I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - It had been a couple days since he returned home for Easter break. The holiday was filled with family visits, and lots of chocolate bunny eggs. Albus did love his chocolate, and he was very stingy when it came to sharing. His whole life his cousins thought it was alright to find all the chocolate eggs, but not this year. Albus had become a lot more confident, now that he had been dating Frankie for a couple weeks. The magical could weeks he couldn't get out of his mind. It was like he was high on love, and everything just felt so right. Albus only hoped his boyfriend felt the same way. Albus had been home spending time with his family for the past couple days. Of course he talked Frankie into staying up talking out the window, til his mother made him go to bed. If he could figure out technology better, he'd make him sleep on the rubbish telephone. Albus was a half blood but he was more into books, and love movies then the internet, or phones. Thus he had given Frankie a couple days of space, and he figured it was the perfect day to go out and have a little date. Albus reminisced through his scrapbook he made when in the hospital. He always found looking at the pictures would help him, no matter how sad he got at times. Albus looked at all his pictures with Frankie, at their awkward changing stages in life. A chuckle escaped his lips turning the page. After the he could feel the warm breeze sweeping through his window. It was warm out, and it had only been seven in the morning, but after he went through with his morning surprise he'd go gently wake up his lover.
Albus made his way to the shower, stepping in letting the warm water flow down his body. The boy was always the first one up in his house, so he never had to worry about missing the hot water. After washing up, and shampooing his hair he got out looking himself in the mirror. He had a little facial stubble but it was only just coming back. No need to shave right now, then he brushed his teeth and combed his hair. Albus was very OCD with his morning routine. It was always a half hour long, and if the time was messed up, he wasn't doing something right. Albus made his way back to his room and picked out his attire for the day. Swiftly he got dressed and made his way to the kitchen. The morning in the room of requirement had a lovely breakfast in bed, but it wasn't an Albus Potter made, breakfast in bed. With this, he did intend on make strawberry covered, heart shaped pancakes for his boyfriend. Along with sausage, bacon and eggs. Albus got to it, he knew Mrs. Greene would allow him in the house like normal, and he could go deliver his morning surprise. Albus mixed the pancake batter, noting the fresh paper on the table. His blue orbs read over it and he smirked. Well at least he had the date in mind, Frankie would love the city fair. It was a muggle celebration, that had scary rides and arcade games. Albus would enjoy Frankie trying to get him to go on rides that were high. Like the ferris wheel in the notebook. Albus swooned a bit at the thought of the novel. He had read it recently and rented the d.v.d. Maybe Frankie would watch it with him later, and cuddle and spoon. Albus blushed and looked down, he couldn't ask Frankie for all that. Maybe he could arrange an agreement, he'd go on the scary rides with Frankie, and Frankie to watch the notebook and spoon.
Albus started to get the food on the stove. He had a few different pans cooking at one, and he was very attentive to detail. That wouldn't be nice to bring Frankie burnt food. He started making the pancakes, and he thought of how cheesy he was being. Frankie knew he was a hopeless romantic, perhaps he could just deal with it. He accept Albus for who he was after all. Albus finished up in the kitchen adding the strawberries, to the pancakes and he put a thing of maple syrup on the side. He quickly ate himself, before headed out the door to his next door neighbors house. To no surprise Frankie's mother welcomed him, and he head upstairs to his boyfriend's room. Albus found it sweet how he had practically grew up in this room as well. He had always been close to Frankie, and the boy's family. As it was the same at the Potter house. Though now it was more depressing with his mother, still upset over his father's death. Albus wasn't over it, but he had things in life to be happy about, and he knew his father wouldn't want him to dwell and always be miserable. Albus peeked in Frankie's room, and the lump in the bed proved his mate was still fast asleep. Albus smirked, he remember waking up in the room of requirement watching Frankie sleep. He looked so peaceful, and beautiful. It made Albus think of how lucky he was to have him. Albus walked over to Frankie desk, setting the tray of breakfast on it. He knew how much Frankie loved food, and he knew he was a good chef, so he hoped his baby wasn't cranky.
Albus walked over to his bed side and pulled back the blanket crawling in bed with him. He was sure to be quiet and not startle the Ravenclaw. Albus was very sneaky when he wanted to be, but he watched Frankie snooze for a moment. The boy was laying on his belly, and he gently leaned forward placing gentle kisses in-between Frankie's bare shoulder blades. "Baby wake up, I made you breakfast in bed." Albus said softly, his tone gentle. He ran his fingers through Frankie's hair a few times waiting for a reaction. The smell of Albus' food filled the room, he was sure Frankie would greet him soon.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Frankie always enjoyed coming home, even though he loved being at Hogwarts. It was, in a way, refreshing to return home after having been gone for however long and feel completely content with the way everything was. Usually, coming home meant leaving all that Hogwarts had to offer behind until he returned, even though his best friend lived next door to him. This time, however, was completely different and Frankie was more than happy about it. He was dating Albus now, something he wasn’t sure would ever happen, and it had been one of the first things he told his parents when he came home for the Easter break. He wanted to tell them before they found out, which he was sure they would soon. It would be hard to hide it since Albus lived next door and that both boys would be much closer to one another than they ever have before.
Frankie was asleep in his bed and was more than comfortable in it. He missed his bed when he was away at Hogwarts, even though his four-poster bed at school was very comfortable. Nothing compared to his bed at home, which was laden with a down feather mattress pad on a memory foam mattress. He always felt like he was sleeping on a cloud when he was home and it was probably his most missed thing when he was at Hogwarts. He missed his parents too, but not nearly as much as he missed his bed. When he wasn’t with Albus or the other Godric’s Hollow kids doing something, Frankie was laying in his bed watching television. He was glad to have a DVD player and TV in his room and there were several nights when Albus would come through his window, despite his fear of heights, and watch with him.
