- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
When the topic of the photograph Albus had taken of Frankie with an erotic look had come up, Frankie told Albus that he better keep that photo in his personal stash. The Ravenclaw was positive that Albus wouldn’t dare show that picture to anyone, but he had to say it anyway, just because. Frankie smirked when Albus told him that he would get too jealous should anyone else look upon his sexy boyfriend and Frankie chuckled softly after Albus asked if he would get more than just the one. “I think we can work something out sometime in the future,” Frankie told him after Albus said that there were many other positions and expressions he could think of Frankie to make so he can take pictures, and Frankie felt his body tighten slightly when Albus mentioned the idea of less clothing being worn for them. “Not tonight, but maybe one day,” he said with a wink.
When they finally agreed to head up to the carnival itself, Frankie was glad that Albus was ready, even though his comment about seeing how he felt after actually entering the carnival made Frankie laugh. “I’m more than confident that you’ll be fine,” he said to his boyfriend as they pair headed up to the pier where the carnival was being held. Once they left the waterfront, the two boys put on their socks and sneakers and finished making their way up to the pier. Frankie felt Albus squeeze his hand and the Ravenclaw boy smiled at him and squeezed his hand back. “You’ll be fine. I’ve got you,” he said softly before placing a soft peck on Albus’ cheek. They then arrived at the ticket booth and Albus paid for their wristbands. Albus put one of the two wristbands on Frankie’s wrist and then Frankie did the same thing on Albus’ wrist.
The two walked in past the gate and looked to see what was where and what sort of plan of attack they would have. Albus then spoke up about needing to buy some fried dough and Frankie nodded and licked his lips as he followed Albus over to where the fried dough stand was located. After Albus paid for it and received it form the person selling it, he offered some to Frankie which he took happily. “This stuff is so good,” he said in between bites. They walked a bit through the games and then Albus asked if Frankie wanted to play one of them and the Ravenclaw boy nodded when he saw that Albus was looking at the game where you threw a dart at the balloons in hopes of popping them. Frankie was okay at that game, so he was sure he’d manage okay. Frankie took another bite of fried dough as the two boys walked over to the game.
Frankie paid the man for a few darts and then began to take his aim. He threw the first two and managed to pop a balloon and then asked the attendant what prize he could win for what he had done already. Frankie still had another dart left. “If you take only the two you already have, you can get any on this row,” the man said as he motioned to the lowest row of stuffed animals there were, “but if you get that last dart too, then you can choose from any of the second shelf animals,” the man told him. “But if you pay for three more darts and get at least two more of them, then you can have your pick of any prize in the booth,” the man told him. Frankie nodded in understanding and then looked at Albus. “which one do you want?” he asked. He'd pay for more if Albus wanted one of the bigger ones.
Albus told him that he would take whatever Frankie wanted to get him and Frankie merely smirked at his boyfriend. “I’ll take three more then,” he told the man as he fished into his pocket and pulled out some money and placed it on the booth counter before taking aim with the last dart of the original three that he had purchased. He threw it and got it. Frankie cheered. “So, I still need to get two more for any prize, yeah?” he asked the game attendant, who nodded in confirmation. “Okay,” he said before taking aim again and making another dart. He needed only one more now, and he had two chances left. He threw one and missed, which made him frown, but he threw the last one and got it. “I’ll take… that one,” he said, pointing at the largest teddy bear hanging from the top of the booth. “what’s next?” he asked Albus once he handed over the large brown teddy bear to him.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus had only been teasing when he told Frankie about taking more photos for his stash. He liked that Frankie didn't judge him for his lack of crudely when speaking, and he blushed when Frankie said perhaps they could in the future. Albus had a photographic memory, he could remember every time he was close to Frankie, in that sense. The way his body was built, to the way he skin was soft. Albus closed his eyes for a moment, and remembered back to the night when Frankie asked him out. The two had gotten much closer then before, and he remembered holding Frankie after. The satisfaction, and the safe feeling he felt that night was amazing, and he had enjoyed being close. A picture may have been worth a thousand words, but that feeling was endless. Albus opened his eyes, and smirked. "Perhaps, I don't know if I need anymore as of now, I have a vivid memory." Albus told Frankie, biting his bottom lip. When two people were that close it was hard not to remember details. Albus had been sober, which he couldn't say that was the same with most of his other partners. Albus wanted to be sober for Frankie, he longed to feel it sober, with nothing consuming his mind. It was strange, but he didn't feel discomfort around Frankie, he actually didn't mind being in that state. Albus was normally really self conscious about his body, but Frankie made it feel okay. Albus let his mind wonder away while they walked to the pier.
When Frankie kissed Albus' cheek and told him he got him, Albus blushed and felt the tension die. He leaned against Frankie when he bought the tickets, and then the two got into the park. After some fried dough, the two went over to the game. Albus watched Frankie pop the balloons, and grinned at the noise. "You're doing great baby." Albus told him as he gave a little hop, and clapped his hands together at the third balloon popping. Albus was excited, he always was watching Frankie do anything competitive. This was why he was his mate's best cheer leader, during the quidditch matches. Albus loved to watch, and he knew his enthusiasm brought Frankie a sense of pride because the boy was working for those moments. Frankie asked which one Albus wanted, and Al told him he wanted Frankie to pick him out. It would mean more that way, and when the game was over he took the brown bear and hugged him. Albus skimmed the bear over for a moment and fixed his bow, then took Frankie's hand. Grasped tightly in his other, was the bear and Albus planned on loving that bear all day. "I love him." Albus told Frankie, as he walked a bit into the park. Albus looked around after Frankie asked him what he wanted to do. Honestly Albus wasn't too sure but he saw the rides, and felt the urge to break his fear.
