What was going on with him? Jason couldn't begin to comprehend where the hell his motivation was recently. He had got cast away from his qudditch practice this afternoon for getting into a physical confrontation with one of his teammates. Jason was sure if no one was around things could have gotten brutal, but the lack of seclusion faulted his plot. James sent him away, told him to really think about his attitude and how he had been acting the past couple months toward the sport. A lack of feeling for the sport he once loved so much, was highly unlike Jason, and maybe he did need to really start thinking about his priorities. It was too hard, it was hard to even look at his twin sister, hard to want to get up during the day light, hard to show enthusiasm toward anything. Jason had spent some times with his mother in Hogsmeade recently and he wasn't himself then either. All he could think about was his blood lust, and satisfying his thirst. Coraline helped him, she really did but he found himself running wild, and straying away from the girl he loved as well. It wasn't that he didn't care, it was his lack of happiness in life. Jason's humanity seemed to be withering away, his heart no longer felt right. The thought of hurting others appealed, he wanted to enjoy the suffering, because his soul was now so twisted.
Jason stormed the grounds in his quidditch uniform, he needed to feed. The sun was bothering him, everything was so messed up. When he turned he was warned, about all this, she promised she wouldn't let him detach from who he was, and Coraline couldn't even control this monster. The last night they actually feed together, he gave her his purity, because he loved her, and trusted her with all he was. Jason could remember each movement, and feeling that went through his body, and after the fact he found himself more emotional. This heightened emotion nonsense was just as bad as the blood lust. Jason would give anything to feel normal again, but this wasn't the case, it couldn't be. Wood was on a path of destruction, and wouldn't allow anyone or anything to get in his way. His priorities were messed up as well, after losing his virginity he didn't even ask his sweet, to be with him as more then friends. Jason wanted to be her boyfriend, not just her sire. Alas, he didn't ask and he did regret. How did he screw up a perfectly good chance, well he had been doing a lot of that lately, and it was about to get worst.
Golden orbs locked on a girl in the distance, he knew this one. One that had toyed with him in the past, a devilish smile toyed on his lips, as he walked over playing off his happy go lucky attitude, after a walk to a more abandoned setting, he felt a urge of seduction surface in his body. Not the kind that he and Coraline had, a lust for pain that would bring him pleasure. The promiscuous vampire nature kicked in, and he found himself being a bit flirty, giving this girl all types of attention. Compliments were his lure, and he took her to the forest. Jason bit his bottom lip, at the sound of her vain pulsing in her neck, his eyes locked on it. "Ye wont remember any of this, and ye will not scream." Jason told her looking into her blue eyes deeply, compelling her to silence as he his fangs surfaced and his eyes went black. Jason bit into her soft skin, sucking. The metallic taste had him wanting more, and more. Jason could feel her life being drained away, she was growing pale, but he couldn't stop. The satisfaction had a hold on him.
The human blood was much more satisfying then the animal blood he had been subjected to diet on. A noise in the distance caused him to stop, and he hissed a bit. "Wrap this around yer neck and go back to the castle and rest." Jason told the girl, handing her a handkerchief. He then watched her walk out of the forest, quite calmly. Jason put his sun glasses on, what could have happened didn't, and he found his emotions stirred up. The remorse was strong, he felt bad for what he did. Monster, he didn't know what to do. He could have killed that girl. Jason felt horrible, he felt his eyes drop tears of pain, and he was in shock of what he just did. The fact the girl had toyed with him in the past, had him toy with her life. This was almost cruel, Jason used his vampire agility to climb a tree. Resting on a branch about fifteen feet from the ground he got comfortable. The boy let one leg dangle from the branch, and he pulled one to his chest. The scent of his creator was close, had she seen the girl? Would she be furious with him? Jason felt his stomach nod up, as he looked down below for Coraline. Perhaps she wouldn't notice him, and he could hide from this almost fatal mistake. Somewhere he was angry, and somewhere he was hurt. The tears were there, and the guilt consumed him. What was left of him, at least. Tagged: Coraline D'eath Words: 909 Note: More forbidden love Credits: Shawn!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Being a vampire was not an easy task. Most people thought it was glamorous and appealing; to never have to want for things because you could make anyone bend to your every whim, or the fact that you had great strength and senses, but there was so much more to it than that, than what the movies of today have glorified what being a vampire is all about. There was a hunger, a thirst, that was rarely quenched, and, with that, came the need and desire to feed and kill; there was a loss of humanity as well as a certain level of allergy to the sun that made being up during the day, even with the ring given to the students that still needed to be up during the day, hell. Over time, and with extensive practice, one could get used to it, but, eventually, it can be enough to make one go mad.