He felt his bed sag slightly and Frankie shifted in his bed, though he didn’t open his eyes to see why. He could smell Albus and his lips curled into a smile as he kept his eyes closed. He felt Albus move closer to him and Frankie felt his entire body starting to heat up at their close proximity. He then felt Albus kiss in between his shoulder blades on his back and Frankie shifted again and opened his eyes. “Morning,” he said sleepily as he raised a hand to his face and started to wipe the sleep from his eyes. Frankie then took a deep breath and inhaled the aroma of the food Albus had brought up. “It smells good,” he said before moving closer to Albus and kissed him lightly. “I hope you intend to eat with me,” he said once he pulled away. He hadn’t wanted to pull away, but Frankie was sure that more kissing would lead to things they shouldn’t be doing in his bed.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - There were always good times to be had when returning home. Upon arrival, Lily couldn't wait to blab to his mother about the fact he had a boyfriend. That night was full of giggled, and he finally admitted to his mother he was dating Frankie. To his surprise his mother told him she was happy for him, and all she ever wanted was for him to be happy. Albus had never really connected to his mother, but her accepting him, made it easier to become close. He even crawled into bed with her that night, and he knew deep down she appreciated it. Albus had been Harry's son, never showing his mother affection, but they watched movies and stayed up chatting half the night about the good ol' times. It was amazing to think something simple as acceptance caused love. Another reason for Albus to look forward to coming home from school, instead of dreading the thought of summer.
Albus had crawled in bed with Frankie. After placing those gentle kisses along Frankie's back, he noted a smile. If he could wake Frankie up with a smile for the rest of his life, he would. When he got a response he smiled letting Frankie adjust to the light, and over all morning. "Morning sunshine, I missed you." Albus whispered against Frankie's lips before taking his kiss. Albus enjoyed the warm feeling, and when it ended he smiled. He knew why Frankie ended it, he didn't want to think about what could happen in Frankie's bed. Albus was sure this bed wasn't tainted, and when Frankie did do things with female, he had done them at school. Or at least that's what he thought. The look on both of their mothers' faces would have scared Albus. The boy rather let his family think he was asexual if it came down to it. Innocent, as he still was, to an extent. When Frankie spoke of the food smelling good, he smirked confidently. At the question he shrugged. "I ate some at home, but I will nit pick with you, this was your surprise." Albus stated as he got to his feet retrieving the tray of food. He brought it back to the bed and set it in front of his boyfriend, removing the top, to display the fancy romantic breakfast.
Albus looked down and blushed for a moment letting Frankie see the heart shaped hot cakes. He hoped Frankie wouldn't think he was too cheesy, but it was something he always wanted to do. Albus reached up and took a piece of bacon and placed it in his mouth, chewing the greasy pork. Albus loved his bacon, almost as much as chocolate. "So I saw the paper today, and there is a carnival down by the pier. I was thinking since it was so nice out, we could take the bus down there. Walk along the beach for a bit. Then when it hit afternoon grab lunch, then go to the fair. I mean, would you want to do something like that?" Albus asked cocking his head. It sounded like an adventure, and a fun day to him. "You like to ride on those type of rides right Frankie?" Albus asked looking down at his shorts, he hated his legs, but it proved if Albus Potter was wearing shorts, it was hot out. He didn't really want to go swimming but walking along the water would be nice. "Then after we return home...I rented The Notebook, and I can sleep over your house, or you over mine, whatever the case may be, and we can spoon!" Albus said all in one mouthful, rambling on. Albus' smile faded and he blushed. "That sounded a lot better in my head." He claimed shrugging into his shoulders lightly. He reached for the fork taking a piece of pancake shoving it into his mouth. He purred at the sweet goodness, and waited for Frankie to respond to his idea. He placed the fork back gently on the plate and let the boy eat.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
When Frankie had gone to bed the night before, he had no idea that he would be waking up to not only a sexy young man in his bed, but also the aroma of bacon and pancakes wafting through the air. If he had known he would be having company so early in the morning, he would have cleaned his room the night before. There was nothing he could do about it now though, so he just let it go and hoped that Albus wouldn’t mind. Though, now that he thought about it, it wasn’t as if Albus had never seen his room a mess before. They’ve been best friends and next door neighbors for a t least ten years now, so it wasn’t like Albus has never seen it a mess. But it was different now. They were a couple and Frankie felt like he had to keep it clean all the time.
The feel of Albus’ soft lips on his bare back caused the Ravenclaw boy to stir and open his eyes to find his handsome boyfriend lying next to him with a wide smile on his face. After a very brief greeting and morning kiss, Frankie’s nose and eyes settled on the food Albus brought and he asked his Slytherin friend of Albus was going to eat with him. He frowned slightly when Albus told him that he ate back at his own house, but Frankie was not about to argue with him first thing in the morning. It wasn’t too early in the morning, but Frankie had just woken up so an argument wasn’t what he had in mind for the moment. And he didn’t want to make a big deal out of it when Albus had gone through the trouble he did to make him breakfast in the first place. That would be rude in Frankie’s opinion and he would be upset if Albus did that to him.
Frankie’s eyes followed Albus as he moved away from the bed and picked up the tray from where he had set it down and brought it over to Frankie. Albus said he’d nick some from his plate made Frankie feel better, and he couldn’t help but blush when Albus removed the top of the plate and Frankie saw that the pancakes were shaped like hearts. “With strawberries. My favorite,” he said as he then looked at Albus as he stole a piece of bacon from the plate. “You’re the best. D’you know that?” he asked as he lifted a piece of bacon to his lips and took a bite. Frankie loved bacon and he was glad that his Slytherin lover didn’t forget it when he made the plate. He finished the bacon he had taken from the plate and then picked up the fork and began to cut into his pancake when Albus started to talk.