"We can go on a ride, yeah?" Albus asked looking around to find something not too scary, but something that still had thrill to it. "Which one shall we go on first?" Albus asked looking up at the Farris wheel. He blushed deeply at the thought of that ride, but was it quite time for that? Albus bit his bottom lip. There were too many choices, on one hand he could tackle the roller coaster, and feel accomplished, but then there was that pirate ship that rocked back and fourth, high in the sky, and it seemed scary as well. Albus took Frankie's hand, and walked over to the line for the pirate ship, he heard the screams and turned to Frankie. "This one, you pick the next one. We're doing this first, before I chicken out." Albus told Frankie as the boy's waited in line. The sound of pandemonium, and thrill made Albus a little nervous and he turned to Frankie and buried his face in his boyfriend's chest. Dreading his decision, but excited in the whole bit.

When Frankie told Albus that he'd let him take more pictures of him in such a way, he knew he'd like it. The blush that crept onto his boyfriend's face only verified it and Frankie grinned at Albus' response. "It's an open ended offer, so you don't have to decide now," he told him with a playful wink. "So it's a good thing you've got a good memory," he added with a wide smile.
Once the pair had made it to the actual carnival, Frankie was ready to go on some rides. Albus suggested that they hit up the games first. Frankie was okay with that and followed Albus over to the dart and balloon game. Frankie began trying to win a prize for Albus. He was almost there.
POP!
After he won, Frankie picked the biggest teddy bear the game had to offer the bear was brown and very fluffy. Albus took the bear and hugged it tightly. Frankie smiled when Albus told him that he loved him. "I'm glad you do. Makes winning it for you all the more worth it," he told him as he squeezed his hand softly.
Once they walked away from the game, Frankie was about to ask Albus what he wanted to do next when Albus asked first. "Whatever you'd prefer. I'd rather you pick a ride you're comfortable with," he told him. He didn't want to force Albus on anything that was too much for him, and would rather him be comfortable when it came to going on the big rides.
Albus took his hand and led him over to the pirate ship ride that went back and forth. Albus told him that he chose his ride and that Frankie could choose the next one. "Sounds like a plan to me," he said as he waited in line with Albus. Frankie put an arm around him when he buried his head in his chest. "It'll be okay, I promise," he said in a reassuring tone.
When the ride ended, Frankie and Albus walked slowly down the exit line of the ride. "You okay?" he asked as they exited the ride as made their way over to the nearest bench. Albus looked a little uneasy and Frankie would happily take a breather before going on the next ride. "So, do you think you'll be okay for another ride? I know it's my pick, but I'd rather you tell me what you think you can handle," he said with a soft smile. He'd love to go on one of the big rides, but he'd go slow for Albus.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus had told Frankie he had a good memory, and he really did. Albus could still picture each night he shared with his boyfriend, even when they were only friends fooling around. Truth be told he was glad, he was more then Frankie's friend now, he felt like he had purpose. Frankie told Al he didn't have to decide now, and he sort of felt selfish. "Well then, when we do decide. I will have to take some as well to be even." Albus told Frankie with a wink, and a playful nudge. it was nice to say things, and have meaning being them. Albus always was honest with his heart, and some just seemed to take that as he wanted intimacy, or affection in that current moment. Yet he didn't feel that way honestly. Albus wasn't someone that was just going to go away, and it took his current boyfriend to realize that and tie him down. Albus walked hand in hand with Frankie to the pier. Though he was nervous, Frankie's words made that anxiety go away, and he entered the park, headed straight for the fired dough, and games. Albus watched Frankie play the game, and cheered him on the whole way. When Frankie had won the game, Albus grinned and took the brown teddy bear in lovingly. Albus was an odd boy, he did love stuffed animals from people he loved, which may have been one of his few feminine qualities. Albus had always been that way though, some kids like snuggling with a blanket, Al liked cuddling with a teddy bear. Albus told Frankie he loved it, and Frankie said then it was worth his effort. Albus grinned, "Thanks." He said holding the bear, as the two walked through the park.
Albus watched many rides, but his impulsive nature kicked in and he picked a big one. Al told Frankie he could pick the next one, and they were going to ride the pirate ship. Albus watched as the people rocked back and forth and he noted the oiled gears that held the ride together. The thought was scary so he hide his face against Frankie's chest. Wrapping his arms around the boy as he waited for the line to progress. Albus felt safer when Frankie held him, and he looked up letting his boyfriend's tone sooth his fears. It was finally time, and Albus stepped on the ride. He took a seat beside Frankie, and the ride attendant pushed the bar over their laps and Albus felt his heart flutter. Albus' asthma caused him to wheeze, as he tried to contain his hyperventilating. "I can't look." Albus said as the music turned up on the distance, and he heard the man giving the instructions, to not put your feet or arms out side of the ride. "Like anyone is foolish enough to do that." Albus copped as he gripped on the the bar. This was it, and he was scared. The ride started, and he was sure he was the loudest person in the park. His stomach was knotted, each time the right was high in the air. When the ride was over he was happy to get off, and his face was red. Albus felt a little queezy as he took a seat on the bench. He was slightly shaking, as he looked up to Frankie. "I'm okay..." He lied trying to sooth himself, running his fingers through the teddy bear's fur. Albus looked over his shoulder at the ride and smirked lightly. "I did it though." He whispered feeling a little accomplished.