Coralline, thankfully, has learned to deal with it and has managed to cope with it fairly well. It wasn’t easy at times, and it made her work harder and discipline herself more, to make sure she didn’t lose herself and go into a blind rage. It took a lot most of the time, if only because there were plenty of people, at Hogwarts especially, that she wanted to just devour like a fat kid devours a chocolate cake. She wasn’t really one for enemies and being at odds with people, but she was sure there were plenty of people that disliked her because of who she was, or wasn’t, and the fact that she was dating Jason Wood, when she knew plenty of girls would prefer to keep him to themselves so that they could continue to toy with his mind and his emotions like he was nothing more than a puppet.
Speaking of Jason, coralline had noticed that she hasn’t seen him around much lately, nowhere near as much as she would like since their last encounter in the forest. That had been a very fun-filled evening and she could still feel his bare skin on hers, something she was sure was part of the bond between them since she was his sire. It bothered her that she didn’t see him often, as if he was back to avoiding her once more, and it was actually started to get on her nerves. She knew he was going through changes and that he wanted to keep his distance from people, she’s been through it before, but the fact that he was pushing her away, again, bothered her. Didn’t he realize that she was one of the few people who could actually help him get through this, and make it easier for him? Why did he think pushing her away was a good idea? She had no idea, but it was something she had decided to bring up and not let stir any longer.
Coralline rose from her bed and pulled on a pair of flats that matched her outfit and then began to make her way out of the Slytherin Common Room. She didn’t know exactly where Jason was, but she was sure that she’d be able to sniff him out. It was one of the cool tricks that a vampire could do, though it was the strongest when they were looking for the one they sired. Once she entered the dungeons, she began to make her way up to the main level of the castle. Was she to go upstairs to the Gryffindor common room, or did she have to go outside to find him. She stopped and drew in a deep breath, locating his scent on the grounds of the school. She exited the castle and then took another deep breath to pinpoint his location. The scent she got was coming from the forbidden forest so that was where she began to head.
As she drew closer to the forest, a figure came out towards her. Coralline could smell the fresh scent of blood and she raised an eyebrow as the figure got closer and became the form of a female. Coralline recognized her as one of the girls that used to toy with Jason, one that would love to push coralline out of the way so that she could have him once again, and then her eyes dropped to the handkerchief around her neck. That isn’t her usual costume, she thought to herself as she watched the girl walk past her in what seemed like a trance. Coralline then realized what had happened to that girl and she returned her gaze to the forest and began walking again. “Jason?” she said softly as she crossed the tree line and entered the forest, her steps silent and her senses astute to the sounds and smells of the forest. “I know you’re here, Jason. Come out, please,” she said, knowing that he was close by.

When it came to being a vampire the one thing he lacked was self control. It was terrifying to think of all he could have done. What if he hurt someone he cared about, like one of his parents or sisters. Werewolves were not the only temperamental species, but he could see some similarities. Jason stayed clear out of the forest on the full moon nights, Cora told him that one bite to end him. It was odd to think it only worked one way, but so be it. Jason wasn't stupid, as gullible as he may have seemed at times. What had just occurred was not alright, it had his emotions running all over the place. It seemed so right at the time, he wanted revenge, the sweet taste of human blood and a way to stab back at his heart ache of a past. Jason hadn't intended for it to become uncontrollable. Jason was aware it could have happened, Coraline told him. Yet he didn't listen, it was also something he didn't want on his conscious. He could never look that female in the eyes again, without thinking of what he had done. Jason felt the guilt peek, and he wasn't sure how to handle things.
Ashamed of his doing, he climbed up a tree. As he was well aware he hadn't been caught but that didn't mean he wanted to be seen. As cocky as he was at times, he could admit a wrong and surely the fact he was crying spoke for that. Jason hadn't remembered the last times tears left his eyes. It hadn't been recently, probably the last time he was human. Jason had teared up, when giving his girlfriend the reasons he wanted to become like her. Now he was unsure where his feeling were. Jason knew he loved her, and he'd do anything to see her smile. But avoiding her, and distancing himself he was hurting. He knew he was hurting his beautiful brunette of a girlfriend as well. Jason promised he wouldn't mess up like her last lover. But what had he been doing? Now it all seemed like a mistake, one big irreversible mistake. Not that he loved Coraline because that wasn't the issue. The fact he was pushing away everything he loved, and becoming barely human. She could feel without getting over whelmed, she had control of her emotions. Why didn't he? Jason guessed she had been a vampire for a while, and maybe she didn't avoid her sire.