Albus spoke of a carnival down at the pier and that he thought the two could spend the day there since it was so nice out. “A carnival sounds like an excellent idea,” Frankie said before he stuffed the first bite of pancake into his mouth. Frankie closed his eyes as he ate the piece, savoring it as he chewed it. “Great pancakes,” he said after he swallowed the first chewed bite. “And I think that sounds like a brilliant idea; very romantic,” he said with a wink before shoveling another bite into his mouth. He knew Albus was a romantic kind of guy, as if the romance novels he read didn’t say that loud and clear, so Frankie expected that to be present in their relationship and also knew that he would have to get a bit more romantic than he was used to for his boyfriend’s sake. “You’ll ride them with me, right?” he asked in reference to the rides that would be at the carnival.
Albus had then suggested that they watch the movie The Notebook together while sleeping over in either his room or Albus’ after they got back from the carnival later. Before he could say anything about it though, Albus told him that that idea sounded so much better in his head than when he said it out loud. Frankie laughed with his mouth closed since he was chewing a bite of pancake and he didn’t want to choke on it. Albus had taken the fork and stole a bite of pancake as Frankie finished chewing the bite he was eating. “That sounds fine with me,” he said. He knew that Albus would like it and that it would make him happy. Plus, he’s watched The Notebook with his mother so he knew the sort of movie it was. Frankie actually liked the movie so he didn’t mind watching it. “I wonder if our mothers will allow sleepovers now, considering that we aren’t just best friends and neighbors anymore,” Frankie said with a wink of his eye.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus' eyes glanced around Frankie's room. His organized friend, seemed to have a little mess, but nothing too bad. Albus wasn't one to judge, he lived wit James, for god sake. Albus would sneak in there at times and clean up James' room, and find some things he wish he hadn't. The first time he found a naughty magazine he was curious, only thirteen in age. Skimming through those pages were one of his regrets. Albus was in shock, and he had to bring it to Frankie so the two could speak about it. The two boys were close enough to discuss anything, and it was still that way now, with the exceptions of speaking about exes. Albus was sure he'd get mad if Frankie spoke on one of his as well, or upset. Albus was horribly jealous, and a bit possessive. Albus didn't care what the excuse was in the world, he may even get peeved if someone hugged Frankie for too long. With the exception of Frankie's best female friend. Albus thought Brigitte hated him anyways, the two butted heads most of the time. She was pretty tough, and a bit scary in Albus' opinion. It was best to keep his mouth shut, and opinion to himself.
Albus ' aqua eyes skimmed back to the plate of food he had given Frankie. Albus had eaten at home, because he was up all morning adjusting for the day. He wrote in his journal, skimmed some old pictures, and then got ready for the day. he boy had been up since five in the morning, and didn't want to carry two plates. He wasn't self conscious about eating around Frankie. The Ravenclaw had came over his house for dinner many night, as he did the same over Frankie's house. Albus wasn't lying about eating. Albus may have had low self esteem but he didn't have any problems with eating. His appearance may have made him a little skeptical of himself, but he was far from over weight. When he agreed to nit pick, the look on Frankie's face went away, and he nibbled here and there. The heart shaped pancakes were a nice addition to saying I love you in the morning. Though Albus had never taken the chance of saying those words so soon in the relationship. He was sure Frankie could tell, he was just scared to seem clingy. Albus did love Frankie when it came down to it, he'd do anything for him, accepted him for being who he was, and understanding. The bond was strong, and when they started dating it grew stronger. Love was an action anyways, though he did call Frankie his Love and what not. It was clear he felt the emotion. And what a lovely one it was.
When Frankie stated he was the best, Albus felt his cheeks heat up and he looked down nibbling his lower lip. "I try for you. Trust me, I wouldn't be cutting my fingers for just anyone." Albus admitted softly. Frankie brought out the better side of him, there was no doubt in his mind on that matter. No, Albus didn't know he was the best and he was sure there was better, but if he spoke against it he knew he and Frankie would be having an argument about the whole thing. They tended to do that during compliments. It was silly really how they both had low self esteem when it came to certain things, but if they were special in each other's eyes, who cared what the world thought? The date was something that just sounded exciting. Spending time with Frankie, in a more lively setting felt perfect. Albus loved their little Hogwarts dates, but this was something new. When his boyfriend confirmed it was a good idea, he smiled and nodded. "I thought so." Albus said proudly, he did know a bit of excitement, though he could never venture alone. All Frankie's compliments on his food, an toward him this morning were making him a jumbled mess of emotions. Albus' cheek were red, and they hurt a bit due to smiling. Albus didn't normally show off his smile, he was normally pretty serious, or quiet but no more. It was nice coming out of that shell. At Frankie's question about riding the rides he gulped. "The carousel sounds lovely.." Albus admitted shrugging. He knew that wasn't what Frankie wanted to hear but he'd have to get used to motion. "We can start on the small ones and work our way up, yeah?" Albus asked with a forced lopsided smile.
Albus had an extreme fear of heights, when he was younger he had been climbing the tree that separated the two houses, and he had fallen down. Albus broke his arm, and the fact a muggle neighbor called the ambulance, had him wearing a cast that whole summer. Albus disliked heights very much, but Frankie could persuade him he was sure. Saying no to those pretty brown eyes, would hurt him inside. He couldn't disappoint Frankie like that. "You'll hold me the whole time, and make sure I wont fall on the high ones, right babe?" Albus asked over thinking. Perhaps he shouldn't be thinking so much and be impulsive. Albus knew when he got in that line, Frankie wasn't letting him leave it. The courage came from Frankie, because Albus himself wouldn't have it. Frankie liked heights from playing quidditch. Albus never played, and he even disliked the fact that stands were so high. Time would tell. The next order of business was the movie he had planned to snuggle to. Albus read the book, but never viewed the movie. He was more into reading anyways, but it would be nice to be held, while watching something that would make him swoon. Frankie agreeing to the game plan, caused him to grin wide. This day was perfect and it hadn't even started. When Frankie stated he wasn't sure if their mother's would allow sleep overs Albus frowned. James was hid big brother, and he expected the same rules when telling his mother about the whole dating Frankie thing. A smirk crept to his lips and he nodded. "Frankie, my mother wouldn't cross me right now, I am actually showing her affection, and you know I don't do that." Albus stated ruffling his hair. "I have already spoken to her on the matter, and it should be fine with the exception of having the door open." Albus added shrugging. James had the same rules, and they were set in stone years back when his father was still there to make them.
