Lucy sat there in the Hufflepuff Common Room just sitting with nothing really to do. Heck she didn't even have anyone to talk to at all since it was practically a very nice day and everyone was outside doing one thing or another. And at that point though she had homework that she had to so she stayed behind. Heck she had no idea why she chose to stay behind. Well it was quiet for one. Except for all the first years whom she had scared out of the Common Room that was for sure. She didn't mean to scare them away but yet she had.
She normally wouldn't do that. But today she really had to get the homework done. Since a lot of it was due in two days. And yet she got it all done which made her quite happy to have it done. She let out a sigh and went out of the common room. She would have sworn she saw the first years run back into the Common Room once she was out of the common room. She had to smile because she knew they were being silly to actually stay out of the common room until she was done. She was glad that they did listen but they didn't have to. No one had died and made her queen anyways but it was kinda fun to see their faces.
Walking up to the fifth floor she walked into the Glass Corridor and walked to a bench and sat there looking at her reflection. She wondered though if people liked her for whom she was. And heck she wondered if anyone liked her for her. She was a sweet person but she still wondered. Out of the pure blue though she started laughing. "Those silly first years I can't believe they did what I had told them." The young claimed as she kept on laughing.

"Aargh!" Ethan stomped into the glass corridor on the fifth floor and stared into his reflection angrily. As his breathing slowed he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He opened his eyes gently and noticed a girl sitting on the bench nearby. He flipped around quickly, "I'm sorry you had to see that." He said, adjusting his hair slightly so that it didn't look so unkempt. "It's just that I uh... I stubbed my toe on my way up..." He said awkwardly. Truthfully that wasn't what had caused his frustration at all, but he wasn't sure who the girl was and he didn't know if she really wanted to hear the whole story.
He sighed and took a few steps back, "I'm sorry to have bothered you er...?" He was searching for her name. He knew that she was in the Hufflepuff house for he had seen her among the students in yellow before, but he didn't know who she was. He reached his hand up and scratched behind his head, accidentely revealing the bicep muscle in his arm. For being a sort of nerd, he was rather fit due to Quidditch but he didn't like attention to be drawn to it. Raised his eyebrows in question at her.

Lucy looked at the mirror and wondered who she had became. A lot of her family members kept saying she looked a lot like Aunt Hermione. And when she saw a picture of her when she was her age she was amazed because then she saw it too. She couldn't believe it at all. That they both had the same looks. And she couldn't help wonder why though. Hermione wasn't her mother that she knew for sure. She looked away for a moment and smiled back to the days that they actually had fun when she was younger.
She looked towards the door though when someone came in upset and had raised her eyebrows. "It's all right we all have our days ummm..." Lucy started to say. "I didn't really catch your name. What is your name anyways?" she asked him as she held her hand out to him. "My name is Lucy Weasley." She said with a proud smile on her face. She loved meeting different people. She wondered if this guy would want to talk about it. It would help to release the stress that he had or at least she hopes it would.
"Would you like to talk about it?" She asked him for a moment. "It might actually help release the stress if you do." She said with a small smile. "But you don't have too if you don't want too. I mean it isn't really any of my business what went on." She said as she realized she was now babbling to a guy she didn't know very well at all. "So um what year are you in?" She asked the kid after a moment. "I'm a Hufflepuff sixth year." She said once more looking at him.

"My name?" Ethan started as though he had never heard anyone ask his name before. He was tired and not really focusing well on the moment at hand. After a moment of silence he realized that he needed to speak. "Oh! Oh, it's Ethan." He said with a slightly awkward looking smile. He was sure this girl was probably judging his strange behavior, analyzing him or something of the sort. He tried to act normal, casual, unstressed. But in reality he felt as though he could implode at any moment.
"Weasley, huh? You must know James Potter." he shrugged, "He's my best friend. Anyway. It's nice to meet you Lucy." Ethan approached her and held his hand out to her, hoping to receive a common handshake. People didn't do that much often and Ethan was rather a fan of handshaking as a whole. It felt formal, yet respectful enough to start of a friendship on good grounds. But enough about analyzing handshakes.
"Talk about what? Oh...my um... tantrum?" What else could he have called it? Marching in slamming about as though he were a toddler. "I uh... maybe. I'd like to I think..." he started, he looked up at her face as a sweet smile took it's home there. He found himself smiling too. But he didn't want to bore this girl with a stupid story that wasn't even important. He sighed, "Maybe not yet." He smiled, lightly. "I'm a seventh year Gryffindor, actually. Which is pretty exciting!" He added cheerfully. "Just a year older than you. Enjoy your sixth, it's a good year."