This was all his fault, and her words caused him to freeze. Jason stayed still for a moment contemplating if he needed to just be with her. She'd be mad, but he needed to know this was normal. If his inner monster was somewhat controllable. Again she beckoned, and he remained in the tree. How to face her, honesty was best. Jason sighed, he wiped his tears away and decided he had to talk to her. He couldn't keep a secret this big from his lover. Jason jumped down, landing so her back was facing him. Jason straightened himself out. "Cora, here I am." he announced his tone flat and filled with guilt. Jason turned to face her, he still had blood smeared on some parks of his mouth as he inched closer to her. "Before you yell at me, understand I lost control. I don't even know why I did it in the first place." Jason admitted looking down, ashamed. He ran his fingers through his hair, the last time he had been in the forest with her everything was much different. He was caught up in a moment of passion, and ecstasy. How he was just guilty, waiting to be scolded. There was nothing like the feeling of disappointing a loved one. Tagged: Coraline D'eath Words: 635 Note: More forbidden love Credits: Shawn!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -When Coraline called out for Jason, she knew where he was, but she didn't want to force him to come to her. She wanted him to come out on his own, on his own terms, so all she said was that she knew he was there and, once again, asked him to reveal himself. She waited for a moment or two to see if he would respond or show himself before she made any attempts to seek him out, which really would have just consisted of her jumping up really high and joining him on the tree above her head. She was sure he'd rather do it on his own terms too, instead of her finding him with ease.
When he finally revealed himself to her, he had jumped down from the tree and landed behind her. She noticed that his voice sounded devoid of his usual pep and that only strengthened her idea that he wasn't in a good place right now. She couldn’t help but frown, but she made sure to do so before she faced him. When she did face him, she noticed that there was blood smeared on his face and she was certain it had come from the girl she had passed not long before she had entered the forest. Before she could say anything, he spoke.
She frowned at him when he commented on the fact that he expected her to yell at him. Was she that bad? She didn't think she was, but the way he seemed to expect her to chastise him made her rethink that, though she wasn't sure she wanted to ask him. Sometimes the truth could hurt, especially when it came from someone that was very close to the person seeking the truth. That was why they sometimes said that 'the truth hurt', because it had a way of showing people the things they have always been blind to, or have been ignorant to for however long.
"I wasn't going to yell at you," she said in a flat tone. She sounded annoyed even though she wasn't, but she couldn't help it now. "And it's okay. We all lose control every now and again. I'd say it's because we're only human, but we aren't really, are we?" she said with a smirk, though she wasn't so sure that would help the matter any. "Are you all right, love? You seem… distracted," she said, though she could have used a better word than distracted to describe how she thought he was feeling right now.
"And I bet I could tell you why you did it," she said as an afterthought, thinking back to the girl she saw leaving the forest before she arrived. She didn't elaborate, but she was sure Jason could figure it out. It was natural to want revenge on those who've hurt you in the past, especially once you're in a position to extract it with ease. Power had a way of taking hold of people like that, and becoming a vampire or a werewolf was no different in that respect.

When Jason was up on the tree he was sure Coraline would know exactly where he was, he could hear her breaths so he was sure she could locate his. If his heart could beat he was sure it would be thudding in his chest right about now. Jason had been terrified about what he had just done, and now he had to face his maker. Jason had mixed emotions as of right now, it felt right what he had done, but when he lost control his whole view changed. The taste of human blood was still on his lips, so sweet compared to what he was used to. Jason had tried to tell himself it hadn't happened, he had tried to make up every excuse in the world for his actions, but truth be told he fucked up. He had taken a moment before joining her one the ground because he was afraid he'd disappoint her, like he did his own sister. Jason's ego wasn't doing the greatest, he let down his sister, his captain, his team and now to top it all off the one girl who never judged him? Jason was glad she didn't force him to come out, and let him do it on his own will. When he did join her, it took him a moment to search for something to break the silence.