When Frankie asked him was he okay to go on another ride, his stomach had just settled. Al licked his lips, and those brown eyes of Frankie's caused him to smile. "Sure, we can go on another one." Albus said straightening himself out. He got to his feet and placed his hand in Frankie's walking around the park til Frankie found a ride to fill his choice. Albus looked at the booths and saw the psychic doing tarot readings. "She is far from a seer." Albus told Frankie. Muggles were a bit funny with how they thought they could predict the future. Albus thought it was all a crock of rubbish, to make money. That was exactly what it was, and it sort of made Al feel bad for the people being mislead. Yet, everyone had to make a living, Al guessed, even lying gypsies. The boy walked by a stand and scrunched his nose. "Frankie, have you ever heard of a fried pickle?" Albus asked, some things were outrageous to him. Albus waited for Frankie to answer, then decide what they'd go on next. The weather was nice, one ride down a whole park to go. "Which one have you settled upon?" Albus asked looking to Frankie for direction.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
When they got off the pirate ship ride, Frankie knew that they would have to take a few minutes to rest before going on another ride. Even though it had been Albus’ pick, Frankie knew how Albus felt about thrill rides and how they made him feel. He led his boyfriend over to one of the benches near the exit gate of the pirate ship ride and sat him down. He asked him if he was okay and nodded his head when Albus told him that he was. Frankie wasn’t sure if he was telling the truth or not, but he wasn’t going to push him further about it. “Yes, you did, and I know you’ll look back on this moment and be very proud of yourself,” Frankie assured him.
Frankie then asked if he would be able to go on the next ride that Frankie was supposed to pick. Frankie would go on the ride anyway, but he didn’t want to force Albus onto one if he wasn’t ready. Frankie smiled when Albus told him that he would go on another one. Frankie watched Albus stand up straight and Frankie did the same. Hand in hand, the pair left the pirate ship ride and began to make their way towards the other rides so that Frankie could pick their next ride. In their travels, they saw a female psychic set up to take the money off the people to tell them their fortune. “Likely not, unless she is one of us and is just in it for the money,” Frankie told Albus when he made a comment about her not being a seer.
Frankie looked around to see what ride he wanted to go on next when Albus asked if he’d ever heard of a fried pickle. “I haven’t, no,” he told Albus, “and I am not sure I want to try one either,” he said as he made a face at the idea. He’s eaten pickles before, and he likes them, but he isn’t so sure that a fried one would be all that satisfying. It could be good to some people, but Frankie was surely not one to taste it to find out. Albus had then asked him if he had picked their next ride and Frankie nodded. “I think we’ll go on that one next,” Frankie said as he pointed at the roller coaster that loomed over them. It had only two loop-de-loops and the rest looked mild enough for Albus. “You okay with that?” he asked Albus with a raised eyebrow.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus had been a little happy he went on his first scary ride of the day, he always found it better to start with something hard, and work his way up or down depending on how he felt after. Albus was always like that, he didn't see if fit to try something mellow, after his silly suggestion of riding the carousel earlier. After Frankie's reaction, he knew he couldn't just ride on the baby rides, as he would have if he was here with his family. Albus listened to Frankie tell him, he'd be proud of himself later for going on the ride and he nodded. "Your right, it's much more pleasing to know I accomplished that, more so then the the carousel." Albus added with a grin. He looked around the park for a moment letting his stomach settle, before getting up and venturing for the next ride. It was Frankie's turn to pick, but while Frankie was contemplating what ride to go on next, Albus was distracted by every little thing.
Albus didn't want to try a fried pickle either, the thought of it was unappealing but he just pointed out things that stood out to him. The two boys came to a stop, and Frankie had set the next ride. His blue eyes cast upon the roller coaster and he took in a breath. There were some up-side-down moments, that scared him a bit. The rest of the ride didn't look too bad, just the first drop and the loops, but he nodded anyways. Frankie brought on a courage in him, and he didn't want to look like a baby for not going on the big rides. "That's fine, I mean you'll be beside me, so I should be okay." Albus muttered, he could feel himself a bit nervous, but wasn't that the point of amusement parks, to enjoy the thrill. After all that was what was paid for, the risk and the adrenaline. Albus walked over to the line and watched a few times, as people before them went on. When it finally came their turn Albus got into the cart with Frankie, and he watched the ride attendant put down the bar. He felt a little anxious, as he held on for dear life, closing his eyes tightly. When the ride was in motion he felt himself scream, but he somewhat felt okay about it because everyone else was as well. Albus opened his eyes just in time for the first loop, and he felt the trill of the ride and the wind blowing through his hair. Albus actually giggled, enjoying himself til the ride was over. The butterflies in his stomach were fluttered, as he got off and looked at Frankie. "How about we go on the zipper next?" Albus suggested feeling bolder now that he went on a big ride.
Time lapse to the evening
As the afternoon went on the boys went on quite a few rides, Albus guessed he wasn't as scared because they only lasted for about a minute each. The day got longer and turned into the evening, the park started to light up. All the rides brought a different element to the park, and the bright neon colors made it beautiful. The boys had went on a number of thrill rides, even the log water ride, which Albus loved and talked Frankie into going on twice. Albus' eyes locked on the farris wheel, he didn't know how much he'd enjoy it because it may have been said to be the gentlest ride in the park, but it was also the highest, and slowest. He seemed to stair blankly at it for a long while before snapping himself from his thoughts. At this point he was a bit hungry, but Albus didn't want to suggest eating if they were going to go on anything else. Albus wanted to play a game or two as well. "How do you feel about going on a couple more rides, then grabbing some dinner?" Albus asked his boyfriend, curious. He wanted to go on the farris wheel with Frankie before they left, but he wanted Frankie to get to go on all the rides, he wanted to as well. Albus took out his camera and took some more pictures of the rides, and his boyfriend. He figured he'd have plenty of pictures to add to his scrap book now. Albus was surprised when a woman saw him struggling to try to take a picture with Frankie by the log ride, and she approached the two. "Would you like me to take a picture for you?" She asked, and Albus smirked and nodded. "That would be most appreciated, Thanks." Albus told the muggle woman, posing beside his boyfriend with a smile. She returned his camera and he thanked her once more before turning to Frankie. "That was nice." Albus stated, "At least we'll have one picture that isn't in a weird aerial view." Albus giggled. "I'm glad we did this today." Albus admitted to Frankie, he felt joy when spending time with Frankie, doing something they both seemed to enjoy.