Albus laid back on Frankie's bed while he finished eating, he rested his hand on his stomach and looked at the ceiling. "You were right though, she didn't care about me dating a boy. She was happy regardless, as is the rest of my family. They were more happy when they found out it was you." Albus admitted looking at Frankie with a smile. His family knew Frankie wouldn't hurt him, and loved the fact he was now happy. Albus hoped Frankie's parents and family were just as thrilled. The Slytherin boy had made good impressions through his life, but he had the scars, and the ambulance showing up at all hours of the night, taking him away to the hospitals. Albus was very self conscious about being judged on those facts. They were his to fix on his own through time. At this stage in his life he didn't think about stress or negativity. He had his amazing boyfriend to thank for that, though if he had a break down Frankie would be there. All this thinking was normal for him, at least he wasn't feeling down. When Frankie was done eating he was happy to see the smiles. It had been worth it all, to make Frankie happy. "So, now you hop in the shower and get dressed so we can start our adventure." Albus said hoping he wasn't being bossy. He did have that side at times that crowned through his sweet image. Albus wasn't prefect, but he didn't have the worst quirks either.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
There was a lot one could say about a gesture such as the one that Albus had made for him. While Frankie wasn’t really a fan of being woken up before he was ready to wake up, but he wouldn’t dare get upset with Albus for waking him up like this. Food was always one really good way to subside Frankie’s anger about whatever he was angry about and he was more than sure that Albus knew that. Being woken up in such a gentle manner, and with food, was a surefire way for Frankie to not wake up swinging, as he has done a time or two in the past. He had accidentally hit his mother once, which of course he got grounded for the day regardless of whether he meant to do it or not. There was always an accident waiting to happen somewhere.
As he started to eat, Frankie felt himself waking up. He loved pancakes and the fact that Albus had put strawberries in them only made him love pancakes more. They were heart-shaped, which was a little sappy in Frankie’s opinion, but he would never think negatively about them, or Albus, because of it. It showed that Albus cared, more so than just with the idea of making him breakfast in bed, and Frankie appreciated that. Now he had to think of something to do for his boyfriend in return, something that he knew Albus would enjoy a great deal. He wouldn’t do it today though, of course, or even the next day, because he didn’t want it to be solely connected to this moment for why he did it. He’d likely do it in a few days’ time, just before they would head back to Hogwarts for the remainder of the year, and he hoped that it would surprise Albus.
Frankie told Albus that he was the best for the breakfast he’d made and Albus told him that he tried for him and that he wouldn’t cut his fingers for just anyone. “You cut yourself?” he asked with a hint of concern etched in his voice as he chewed his current bite. Frankie then found himself searching Albus’ hands for any signs of a cut or blood, but saw none. Perhaps he got his mother to heal it for him. “You don’t have to hurt yourself for me, you know. I’m not the type to be impressed by cuts, bruises and blood,” he told Albus with a smirk before he shoveled yet another bite of food into his mouth. “I’d rather you be right as rain so that I can enjoy you more,” he added with a playful wink.
Frankie smiled when Albus told him that he figured that he would like the idea of going to the carnival. Frankie loved amusement parks and things of that nature, so attending one while hoe for the Easter break was a smashing idea, and he was glad that Albus had thought of it. Frankie would have thought of it once he saw the announcement in the paper, but Albus coming up with it first meant that it would take less convincing on his part to get Albus to go. When Frankie asked if he would go on the rides with him, he didn’t hide his disappointment when Albus told him that the carousel sounded like a lovely idea. “Well, that wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, but it’s a start, I guess,” he said with a smirk before he took another bite into his mouth.
When Albus asked Frankie if he would hold him during the scarier rides, Frankie smirked and nodded his head at his friend. “No, I am going to let you scream like a little girl,” he told him with a serious face before breaking into a soft chuckle. “Of course I will, silly goose. Why wouldn’t I hold my boyfriend when he was afraid?” he asked rhetorically as he nudged Albus’ arm with his elbow. He then took the last bite of food on his plate and stuffed it into his mouth. He hoped Albus didn’t get upset with him, especially since he already made it known that he was playing around. When Frankie asked about their mothers allowing a sleepover, Frankie laughed at Albus’ response. “My mum would probably say the same thing,” he said about the open door idea. “Though I wonder what they think we get up to while we’re away at school,” he said with a wink. Frankie turned to look at Albus when he told Frankie that Ginny hadn’t been upset about the idea of Albus and Frankie dating. “I told you,” he said, though not in a rude or mean sort of way. Frankie remembered when he had that conversation with his parents and how they hadn’t seemed uncomfortable with it at all. Frankie was sure that they were a bit upset that Frankie wouldn’t end up marrying some girl and having babies with her, but that was just a small price for them to pay for their son’s happiness, which was the more important thing to worry about. Frankie smiled warmly when Albus told him that Ginny was happier to hear that it was him that Albus was dating. “My parents said the same thing,” he confirmed. Albus then told him to go shower and dress for the day and Frankie nodded. “All right. You want to go bring this stuff back over to your house while I do that? I’ll meet you over there,” he said as he started to crawl out of bed.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus was glad to be there watching Frankie eat. It brought him happiness to see the look of enjoyment on his boyfriend's face. Albus was always one to cook and clean at home, he lived with a brother whom didn't really care about how his room looked and a little sister who was the same way. Through the years Al had no choice, his OCD wouldn't let him function or me productive around messes. It wasn't much trouble at all going through making breakfast for Frankie, and when Frankie asked did he cut himself he blinked. Albus had only mean risking cutting his fingers, he hadn't actually, but focusing on making perfect hearts with his racy mind may have put him at risk. Albus watched Frankie examine his hands for a moment, he felt the urge to look away. Albus didn't like this feeling. It was similar to when he had an episode and spent too much time in the bathroom. His mother was bloody foolish to think he'd be typical and handle his mania in the bathroom. That only happened in movies he was sure. Stereotypes. When Frankie continued to speak Albus listened. He chewed the inside of his cheek absently feeling a bit insecure. He hadn't meant it in that way, but he was taking things into a different perspective due to his own guilt. Albus smirked fake, when Frankie said he rather him be right as rain."Well that's not always the case, and I didn't cut myself. I meant to say risking cutting my fingers, to be completely accurate. It isn't easy cutting prefect hearts you know." Albus stated, letting his blue eyes drift toward the window where he stared absently for a moment.