Jason had expected Coraline to be very angry with him, and when she had made it clear she wasn't going to yell at him he ruffled his hair and listened to her. Her humor may have been funny if he hadn't almost just killed a girl, Jace have a slack smile. He wasn't sure how to be happy or take what he just did as a joke. Humans made mistakes, but nothing like this. He liked the fact she wasn't too crossed with him but he wasn't sure if she knew what had just happened. Jason wasn't too sure he knew how to explain, his lust for blood. He was sure she had went through it before as well, but this was new for him. Just a little sip turned into so much more. Jason almost didn't understand how it could have been worst, but he guessed stopped himself he did show a tiny bit of control. At her question he shoved his hands into his pockets and moved a little closer to her. Jason felt distant from himself, the last thing he needed was physical space between him and the girl he loved. Jason looked into her eyes, his held a hurt expression. "I'm not distracted. I'm disappointed. Cora, I couldn't stop myself there for a second. My whole existence is this complex mess of emotions. I can't control them, I can't control myself." Jason admitted, he looked away for a moment in weakness. If anyone had witnessed him cry before it was her, but he knew his uncontrollable emotions would take pain, and it would turn into hysteria.
Jason let his eyes settle back upon her, and he placed his hand on her cheek. "I don't know what happened to the boy you love. I've lost interest in everything I once care for." Of course he didn't mean Coraline, but that other girl threw his head for a spin. Jason wasn't sure if he was attracted to her, or attracted to the thought of hurting her, like she had done him in the past. Jason shrugged when she said she could him why he had done it. Jason knew why he done it, well at least what his motives were. He wasn't sure what he explanation would be, but she could see he was hurting. See the lost of happiness in his soul, she had to come up with some reason. "Sure, enlighten me oh great one." Jason said sarcastically. He wasn't sure where that just came from, but he didn't really care. Jace wasn't in the mood to be emotional anymore. He needed reasons, he needed to know why he hated who he was becoming. Jason felt like a monster, he wasn't used to feeling like his world wasn't spinning anymore. Everyone had their ups and downs, but he was low as they came. Jace didn't know what to feel anymore, and if he did feel anything it was out of control. Tagged: Coraline D'eath Words: 724 Note: More forbidden love Credits: Shawn!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -When Coraline set out to find Jason that night, she hadn't expected to find him up in a tree and in a strange state. She also hadn't expected to see a girl walking back from the forest with a handkerchief on her neck to cover a fresh wound that he had apparently inflicted upon her. She had explained to him that they couldn't attack humans, and she had thought he understood that. If the vampires that were allowed to remain at Hogwarts started attacking the students, then they would be forced to leave the school and, even possibly, hunted like the animals that they could be. It was the same with the werewolves that were at Hogwarts, she was sure, and she didn't doubt that the Headmaster would kick them all out if they started attacking students and, even possibly, turning them into the monsters that they have become. Truth be told, Coraline was surprised she hadn't been kicked out for turning Jason, but that was almost a year ago now, so she believed she was in the clear.
When he finally revealed himself, he made it seem like he expected her to yell at him, which actually bothered her more than she expected it to, though she calmly told him that she wasn't going to yell at him. She explained that they lost control every now and again, and that it was normal for a vampire, and probably a werewolf too, to do that. As long as they kept themselves in control most of the time, and didn't have any casualties, Coraline was sure that they would be just fine. And with Jason being so new in comparison to the rest of Coraline's family, with the exception of her newest sister Annalise, who was only bitten within the last year as well, it was expected for him to lose control. She wondered what he expected when she turned him, and if he thought he would have total control over his urges and abilities right away. She wasn't sure how to talk to him about it though, since she didn't want to start a fight over something that clearly had him worked up already.
When she told him she thought he seemed distracted, he corrected her and told her that he was disappointed. She frowned slightly as she listened to him tell her why and she could recall those same feelings form when she had first been turned into a vampire. "And it happens to us all, Jason," she said soothingly, hoping to help him understand that this was a natural part of the transformation and the new world he now lived in. "Even the oldest of vampires lose control every now and again. I know it bothers you that you have done so, but it is natural, and it will more than likely happen again," she told him quietly. "Trust me, I know," she said, hoping he'd realize what she meant by that. She too has walked this very same path, so she understood exactly where he was coming from, and why he felt the way he did. She wasn't sure if he wanted to hear any of this, but she hoped he would at least listen to her anyway.
When he had told her that he didn't know why he had done what he did to that girl, Coraline had said she could make a pretty good guess. She had been trying to lighten up the mood a bit, to help try and make him feel better about it, but it didn't seem to work. He had even gone as far as to ask her sarcastically, calling her the great one, which bothered her a great deal. If he had been anyone else, she would have slapped him clear across the face for that, especially since it wasn't deserved or asked for. "Never mind, I'll keep it to myself," she snapped back, not caring if her words hurt him. He obviously didn't seem to care if he hurt her, so why should she walk on egg shells for him? "And the boy I love is still there, you just have to find a balance," she told him her words not as standoffish as they had been a moment ago. "And I will help you, if you let me," she told him.
