Coming Clean // Albus

'CAUSE PERFECT DIDN'T FEEL SO PERFECT. TRYING
TO FIT A SQUARE INTO A CIRCLE, WAS NO LIFE...I DENY.

Friends: Thou kind, friendly and sweet Albus is very picky about who he befriends. The boy is very skeptical and has a great judge of character. Differing from his older brother James, he is well kept to himself and doesn't really tend to socialize or conform to being popular. However, when addressed he will speak due to the fact he always has an answer for everything. After much thought and not getting any kind of bad vibe Albus will friend someone. He is really sweet, light hearted and generous to those he feels give him the same in return. When friended he likes to joke around and share laughs. The boy has a great sense of humor and is up for an adventure. Albus isn't the type to intentionally break rules, yet sometimes he comes out of his shell. He can be quite protective of the ones he cares about, due to his fear of losing people. When tampered with he has no problem standing up for what he believes and knows to be right. With all this you would doubt Albus was placed in Slytherin but there is a reason for everything.

Enemies: Unfortunately most that are on the dark side are already placed in this spot. Albus can read people, he can tell good traits from bad ones and doesn't look for confrontation. With his friendly personality he doesn't eventually make enemies yet he does have a spiteful side when it comes to those who pick on he and his close friends. Albus doesn't bite his tongue for anyone. He wears his emotions on his sleeves and speaks his mind. Albus can be quite sarcastic and sassy when it comes to those he doesn't like. He is head strong and needs to have the last say in all arguments or his ego isn't satisfied.

Did you say Love: Albus is a hopeless romantic, he is always reading romance novels in his free time. Sometimes even during class, yet he gets caught quite often. *fail* When it comes to love Albus thinks he had a good look on what should be expected. Love, loyalty, faithfulness. Him being very shy and timid he would never make any kind of first move, yet he can admire beautiful girls & boys from afar. Albus leans more toward guys because girls get him too nervous. When he actually crushes he can be a little flirty in a goofy way, he is only 16 and quite naive in this category.

Right, so you say it right in there that James and Albus are very different. James is loud, obnoxious, full of himself and just a general pain in the arse. Albus is a nice, shy kid. From the time they were little until probably the present day, I reckon James probably teases and picks on Albus a fair bit. In public especially James isn't the type to express affection, so he'd probably thoroughly enjoy putting tongue engorging toffee in his brother's porridge. That being said, if ever anyone teased Albus or if Albus was ever really obviously feeling down James is loyal to the core and he would help his brother with anything. I think the two of them would have a weird relationship where they both rely on each other and are fairly annoyed by one another at the same time.

Albus & James: Perfect, I didn't expect them to get along perfect, what brothers do? I think Albus handles his emotions on his own yet he probably does get picked on by others being a 'know-it-all' and a 'brown nose' I see him having a fair amount of haters. Albus does get a bit discouraged by that and that is when James to stick up for him so to say. Like James, Albus is loyal he would be there for James whenever he needed him even though he would be sure James could handle himself the hand is always out there for him to reach out to. Maybe James can even get him to open up a bit and have some fun every now and again who knows. Questions?

Amy and Albus are sort of two of a kind; they're both the shy, quiet ones in their respective families. Since the Potters and the Longbottoms would have grown up together and Amy and Al are the same age, they probably got to be pretty good friends because of that. I can see him being one of the few people she feels comfortable around.

From what I can see, Monet and Albus would has a mutual understanding on the world and would probably face alot of ordeals together throughout their friendship. Despite being in different houses, they are going along life around the same pace. They are both abit naive and shy, however i think this could form a sweet bond - I can't really imagine it getting romantic at any stage, so they would probably have a very lovely platonic relationship.

Albus & Monet: I agree, they could have a lovely friendship, possibly even close friends. They could share secrets and lets say they met back in first year and because she seemed snobby and it appeared no one else gave her a chance so bam, he did. As you said she wants to fit in, but back then Al wasn't so picky on friends as he is now. So past friends, that evolved into close friends?

oh yes, most definately! For her she still struggles, and he would be a constant comfort to her. Especially in the earlier years of their Hogwarts lives.

ok, so, as we agreed from my plotter, these two are friends and have been since their second year. and as i wrote in mine, she torments him, but only because she knows it will get him nervous and tongue-tied. i think she finds that adorable and has been trying to help him get over that by putting him in those awkward situations where he woudl get nervous. i won't lie, especially since he is more into dudes, i can see her being all 'hey, look at this' and then lift up her shirt JUST to get a reaction from him. she wouldn't expect him to jump her bones or anything. it woudl be just in good fun. idk if you've seen it, but i see them as having a relationship like cher and stanley tucci in burlesque. just without that really drunk night in vegas/reno (i can't remember which city it was lol)

i think these two would be most interesting. probably not the best of friends, surely, but at least decent friends. i also don't doubt albus has caught nathan while on rounds doing something or other that he shouldn't be. nathan has some good qualities, tho also some bad ones, and i think that might actually tear albus right down the middle of whether he should dislike him or not. he isn't dark tho, so it wouldn't be that type of dislike. lol.

JACK&&ALBUS

Jack would have to work with him on the fact that he's a prefect and only a year older than him. Considering that he isn't a mad blood purist they would get along even though Jack is more outgoing than Albus would be.

Albus & Jack: Of course these two have worked together, I'm sure over time these two became friends. Jack is more outgoing then Albus, and Albus would try to be a little more reckless outgoing around Jack for fun purposes. Maybe Jack can help him break out of his shell once in a while.

So like sort of encourage him to step out of his comfort zone? I can see him kind of encouraging him slightly at dances or special events and telling him to just go for it already ha.

Albus and Jack: Oh sure, Albus miss valuable studying time for a dance lol. It will be easier for Jack because he will have access to him, them both being slytherins and all. He just will have to hide in his dorm :]

I have this image of Jack physically taking him to the dance and setting him down there. I'm sure he can try and talk to him, or convince him to at least help him spike the punch as a challenge