Albus let it all blow over in his mind. Of course he could take a joke but when the topic was so sensitive to him doing it weeks prior he couldn't help to get defensive. It was part of who he was believe it or not. Albus wanted to go take risks and have a bit of fun. There was nothing more annoying then sitting there glooming in something he couldn't change. Albus liked his idea of the motion horses, that would be a safe ride and Frankie, didn't seem to like it. "I don't do motion I'm not brave like you, I hate heights and anything that goes to fast. I'm sixteen and haven't even gotten my muggle driving license because I don't trust machines." Albus claimed ruffling his dark hair. It would be a step by step process. If Frankie rushed him into getting on something scary he may be shell shocked and not want to continue. "Or we can go on something crazy, a roller coaster maybe, and the puke you will be wearing after, will be your own doing. Then I will remind you why we should have warmed up on the little rides." Albus said sarcastically. If Frankie wanted to be sarcastic Albus could go right along with it. He was one of the younger males of his family, and his sarcastic side took him far when it came to sticking up for himself. A start, Albus thought just watching the rides was a bloody start. Albus thought it would be cute for Frankie to hold him, and he licked his lips and nodded with a smirk on his lips with Frankie said he'd let him scream like a little girl. "I'll be the loudest one in the bloody park." Albus added knowing it was true. Frankie should have knew that from the last times, they took a ride on the broom together.
Albus felt less tense when Frankie lightened up on him, and he sighed and shrugged. "I don't know." Albus said softly with a roll of his eyes. He was beginning to anticipate. "I'm like panicking and we are not even there yet." Albus explained, he needed to stop and get a grip of himself. If only he wasn't an asthmatic and could have a cigarette to kill his shot nerves. That reminded him he'd have to grab his inhaler, and maybe a couple bottles of water and his messenger bag. Albus liked to have everything ready when he was leaving home. He was always well prepared for life's curve balls. He'd even grab a hoodie in case it got cold. Thinking to later in the night and his sleepover he nodded when Frankie said his mother would agree. "Well it's up to you then Babe, we can go over my house and deal with James and all his friends being obnoxious or we can have a quiet night at your house. Either way, I'm just happy to be spending time with you." Albus said leaning forward kissing Frankie's nose. Albus cheeks heat up when Frankie said he wondered what their parents must think happens at school. "Well, my mother she thinks I'm innocent, and I'd like to keep it that way. I'd literally die if she had a sex talk with me. It isn't even alright to think about the awkwardness of it all. Dad never had to have one with me because, I wasn't active like James. So I rather not think about having it with my mother." Albus claimed. It was not even humorous to him thinking about having the condom conversation. Albus never seemed interested in anything but his studies but he'd be damned if that came back to bite him in the ass.
Albus' family was very pleased to know they were dating. Frankie and he had, had this conversation the day they started dating. Albus quirked an eyebrow when Frankie admitted to telling him so. "Don't get cocky." Albus told him almost scolding, he wasn't used to letting people be right in his world. Frankie knew how Albus was, and even Eva's comment about him being slightly wrong about the love letter peeved him. Albus had to be right, he didn't want to think of any reason he was wrong. Albus blinked a new times and thought he may have been rude. "I'm just not used to so many people telling me they told me so, I'm used to figuring things out on my own...I apologize, I didn't mean to be snippy." Albus said almost in a whisper, damaging his ego. It was too early for this. Albus needed to go home and take his meds, and pack for the day. He hoped the hostility, he was displaying would be left at home. Albus was happy to know Frankie's parents felt the same way, Albus just hoped he'd meet all expectations in the end. When Frankie was done eating, he tried to switch his moods around, he gathered the plates and listened to Frankie's words nodding. "We're going to have a good day, I promise." Albus said reassuringly as he got to his feet stepping into his shoes. He leaned down and kissed Frankie's lips for a moment, looking him in the eyes. "Try not to think of me too much in there." Albus mused with a wink. He ran his fingers through Frankie's hair once more and then headed home.
There he packed up, and argued with his mother on being able to take the bus. He was a grown boy, he didn't need a ride to the pier. Albus walked around checking that he had sunscreen. The freckles on his cheeks wouldn't look so good burnt. He packed some bottled water, his wallet and everything he thought he'd need. Albus messenger bag had a undetectable extension charm on it, there was probably a lot of use full things in there. Albus quickly took his mood stabilizer, and was ready to become less irritable. As he finished his rounds he walked out to the tree in the middle of their houses. Albus sat in the tire swing giving himself a little push, where he waited for Frankie to join him. When he saw Frankie he waved, noting hiding the smile on his face. "So my mum still thinks we are twelve and wants to give us a ride down there, would you rather take the bus and rebel for freedom?" Albus asked, unsure if he was making the right decision. The car ride would have been a lot faster, and they could get to their destination and have fun quicker that way. Yet taking the bus was fun, and different. "The ride would be faster." Albus stated logically, but over all he'd let Frankie pick, being in a relationship was about sharing choices, Albus was just going to have to get used to it.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“Well, that makes much more sense,” Frankie said when Albus clarified about what he said about cutting himself. Frankie wasn’t sure if Albus took his own words wrong, but the way he clarified what he meant, Frankie was sure that he had. Frankie hadn’t meant anything negative by it, but he should have realized that Albus might have taken it as such since he often did. Frankie only hoped that that got better with time because Frankie was not one to walk on eggshells for people, even if he did care about them a great deal. There was only so much he’d be able to do with that, though he would try for Albus. “Oh, I don’t doubt that at all. It isn’t easy drawing them either,” Frankie said with a smile.