When Frankie had told him that he should be proud of himself for getting on and getting through the pirate ship ride, Albus agreed and told him that he was pleased to know that he managed such a feat, which made Frankie smile. When Frankie suggested one of the larger roller coasters to Albus, he wasn’t trying to scare him. In fact, he was hoping that picking it so soon in the day would help ease Albus’ fears of the larger rides in general. They both knew that he would get on them at some point or another, so Frankie figured it would be best to do it now and ‘get it out of the way’ so that Albus’ fears would be better for the rest of the rides. That didn’t mean that Frankie would want to go on a string of thrill rides without a break though; even the biggest thrill seekers needed a break every now and again. The pair got in line for the ride and Frankie could feel Albus’ nervousness as they approached the front of the line. “You’ll be fine. I promise,” he said to him as he squeezed his hands reassuringly. When their time finally came, the pair got into one of the cars of the train and pulled down the over the shoulder bar that would keep them from falling out during the loop-de-loops. Frankie patted Albus’ knee when he turned to see the apprehension on his boyfriend’s face before the ride started. The train pulled away from the station and Frankie gripped the sides of the over-head restraints as they began to climb the initial incline. Frankie heard Albus scream during the first drop, but he also heard others as well so Frankie joined in. He wasn’t screaming out of fear, but excitement for the ride. “That wasn’t too bad, right?” he asked as they walked off the ride. Albus then suggested them going on the zipper and Frankie agreed and walked with Albus over to the other ride. - - - - - - - - time lapse - - - - - - - - As the day slipped by, the two boys had gone on a various array of rides and played a few more games. Frankie was really proud of Albus for making it through all of the thrill rides they had gone one. It didn’t hurt that most of them were no more than a minute or two long, so it was only terrifying for a short while. That was one thing Frankie hated about those rides though; they were so popular that they were made to be only a short length of time so that more people could go on them at a faster rate. It made total sense, and Frankie had to hand it to the designers of such rides to know and exploit it. It worked, and well. It made Frankie wonder how much effort went into planning and building a roller coaster. He’d have to look that up over the summer, if that information was available at the local library. It seemed like an interesting idea to research. Albus asked him about going on a few more rides and then grabbing dinner, which Frankie nodded his head in agreement. He was getting very hungry, especially since the only things he’s eaten so far that day was the breakfast Albus had made for him that morning and then the fried dough Albus bought when they first arrived at the carnival. In the midst of the rides, Albus was snapping pictures with his camera of them. Frankie didn’t mind, especially since Albus hadn’t asked him to give anymore erotic looks while they were surrounded by a slew of people. A woman had come over to them and asked Albus if he’s like for her to take a picture of him and Frankie. Frankie stood beside Albus and posed with him, though nothing too crazy, and waited for the woman to take the picture. The boys thanked her when she was done and then Frankie smirked at Albus. “It’s always good to have at least one picture that is straight ton and not from above,” he said jokingly. “It was definitely a smashing idea,” Frankie agreed when Albus told him that he was glad they had decided to come to the carnival that day,. “If we hadn’t, we’d probably be stuck hanging around your brother and his friends, which wouldn’t have been half as fun,” Frankie said with a smile. Frankie was definitely happier with today’s plans than if they would have had to deal with James and Ben, especially considering Albus and Ben’s past. Frankie would rather put as much distance between him and Ben as humanly possible. The boys went on a couple of more rides and then they began walking around to find a good place to eat. “How about that place right there,” he said as he pointed to one of the burger kiosks that had a small line protruding from it. And there are some tables we can sit at right there as well,” Frankie said when he saw the tables set next to the kiosk.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - As a matter of fact Albus needed this day with his boyfriend, it felt really nice to test his fears and push himself to his limits. Frankie was there checking on his every set of the way, and he felt a sense of security. No boy had ever made Albus feel secure about himself, and he wasn't sure what it was about Frankie that did. It was like he could be himself, flaws and all and everything would still be alright. Albus guessed that was what happened when you dated your best friend, you were mostly accustom to acting yourself. It all felt right, and Albus was glad he was taking risks. It was a risk dating Frankie from the beginning, he remembered all the thoughts that poured through his mind, and all the possibilities of what could or may happen, but the two made it past all that. Albus was happy for the first time in a long time, and he couldn't quite recall the last time he was this happy.
Albus told Frankie he was happy they decided to go to the carnival, and when Frankie spoke he chuckled and nodded. "Can you see it, us being included in the talk of how many girls they've slept with. Or who plays quidditch better. Or worsts which on of them caught what, from who." Albus rolled his eyes, and laughed. His brother and his brother's friends were very vulgar, the only one who Albus didn't mind was Ethan. He was more reserved and shy, unlike his obnoxious brother, and arrogant ex boyfriend. Albus ran his fingers through his hair. "I really think it would be rather awkward to hang with them now that we're dating. I'm kind of hesitant about bringing you around Benny, after...well you already know." he frowned. Frankie knew it was a soft subject for him, and he was over it, but it was still a scar from the past. No use in dwelling on it, it would upset Frankie just as much. The thought of his boy friend fighting with his ex was not appealing. Albus knew how Frankie felt, so he figured it was best to avoid the subject in general. "About that dinner?" Albus said trying to change the subject. Ben wasn't over the fact they were over, or at least to Albus' knowledge. The last time he saw Ben they kind of made up but on a rocky patch. Albus cuddled with Ben just because he felt the boy hadn't slept in weeks, and he felt bad. Albus did feel empathy, and he wasn't one to give up completely on a friend ship. It was over, and he was glad.