Lucy had no idea what or why this kid was aciting a bit strange but he was. So Ethan was this kids name which was good to know. "That is a nice name by the way." She said as she looked at him a bit. She didn't think he was a bit weird or anything like that. It was fine for a kid to be a bit strange. Heck she thought herself was a bit strange. She was a bit strange and she already knew that. And she was pretty sure that everyone that knew her already knew she was strange at times.
"He's my cousin Ethan." She said with a small smile on her face. Why couldn't people put them two together heck. It's known that Harry James Potter had married Ginerva Molly Weasley. Which made james, Albus, and Lily her cousins. And heck she was the one who looked a lot like her Aunt Hermione. How was that possible but then she realized that is how it goes. "It's nice to meet you too Ethan." She said shaking his hand firmly. Heck she liked hand shaking it was a good sign of friendship or at least she hoped anyways.
She looked at him for a moment. "Yeah your tantrum what happened?" She said as she scratched her cheek a bit. She nodded knowing that everyone likes to think which wasn't a bad thing because she too like think. "I get that. I like to think too." She said with a smile on her face. And after a bit she saw a smile on his face. He had a wonderful smile or at least that is what she thought. "I'm having fun so far. "But then again you got to do the N.E.W.T.'s." Shaking her head with a smile on her face.

Ethan nodded slowly, “Thank you, I guess my parents made a good decision in naming me.” He said happily. He loved his parents very much, and appreciated Lucy complimenting him. He always liked when strangers were nice because they were more than often not. Ethan stared at her calmly, hoping that she didn’t think he was acting too crazy or strange. But she seemed to accept him, no matter how much he tended to stutter.
Ethans eyes widened and he slapped his hand to his forehead, “OH!” he said loudly then removed his hand slowly, “You’re Lucy!?” He smiled and nodded happily, “Yeah, James has mentioned you. You seem to be one of his cousins who doesn’t drive him crazy.” He smirked, James had a way of making enemies fast-Ethan just hoped Lucy wasn’t one of them. Her handshake was sturdy and Ethan liked that, it made him feel a little less awkward and uncomfortable in the situation of running into a girl in the halls.
Ethan ignored her comment about the tantrum and his smile grew wider, “I’m actually rather excited!” He said happily, “I think I’ll do really well at the testing. I got ten O.W.L.S actually.” He knew that he was smart and he really enjoyed being so, it differentiated him from his friends who were more reckless than anything. “How did you do on the O.W.L.S?” He asked.

Lucy looked at Ethan for a moment. “Your welcome. Usually parents name their kids based on who they look like. And you look like an Ethan. I must have looked like a Lucy because I don’t think anyone in my family was named Lucy before me. Which is cool because normally they get named after some relative.” the young girl said as she realized she started to ramble on a bit. She let out a small smile and looked away for a moment. She didn’t like to ramble on but when she does at times she can’t stop but she caught herself quite early on this case.
“I’m the only Lucy Weasley here at Hogwarts. James is one of my favorite cousins I have. Well Albus is the one I’m the one I’m closer too though.” she said with a slight smile upon her face. “But it’s fun to try to pull a prank on James here and there. But I usually don’t succeed pulling them off. But I did pull of one which was well sort of by accident. I was trying to get my father and he walked through the door and he got the prank instead of my dad. But I don’t remember what the prank was. It was so long ago.” She said with a slight smile.
She looked at him puzzled for a moment. “So you throw a tantrum when you’re excited?” she asked with raised eyebrows. “Well now that’s a first. Usually when I’m excited I jump up and down and scream my head off while running or some silly dance.” She said for a moment with a smile upon her face. “I did fairly good. I’m in my sixth year!” she said for a moment. “So now the ones I’m worried about are N.E.W.T’s.” she said for a moment. “But I’m sure that I will do good and move on to a good career.” she said as she scratched her cheek.

Ethan smiled, “Thanks, I guess. I’m glad I look like myself.” He chuckled a little at this comment and also chuckling at her digressing on the subject. He didn’t mind though, he liked a good conversation, “Well, all of your cousins are named after their parents friends or people they look up to I’ve noticed.” He laughed, “I don’t think your Aunt Ginny had a say in any of her kids names, at least not with the stories I’ve heard.” He had spent a lot of time at the Potter home, they were always warm and welcoming when James would invite his friends over and he knew the family extremely well, as he was sure Lucy did too.
“I don’t know Albus too well, James like to pick on him and try to freak him out,” He shrugged, “That’s about all I see of Albus. Cousins are fun though, aren’t they? Most of mine aren’t wizards or witches though.” He added, not that it really mattered but it was fun to talk about them. Ethan laughed again, “Pranking James is near impossible, so good on you!” He congratulated.
Then she brought it up again, and he sighed, “No, the tantrum wasn’t about that exactly...” He muttered. He didn’t really want to get this girl involved in his personal life, but he decided that if she kept asking she must be interested in the story. He didn’t know where to start and just ended up laughing at her ‘silly dance’ comment. “So, you’ve got another year left then? Make the best of it.” He added with a knowing smile. “You’ll do fine in the testing, I wouldn’t worry!”