At the topic of the carnival and the rides it would likely have, Frankie hadn’t been thrilled with Albus’ idea of riding the carousel. Frankie would ride it, of course, because Albus wanted to, but he hoped that Albus would branch out even just a little bit. “I know,” Frankie said softly when Albus told him that he didn’t do motion very well. “I’m not that brave, I just like the thrill of the rides the carnival has to offer,” Frankie said simply, and with a shrug. He didn’t see it as bravery so much as wanting to try new things and enjoying the rush one got from going so fast. Quidditch didn’t do that to him, since he’s enjoyed such things prior to becoming a Quidditch player. “Oh, I’d never want my driver’s license. Have you seen the way some of the loonies drive?” he asked.
Frankie had no plans of forcing Albus to do anything he didn’t want to do, even if it meant not going on some of the rides at the carnival. Frankie would still go though, and that would mean that Albus would just have to sit on a bench near the exit of the ride and wait for him, or do something else to occupy him while Frankie was enjoying one of the more thrilling rides. While he knew this day was meant for them to spend together, Frankie wasn’t going to not go on some of the rides simply because Albus didn’t want to. Frankie smiled when Albus then said that they could go on something thrilling, like a roller coaster or something, and that he’d puke all over Frankie and that would be his ‘I told you so’. “I’m not going to force you on one of the big rides right off. We can take it slow, but I’d like for you to at least make an attempt at some point today,” Frankie told him.
“There’s no need to panic,” Frankie told him. They weren’t even there yet and Albus was working himself up over nothing. “We don’t have to go if you don’t want to. I don’t want you to have a panic attack or anything,” Frankie told him with a hint of concern in his voice. When Albus had first suggested the idea of the carnival, Frankie assumed he meant that they would go on a bunch of rides, and not just the kiddie ones, and that they would have a great time together. But if Albus was already going to panic before they even left Frankie’s room, maybe it wasn’t worth going today, or at all. Frankie would rather have Albus calm and collected than frantic and falling apart at the seams. This was meant to be a good day after all.
Frankie made a face when Albus said that they would have to put up with James and his friends if they went to his house. “No thank you,” he said, trying to keep his indifference to the idea out of his voice. “As much as I enjoy your brother’s company, I’m not really a fan of the idea of spending our quality time with him and his boys,” Frankie said. “I’m sure my mum will allow us to watch it here. We will have to keep the door open, I’m sure,” Frankie said with a wink. “Though I think my mum may want to watch it with us. She likes that movie,” Frankie added with a smirk. He could easily tell his mum she couldn’t, but he knew she wouldn’t mind being allowed to watch it with them. She’d be able to watch a good movie while also keeping an eye on them without making it seem like she was.
Frankie blinked at Albus when he told him not to be cocky. Frankie didn’t understand how he was being cocky, but he chose not to say that, or ask why Albus told him not to be cocky. He knew that Albus liked to be right most of the time, but Frankie didn’t see why that meant he had to get snippy with him over it. Frankie hadn’t meant anything by his words of telling Albus he told him so. He was joking, but Albus clearly hadn’t taken it that way and it made Frankie frown slightly. Albus must have then realized how he said what he did because then he apologized for being snippy and told Frankie that he wasn’t used to being told ‘I told you so’ by people. “It’s okay,” Frankie said quietly. He just didn’t want to argue with Albus right now and he felt that that was where this was going.
Frankie kissed Albus after he stood up from his bed and then chuckled softly when Albus told him not to think of him too much while he was in the shower. “If I want it to be a quick one, I won’t,” he said with a grin. And that was the truth. Thinking about him in the shower would only prolong him getting out and dressed and then over to Albus’ so that they could go to the carnival. Albus left and Frankie got out of bed and made his way into the bathroom for a shower. After about ten minutes, he came out with a towel around his waist and began to pull clothes out to wear. Once he was dressed, Frankie bid his mother farewell and headed over to Albus’ house next door.
He found Albus outside in the tire swing and Frankie made his way over to him. “So, you ready to go? What time does the bus come?” he asked. Albus ten told him that his mother wanted to give them a ride instead of taking the bus and then asked frank is which he preferred to do. “It doesn’t really matter to me,” he said with a shrug. “You’re right, the ride will be faster, and less smelly as we both know public transportation can be,” he said with a smile. “Plus I think it will make your mum happy, so we might as well go with that,” Frankie told him.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus couldn't always help the way he got defensive. It was in his nature to do so, he took things way too serious at times, and sometimes he could catch himself before he got out of hand. Albus didn't know why he thought to much, and made himself over analyze. It wasn't good for him, especially when he wanted to have a good day with his boyfriend. Albus had took the cutting statement to heart, and deep down it was due to insecurity. He knew he had no reason to act that way around Frankie, but it happened. When Frankie stated it wasn't easy to draw hearts a smile crossed Albus' lips. "No it isn't, you have no clue how many of my notepads, have little lopsided hearts with our initials in them. It's nearly impossible to make a perfect one." Albus admitted his cheeks flushing a pink color. It was a bit embarrassing to admit those things to Frankie, but it could have been worst. Frankie could have actually viewed it for himself, and brought it up. Then Al wouldn't know what to say, he'd be very bashful. The worst was his journal that he scribbled Albus Greene all over. It was as if he hadn't felt this way even in his life, therefore he guessed he had immature quirks toward the relationship. Albus would mature over time, but he was still in the falling process, there was no need to rush.