Albus and Frankie went on a couple rides and from the view he was looking for a place to eat. When they got off their last ride, he looked to where Frankie was pointing. "I could go for a burger and curly fries, that's a brilliant idea." Albus told Frankie as he slipped his hand in his boyfriend's walking over into the line. Albus looked at the menu, and waited patiently for the line to move. When it was their turn, Albus ordered. "I'll have a bacon cheese burger, with curly fries and cheese sauce." Albus said. It sounded amazing to him, he looked to Frankie to let his boyfriend order. "What are you feeling like having babe?" Albus asked looking between the kiosk, and Frankie. After they ordered he backed up and waited for the food to be made. Albus was very hungry. "I think before we go, we should ride the faris wheel as our last ride. They say it's the gentlest, but really it's the largest and highest." Albus said, he could feel the goosebumps cross his arms at the thought of how high it really was. When the food was done, he put mustard, ketchup on his large burger and made his way to the seating area. Albus took a seat beside his boyfriend and dipped one of his fries in the cheese sauce. He purred at the taste, before enjoying a couple more.

Frankie snorted when Albus said that they would have been included in the conversation of how many girls they’ve slept with if they had stayed home and hung out with James and Ben. Frankie wasn’t a virgin in that respect, and he knew that Albus knew that, but Frankie wasn’t anywhere near as promiscuous as James was, so he wouldn’t have much to tell there. Besides, he doesn’t generally like talking about such things because he likes to believe those sorts of situations and encounters are meant to be private. At the mention of how played Quidditch better, Frankie laughed. “Well, I wouldn’t want to make any of them feel stupid when they realize I am way better than they are at Quidditch,” he said. “And, to be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t want to hear who caught what from who,” he said with a shudder. “They can keep that to themselves,” he said.
Albus had then said that he was actually nervous about being around them now that they were dating. Frankie nodded when Albus told him that he was hesitant to bring Frankie around Ben and he fully understood why. He knew all about Albus and ben’s past, just as he knew all about how abusive ben had been towards Albus. Truth be told, ben was lucky Frankie didn’t go around him often, and even more so that he was just a Keeper in Quidditch and not a Beater because he would easily take the older boy’s head off if he had half a chance to. Frankie didn’t like ben at all; he hadn’t before he knew all about the abuse, and even more so once he did learn of it. It was only because of Albus that Frankie had yet to do anything about that older Gryffindor asshole, and he was sure that Albus knew it too. Frankie didn’t say anything about it though, because he didn’t want to give Ben too much attention on their day.
When it came time to eat, Frankie suggested that they go to one of the burger kiosks that had a small line at it. Frankie would love a burger and fries right now. There was always room for something greasy. Frankie grinned when Albus told him that it was a brilliant idea and the two boys headed over to the line and stood in it. When it was their turn, Albus ordered his food and then it was Frankie’s turn. “I’m have a bacon double cheeseburger, cheese fries and a coke,” he said to the kiosk attendant. Frankie pulled out his wallet and paid for the food and then stood with Albus to wait for it. “We can do that, though, I have to admit, I am not a huge fan of those,” Frankie said as their number was called and Frankie picked up the tray of food, “but since you went on the big rides for me, I can do the ferris wheel for you,” he said as he carried the tray over to one of the tables and say down.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - As the two boys spoke of spending time with James, and James' click Albus rambled through some traumatizing scenarios. He was sure he and Frankie were on the same page with over all thoughts of the situation. Albus had never been one to play quidditch, or to get on a broom unless it was for flying class. He couldn't bare the thought of heights, but he was here on thrill rides all day. It was silly now that he thought about it, but riding a broom, wasn't something he liked. Albus much rather all the boys play quidditch while he watched, and did his part of showing his support. At Frankie's words he giggled, he did liked that arrogant side Frankie had at times. Confidence was sexy on his boyfriend. "You're amazing baby, they couldn't hold a candle to how great you are quidditch. But they can wish." Albus told his boyfriend, he could compliment where it was true, but he knew Frankie already knew all he was reiterating. Albus scrunched his nose when Frankie said he didn't want to hear about who caught what, from who. The thought alone made his skin crawl, he just hoped to never hear about those types of experiences from James.
Albus didn't want to think about Ben, he blinked a couple times thinking about catching diseases, he'd kill him ex-boyfriend if that were the case. Luckily Albus was smart, and safe not that it had gone far, but just in case. Albus changed the touchy subject of bringing Frankie around Ben. It wasn't something he'd like to think about. The two boys may have even gotten physical, and he couldn't have that on his conscious. To think clearly, and be honest with himself, he was sure if he hadn't told Frankie, to not do anything to Ben in the past things may have already gotten violent. His current man, didn't like the way his ex treated him one bit, but out of respect for Albus he didn't butt in. It would be nice when these thoughts didn't surface anymore, Albus couldn't help to think. In honesty, he was over Ben, but when dwelling, it only irritated the scars that were slowly. As the boy's ordered their food, and walked over taking a seat Albus took a couple bites of his fries. He loved cheese fries, one of his favorite parts of going to the fair was the food. There were some odd things, but never the less he had enjoyed certain parts more then others.
