scooted more onto the bed. She patted the space next to her for Albus. “This one if filled of us. Or mainly me acting silly and you photo bombing me at certain points.” She laughed a bit and took another sip of her butterbeer. She handed that book to him before motioning to another, “This one is of my family. The ones who hate and adore you.” She smiled at him and opened it up. Her parents had no problem with her friendship with a Potter. It was her grandparents who forbade it. If she wanted Albus over, her grandparents ended up nowhere in sight. It was a sad thing, but they had their thoughts and Eveline being like her parents, could care less. Albus was one of those people who you could risk something for and it end up being the right choice.

Albus had been friends with Evie for a couple years now. She always came a visited him and he could be logical and talk to her about anything. The thing that was different about her compared to most people, was the fact she understood him. Every mood swing, what triggered them, how to handle them, even how to help sooth him after an episode. Albus always handled things on his own, but it was nice to just have someone that truly understood him. Over time this bonded them, and he liked the feeling of have a pretty friend in his house. There was no doubt she was beautiful in his mind, but even with her occasional flirt toward him he learned to try to wipe it off. Albus even opened up and did it back once in a while for the hell of it. He liked the fact he didn't have to meet these huge expectations to be her friend. Albus was comfortable being himself, which was special.
When Eveline spoke of his studies he blushed a bit. It was typical for Albus Potter, to be studying like the ambitious soul he was. Albus had many dreams and if he wanted to accomplish them he needed to have a lot of wisdom. Boring? Albus quirked an eyebrow and licked his lips crossing his arms over his chest. "Boring? Studying is not boring it's actually very fun when you have the motivation getting straight O's." Albus explained, he must have been a bit dull in her mind, unlike his brother. Albus had always been the reserved one who enjoyed reading. He wasn't one to play sports and he could hardly understand the point of partying. Al was actually a bit socially awkward so that didn't help much either.
His aqua eyes glanced down at what she had been holding and he smiled at her photo albums. Albus had made a few as well, and scrap books to remind him of his friends when he was sent away to the hospital. There was always a reminder of what you had been missing when away from Hogwarts. Albus shifted making room for her on his bed. If she were any other girl he may have shuttered at the thought of a female so close to his sleeping space. Albus chuckled about her comment about photo bombing. He was pretty shy and never liked any angles of himself in pictures. He always thought he looked silly, and he didn't like taking photos because of that. He took the book and skimmed through the pages. They were younger in some of these. "Oh, Look here, before you got boobs, and I grew facial hair." Albus said skimming over the pages. He looked at her family pictures and knew why she was very attractive. She got it from her mother. At least from what he could see. Albus smiled, a pureblood he had been friends with over time. Albus' parents were never skeptical of who he became friends with, they trust his decisions. "Well we must plan a day to take more and make a new one I suppose, those are a bit out of date." Albus said. It would be nice to mess around with the camera and be a git for one day. "How have you been though, I haven't seen you around much, have you been avoiding me?" Albus asked quirking a brow. He just wanted answers, he missed spending time with Evie.