One step at a time. When Frankie stated he wasn't brave Albus quirked an eyebrow. "You've always been my hero, brave as what I believe." Albus told him, Frankie was always there for him when things would go wrong. Being around Albus was a hazard to one at times, he didn't want Frankie to have witnessed some of the bad things he did. Yet he couldn't un-write time. Albus was sure he'd be dead, if Frankie hadn't talked him out of self destruction many nights. Frankie also was his hero in school when he couldn't stick up for himself. Loyal as they came, and forever fighting his battles. Albus knew Frankie was more brave then he could imagine, this was one trait he found attractive about the Ravenclaw boy. Albus' eyes widened when Frankie spoke of not wanting his drivers licenses. "Oh I know, it's mad." Albus told him, shaking his head slightly. Drivers were crazy, and Albus had too much anxiety to be honked at, or rushed on the road. Albus was sure he;d rather ride on a thrill ride then drive on the speed way. When Frankie asked him to attempt to ride on the rides Albus nodded. "I will go on them, it's just going to scary waiting in line...then..going high in the air...then dropping. Oh Merlin Frankie.." Albus said closing his eyes. He didn't want to think about it. He'd surely talk himself out of going. A deep breath, and he licked his lips. "I am going to try because I don't want you to go on them alone." Albus stated, he'd have to face his fears someday, that was something his father always told him.
At the topic of the movie and who was having the sleep over Albus nodded. He knew Frankie would see things his way. If it were a normal night, and had Ben not been his ex, the two may have went drank and hung out with his brother, and his friends. When Frankie said his mother would want to watch it with them Albus smirked. "Lovely, you know she'd just want to make sure we were behaving and I wasn't influencing her son to do naughty things." Albus teased. He was sure his mother would pull the same stuff. Now with Ginny being part of his life, he knew she'd want to take every moment back, from all those years he pushed her away. Albus liked Mrs. Greene, he probably showed her more affection then his own mother in his days.
When Frankie spoke of telling him so Albus told him not to be cocky. He knew how Frankie liked his credit where it was due, but Albus wasn't used to being told anything. His lack of control with his emotions and moods, made him need to have control over something. His thoughts, at least. When he stated not to be cocky he watched Frankie's reaction, and his heart sunk in his chest, realizing it was uncalled for. Albus just didn't want Frankie to become egotistical when it came to being right. After apologizing he heard Frankie's words, quiet and he moved closed and wrapped his arms around the boy's shoulder's pulling him close. "I'm so sorry." He whispered softly, trying to sooth Frankie, though he feared he messed up big time. Albus pulled away for a moment to look in Frankie's eyes trying to reassure him he was really sorry. Albus couldn't control his snippy attitude at times, this was certainly one of his Slytherin traits. Curse his seriousness. When he felt a relief he got ready to leave. He's let Frankie get ready for the day and he'd proceed to his house and pack. Albus left and his mother insisted she'd give them a ride. At first he wanted to take the bus, but getting to his destination without a crowded smelly bus sounded good. Albus was pushing himself on the tire swing when Frankie joined him. A smirk crossed his lips at how handsome his boyfriend was, all clean. Al got to his feet and walked over to Frankie taking in the scent of his cologne. He loved the way Frankie smelled, almost desirable.
When Frankie answered and said he'd just go along with the ride Albus nodded. "It will make her happy." Albus said rolling his eyes. He walked to the front door and called his mother grabbing the car keys off the rack. Albus walked over to the car and opened it, turning on the ac. He opened the back door and waited for Frankie to get in, then he got in behind him. Albus wasn't rude he hated sitting up front when he had company. He slide his hand into Frankie's as his mother got into the car. She greeted his boyfriend, and then they set off for the pier. After driving for a while they were finally there, and Albus couldn't wait to get out the car. He leaned up kissing his mother goodbye and she told him she'd meet them in the spot around eight tonight. That was perfect, even if it sounded like a curfew because it would give Frankie and Al time to watch the movie, and cuddle. Talk about things, and what not later. Albus looked over the beach and he smiled, he couldn't wait. When Frankie joined him by his side he smirked. "I want to go walk along the water, can we?" Albus asked wide eyed and excited. He looked between Frankie and the beach a few times before he shrugged it off pulling Frankie with him down to the beach. Albus took off his shoes and socks placing them down for a moment. He let his toes dig in the warm sand and smiled. This was going to be fun.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Frankie smiled when Albus agreed that drawing hearts wasn’t an easy task. He raised an eyebrow when Albus told him that he had many lopsided hearts drawn in notebooks and that it was nearly impossible to draw one perfectly. “Do any of those have my name in them?” he asked as he waggled his eyebrows slightly. Frankie always enjoyed Albus’ company, even more so when things were on a good note and both were smiling and cheerful. While he would never turn his back on Albus, he thoroughly enjoyed his friend’s company more when Albus was in a better mood than when he wasn’t. That would be true about anyone really though; Frankie was sure that anyone was better company when they were in a good mood than when they weren’t. Frankie hoped to have more good times than bad with him, and so far that has been the case.
When they talked about the more thrilling rides and Albus told Frankie that he was brave, Frankie disagreed. Perhaps they had a different idea about what bravery was, though Frankie had to admit that one had to have at least a certain level of bravery to go on such rides, especially if a witch or wizard. Then again, perhaps that wasn’t even thought of as bravery, since there were other words that could be used in that respect. One could call him a thrill seeker, or crazy, depending on who you asked, but Frankie just found himself to enjoy the rush of the wind in his hair and incredible feeling he got when he did things like that. He didn’t do anything extreme though, like bungee jumping or sky diving, but he did like to be a bit extreme when it came to carnival rides. “And I’ll always be there for you,” he told Albus with a smile.