Albus loved the romantic thoughts the ferris wheel gave him. He was sure it would be nice go go on the ride, but he noticed it stopped high up often. On second thought, he may not want to be suspended up so high. "Maybe we can skip it, it's getting late, and I rather not be stuck up that high." Albus said looking at the ride a short distance away. He saw the people stuck at the top, and he didn't want to be those people. Taking risks all day was getting old anyways. Albus had his share of fun, and he didn't want to barf up his burger, or have a panic attack. "Plus, we have a movie to watch, and scrapbooking to do, and cuddling ahead of us, I can skip that ride this time around." Albus told Frankie with a lopsided grin. Albus was looking forward to getting in his pajamas, and spending the night with his boyfriend. He took a big bite of his burger, and savored the taste. Albus ate til his fill just enjoying the food. When he was stuffed he waited for Frankie to be finished. Albus wiped off his mouth with a napkin, and then cleaned up his trash. "What do you say, I'm sure my mom is early enough. Unless you want that to be us." Albus said pointing to the top of the farris wheel, showing Frankie what he meant. He was a bit nervous, but if Frankie convinced him they needed to go on that ride, he would oblige.

Frankie was not normally one of those arrogant kids, nor did he usually go about thinking that he was better than anyone at certain things, even when it came to playing Quidditch. He couldn’t say he was the best Keeper because he was certain there were better ones than him, both at Hogwarts and not, as well as flyers and all-around players. He knew he was good though, and good enough to play on a professional team if he wanted to. He’d talked to a scout once, at his last match before he came home for Easter holiday, and the guy told him that he could easily see Frankie joining a team right out of Hogwarts. Frankie could even remember the guy saying ‘it’s a shame you aren’t a seventh year ‘cause I’d offer you a contract for next year right now’ which had put a smile on Frankie’s face for a good while. The only person Frankie had shared that with was Albus, but he didn’t tell anyone else, not even his parents, because he didn’t want to make a big deal about it.
When Albus first mentioned going on the ferris wheel, Frankie hadn’t been overly thrilled with the idea. He didn’t like those types of rides very much, which was strange seeing as how he thoroughly enjoyed going on the thrill rides as well as doing daring stunts on his broomstick when he had the room and opportunity to fly. It was likely the fact that it was a slow ride that just went around in a circle that did it because he wasn’t a fan of carousels either. However, if Albus wanted to go on the one the fair had, he would. He had told Albus he would since Albus had gone on the bigger thrill rides for him, but Albus seemed to change his mind after a few fries and watching the ride for a few moments. Frankie chuckled when Albus told him that it was getting late and he didn’t want to be stuck up that high. “I don’t know about stuck, but I won’t argue with you about skipping it,” he said with a smirk before stuffing a few of his own cheese fries in his mouth.
When Albus mentioned the movie they still had to watch, Frankie smiled. He was looking forward to it, though he was curious if they were still going to be inviting their mom’s to watch the movie with them. He wasn’t sure, even though they both mentioned the idea of it earlier, but he figured that he wouldn’t mention it unless Albus did first. “It should be a good time,” he said before taking a bite of his burger. The burger was juicy and it tasted really good to Frankie as he chewed on it. He ate a few fries between bites and then slurped it all down with his Coke. After a few more rounds of this, Frankie finished his food and he wiped his mouth clean with a napkin before cleaning up his garbage along with Albus. “Maybe we shodul check to see if she is,” he said when Albus said that his mother could already be there, and then suggested that they go on the ferris wheel while they waited for her. “And if she isn’t there, then we can go on it,” he said. In truth, he hoped that Ginny was there waiting for them because he didn’t want to go on the ferris wheel.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus had enjoyed his whole day with Frankie. Everything was fun, and there was hardly any arguments. Albus was getting used to dating his best friend, it really was nice. Albus enjoyed Frankie's company, and they enjoyed similar interests. Maybe Frankie was a bit more fun then Albus, but that never stopped them in the past. If anything the desire to impress his boyfriend, had him being a bit more spontaneous. Albus was getting in a relaxed mood. The boy was really ready to just settle in for the rest of the evening. Albus really hoped his mother was waiting in the parking lot, he didn't want to ride the farris wheel anymore. It was romantic, but the thought of being that high up for long moments made his stomach queasy. Albus wasn't sure if he wanted to lose his lunch. Albus enjoyed each bite of his food, he would look forward to the next fair just because the cheese fries were so great. When he finished eating, he cleaned up and looked to see if Frankie wanted to go on the ride. At Frankie's words he smiled and nodded. "You know how she is, she will surely be there." Albus' mother always was on time, since Harry had died, she was over protective of each of her children.
Albus slid his hand into Frankie's and lead his boyfriend out the amusement park. Albus looked back once more to capture the moment. The rides all lit up, and the night sky had fallen. "I look forward to the next one." Albus told Frankie, as the pair walked toward where his mother dropped them off. Albus liked the freedom, as a child he was sort of odd and just stayed around his house most of the time. It was nice to get out, it made him feel more mature. When they got to the meeting spot, Albus looked to Frankie and grinned. His mother had been there, concluding the battle of if the two had to go on the farris wheel. "There's always next time." Albus shrugged opening the door for Frankie to get in. Albus then got in after him. Naturally Ginny asked them about their day, and Albus went on about how brave he felt. It was actually a good feeling. Albus remembered Frankie mentioning their mother's and the movie. Albus wasn't sure if he wanted their mothers there, but he told him mother she should get out the house, and hang out with Mrs. Greene. The mothers were friends, and Albus didn't like his mother alone, with his father's death anniversary so close. It was depressing, and Albus was sure James would like some privacy. As the car drove toward Godric Hollow, Albus held Frankie's hand. Albus felt nice, he knew when he got home he'd drag Frankie along to his house so he could get in his pajamas.
They had settled on having their sleep over at Frankie's house, and Albus was glad for that. When they got to Albus' house Al lead Frankie inside. "I'll just get changed, and grab the movie and then we can go over to your house." Albus said, leading Frankie into his room. Albus could hear James in his room, and he felt odd. The boy wasn't sure but something felt strange, but he didn't act upon his suspicion. Albus entered his room, narrowing his eyes looking around. It seemed to be uninterrupted, but he could never be too careful. Albus let Frankie in and closed the door behind him. He placed the Teddy bear, Frankie won him on his bed, and looked to his desk. "Remember when you asked me did the hearts in my notebooks have your name in them?" Albus asked as he walked over to where he put his notebooks, he took one and walked it over to Frankie opening the pages. Albus took in a breath and handing his boyfriend the book with little etched in hearts. They indeed had Frankie's name in there, and there were little side notes as well. Albus blushed a deep shade of pink, he guessed he was suppose to share this kind of stuff that made him shy with Frankie. Albus walked over to his bureau and grabbed his green, plaid pajama pants and a white t shirt. He also grabbed his boxers, changing right there in front of Frankie. Albus blushed remembering the time Frankie walked in on him naked. It was something they agreed they wouldn't speak of, but he had to bring it up. "This feel familiar?" Albus teased pulling up his boxers so he wasn't starkers. He then got dressed and walked over to his bed sitting down. "Come here, sexy." Albus told Frankie, biting his bottom lip, this may have been the only time they were alone for the rest of the night, so he figured he'd try to squeeze in a quick snogging session.

When Frankie had told Albus that he would go on the ferris wheel with him if his mother wasn't already waiting in the parking lot for them, Frankie knew better. He knew Ginny well, having lived next door to the Potters for the last ten years or so, and knew how she was when it came to picking them up when they were out in the Muggle world, especially now that her husband was dead. He didn’t' want to say it though, because he wanted to show Albus that he was at least going to make the attempt for him, even if he really didn't want to go on the ride. Frankie smirked when Albus confirmed what Frankie thought about Ginny and held onto Albus' hand as the pair made their way out of the carnival.
When they came to a stop, Frankie noticed that Albus had turned around to look back at the carnival behind them and Frankie did the same. It really was a site to see, the rides and games all lit up with their lights to make them stand out, casting a glow all around them both in the sky and on the ground. "Definitely," Frankie agreed when Albus said he couldn't wait for the next one. Frankie was sure that it wouldn’t be until at least the next time they came home, or at least that would be the next one they would be able to go to. "We'll have to go to some this summer," he said, though he was sure Albus had already thought of that, "and we can hit the ferris wheel first," he added, hoping to appease Albus with that.
Sure enough, Ginny was there waiting for them and the two boys got into the car and greeted her. As per any parent picking up their child after a fun day out, she asked them how their afternoon was and the boys took turns telling her about the rides they went on and Albus even showed her the bear Frankie had won for him. As they drove home, Albus told his mother that she should get out of the house and do something with Frankie's mother. Frankie made sure to chime in and agree. It would do her good, though Frankie left that part out. He didn't think it was necessary to say that. Ginny seemed pleased with the idea and agreed that it sounded like fun. Frankie was glad.
When they got home, Albus pulled Frankie towards his house and told him that he'd just change into his jimmers and grab the movie before they headed over to Frankie's. Frankie nodded in silence and followed Albus into his house. "Why do I find it strange that your brother is home right now?" Frankie asked rhetorically as they entered Albus' room. James was usually out and about when they were home on break, and it was rare that he was still home at this hour when there was nothing to wake up early for the following day. Albus closed the door and then brought up the day when Frankie asked about his name being in hearts that Albus drew on his books. Frankie nodded and took one of the books that Albus held out to him.
As Frankie looked over the book, his cheeks heating up as he looked at all of the hearts Albus drew around his name, and then looked up when he saw Albus move in his peripheral vision. Frankie blushed even harder as he watched Albus change his clothes and the Ravenclaw subconsciously licked his lips as he looked on. Albus asked Frankie if this felt familiar to him and Frankie couldn't help but blush a brilliant shade of red as he recalled exactly what Albus was talking about. He nodded his head slowly as he ran his fingers through his hair and then smirked at Albus when he told him to come towards him. Frankie obliged and walked towards him. Once he reached him, Frankie closed the distance between them and pressed his lips to Albus'. "You taste like a cheeseburger," he joked once he pulled away, "but you taste good," he said before kissing him again.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus had been glad the boys were finally home. The thought of the next time they would go to the fair was exciting. Albus hadn't went on all the scary rides, and maybe next time he'd be less nervous. The day had went brillantly and Albus couldn't have been more sasified with the bonding time. After today, he felt closer to Frankie. Yet he couldn't help to feel like that after all his dates with his boyfriend. Even just spending time at the castle, he enjoyed the company. It was nice to be able to be himself, and have intelligent conversations. Albus wasn't rushing into being in love, because he feared getting hurt. But something about Frankie made it hard not to be in love. Though they had only dated for a little over a month, he felt like it was longer. Like he was there all along. It was hard to explain, but he knew he was happy and that was all that mattered. When they finally reached his house, he wanted to show Frankie the hearts in his journal. Albus didn't want to separate so he lead Frankie to his house, and entered.
James, what was he doing home? Didn't he have chaos he should be causing somewhere in the world? When Frankie asked the question Albus shrugged. "I find it strange as well. Perhaps he couldn't find an available lady friend." Albus commented sarcastically. If that had been the case, he may have been in more shock then his brother actually being home on a weekend. Albus lead Frankie upstairs to his room and closed the door behind them. Albus' mother wouldn't mind, she probably knew he had to change. This a rare occurrence where the door was allowed to be shut. Albus didn't like not being trusted, but he couldn't blame his mother. Both he and Frankie were at that age where relationships were more then holding hands and cheek kisses. Albus gave Frankie his notebook and allowed the his boyfriend to take in all his little doodles. Albus had writing cute little things about 'forever' and what not around those hearts as well. When feeling this special, it was hard to not be immature. Albus just expressed his love differently then some people. Maybe a bit more because of his disorder. The lack of full control of his feelings, made him go a bit overboard but he always tried to keep his cool. The last thing Frankie needed was a clingy boyfriend. Albus stripped out of his clothes from the day and asked Frankie if he he felt a familiar feeling. The color of his boyfriend's cheeks spoke for him. When he finished getting dressed Albus walked over to his bed and sat down for a moment and beckoned for Frankie to join him.
Albus aqua eyes watched as Frankie moved closer and he anticipated the kiss. Albus wanted to taste Frankie's lips, it had been a long day without them. Frankie closed the space between them and Albus proceeded to kiss his boyfriend. When Frankie broke away he pouted at first, but Frankie's words caused him to smile. "Then I am lucky you love cheeseburgers huh?" Albus asked, as his lips were claimed. Al closed his eyes and allowed the kiss to become passionate. He ran his fingers through Frankie's soft brown locks, lovingly as their tongues would collide. Albus felt the heat of the kiss, as his heart pounded against his chest. He blushed and broke away, Frankie would understand why. Albus didn't want to get worked up, nor work up his boyfriend, because then they'd have an issue neither of them could solve before his mother got suspicious. Albus pecked Frankie's lips once more and stood up, straightening himself out. "Well, we should be getting to your house so you can get into your pajamas and we can watch this movie." Albus said, as he ruffled his black hair. Albus walked over grabbing the movie off his shelf. He waited for Frankie, then turned off his light walking down the stairs.
When he got to his kitchen he grabbed a bag of popcorn from the kitchen. "Can't watch a movie without popcorn." Albus mused as he walked out the door. He told his mother he'd be over Frankie's and to come over when she was ready. Albus liked the idea of their mothers having a girl night. When they arrived at Frankie's he walked in and greeted Frankie's mother as he always did. After he walked to Frankie's room looking around for a moment. Frankie's room was nice for watching movies, but he wasn't sure if Frankie wanted to stay here or go to his living room. Albus walked over and laid on his boyfriend's bed for a moment. It was Frankie's turn to get comfortable. Albus took in Frankie's scent that lingered on his bedding. "You want to watch the movie in here, or downstairs?" Albus asked, as he rolled on his side letting his eyes capture his handsome boyfriend.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
As odd as it seemed to Frankie that James was home at this hour, instead o being out with his friends or some girl, Frankie decided not to ask anything further about it. He knew that Albus and James weren't the closest of siblings, though Frankie always wondered if that would remain or change as they both got older. They didn't agree on much, so that was likely one of the reasons why they never got along. Things had a way of changing with time though, so it was very possible for it to change in the future. Frankie chuckled softly at Albus' comment on the matter and the Ravenclaw shook his head. "I never thought that would be possible, to tell you the truth, but I think it would be brilliant if that was the case," he said with a smirk.
It was dangerous being in Albus' room after such a long day, and with the door shut too. Frankie and Albus weren't exactly prudes when it came to physical relationships, and they had both enjoyed one another's company, to an extent, in that way. They had never gone all the way, but they've done plenty already, even in just the short month that they have officially been dating. There was also the night of the masquerade ball where they stayed in the student lounge all night. Frankie still blushed when he thought of that night, the night when he finally spilled his deepest secret that he's kept from his best mate. Frankie was sure it would be a night neither would forget, though hopefully repeated over time.
Albus had beckoned Frankie closer to him and the pair locked lips for one of the few times that day. After they pulled apart, Frankie told Albus that he tasted like cheeseburgers, but that he liked the taste of him. Albus seemed to like that statement because he then said that he was lucky Frankie liked cheeseburgers. "Mmm, yes," he said as he licked his lips, his brown eyes locked on Albus' blue ones. Frankie had then kissed him again and this one was much more passionate than the first one. Frankie began to feel his heart pounding beneath his ribcage as the kiss intensified, but then sucked in a deep breath when Albus pulled away. "Yeah, we should, before our mothers come looking for us," he agreed when Albus said that they should be getting going.
Frankie followed Albus out of his bedroom and down the stairs to the kitchen. "I'd say not," he said with a nod of his head when Albus told him that they couldn't forget the popcorn. Before they left the house, Albus told Ginny to come over whenever she was ready. They got to Frankie's and Albus greeted his mother like he usually did before the boys headed upstairs. Frankie had called down to his mother that Ginny would be coming over at some point, to which he heard his mother get up and head into the kitchen, probably to get some more adult drinks for them.
When they got to his room, Albus asked if he wanted to watch the movie in his room or downstairs and Frankie shrugged. "Doesn't matter, though I think we'll have to leave the door open if we stay in here, just in case our mothers come upstairs to check on us. We don't want to give them a reason to think the worst, right?" he said to Albus with a wink of his eye. He was sure Albus would agree with him, especially since both of their mothers would be under the same roof.