When they started talking about Muggle transportation, Frankie was sure that it wasn’t for him. If he ever needed to go anywhere in the Muggle world, he'd take a taxi, and leave the driving to those who are more experienced. As far as magical transportation, he was a broom man all the way, though he often used Floo powder since he wasn’t able to just use his broom anytime he wanted at home. Godric’s Hollow was just as much of a Muggle village as it was a magical one and Frankie was more than aware of the consequences should he ever be seen. “Sometimes I wonder how half of these people got their privilege to drive,” Frankie said as he shook his head at the idea. “Some of them are barking mad,” he added with a snort. just one more reason why taking Muggle transportation irked him.
Frankie smiled when Albus told him that he would go on the more thrilling rides, but that they were going to be scary waits. Frankie reached a hand up to Albus’ face and gently stroked his cheek when the Slytherin closed his eyes. “Don’t scare yourself before we even get there. Then you won’t even go on the calmer rides,” Frankie said before he leaned in and placed a chaste kiss on Albus’ lips. Frankie smiled when Albus told him that he was going to try because he didn’t want Frankie going on them alone. “That’s the ticket. I’m sure you’ll be fine,” Frankie said with a firm nod of his head. At least he hoped he would be. He wouldn’t force Albus though, not if it would mean the difference between them having a good day and Albus finding himself too worked up to do anything but come back home. It wasn’t worth risking his boyfriend’s health or mental state of mind.
When the topic of the movie and what they would do after they got back from the carnival, there was one thing Frankie didn’t mention when he said that he didn’t care to spend time with James and his friends. The main truth of that was that he didn’t care to possibly run into ben while they were over at Albus’. Frankie was sure that would be awkward in many different ways and, as much as he hated to even think it, that it would probably lead to an argument or a fight. It would be awkward to say the least and Frankie would rather have a good night with Albus than one filled of tension and aggravation. “You’re probably right,” he said with a chuckle when Albus said that Frankie’s mom would only watch it to keep an eye on them. “Perhaps we should ask her to watch with us, so she doesn’t get the idea that we would do anything naughty,” Frankie said with a wink of his eye. That could be for later.
Albus had apologized again for snipping ta him and Frankie merely nodded. He had already told him that it was okay so he didn’t see the need to reiterate those same words. Frankie allowed it to brush over and soon Albus was leaving to finish getting ready for the day so that Frankie could shower and meet him at his house so they could leave. After a kiss and a few choice flirty words about a shower, the two parted ways to get ready for their day. Once Frankie was ready and over at Albus’, he was told that Ginny wanted to bring them to the carnival and Frankie told his friend that it was fine with him. It would save them time and money and Frankie was more than okay with both of those. “Then that’s clearly the option for us,” he said about the ride when Albus confirmed that it would make his mother happy. Anything to make a mother happy.
The two boys got into the car and Frankie greeted Ginny politely before she started the car and drove them to the carnival. When they arrived, Frankie thanked Ginny for the ride and nodded when she told them that she’d pick them up at eight that evening in the same spot she’d dropped them off in. Albus kissed his mother goodbye and then she drove away. Now that had a few hours to kill before they would have to head home for their movie night. Albus told Frankie that he wanted to walk along the water and Frankie nodded his head. “Sure, if that’s what you want to do first,” he said as he followed him down to the beach. The boys took off their socks and shoes and began to walk along the sandy beach. “Such a beautiful day outside,” he said as he looked out over the water, watching the waves crashing upon the sand.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - At the topic of heart shaped pancakes and drawn out hearts, Albus blushed at Frankie's words. Albus had written his name in quite a few of those, hearts and now he was suddenly put on the spot. Albus sunk into his shoulders a bit. "Perhaps." He replied simply. Al didn't know how to answer his boyfriend, without causing himself to be a mess of stutters. Frankie did make him nervous a bit, but nothing he couldn't handle once he got a grip on his mind. Today was going to be lovely, he was a bit moody, as he always was in the morning but Albus was sure he needed to enjoy the day. Therefore he'd leave his attitude at home, and set loose for the day. Frankie didn't want Albus to have a panic attack, and Albus knew he was just over thinking about the rides. He needed to have some fun, and he couldn't allow Frankie to do it alone. What kind of boyfriend would he be if he left his boyfriend alone? Albus had to be protective, he had always been in any circumstance with Frankie. Weather it be quidditch try outs in the beginning of the year, or a break up. Albus always tried to be there, pushing all his fears behind. Frankie made him was to better himself, made him want to enjoy the finer things in life.
Frankie told Albus he'd always be there for him, and it caused him to smile. "As I will always be there for you." Albus replied. Through thick and thin, Albus and Frankie always seemed to have each others backs. Even before they dated, which added to the comfortable feeling of things not changing too much. Albus smirked as Frankie spoke of the drivers, no, Albus knew half of the shouldn't be on the road. Delinquent, and careless. Al could only imagine what it would be like to see James, or Ben on the road. It would have surely been a mess. "They don't act up for their driving test, anyone can put on an act to get what they want." Albus stated. He himself was a bit manipulative at times, but he knew anyone had the skills to act like a defenseless driver. As Albus thought more of spending the night with Frankie, and watching the movie he was glad they came to the conclusion Albus would sleep over his house. Albus didn't need Ben starting anything, or bringing up the past. The boy wanted a good day, well spent time with his boyfriend, not some one that hurt him in the past. Albus refused to jeopardize his relationship, as long as Frankie was by his side, loyal, he didn't fear screwing up. Another reason he cut back on drinking, which is boyfriend may have been insecure about if he knew that reason. Albus didn't trust himself just yet, but he was working on it, so he guessed that was all that mattered. Frankie couldn't always be there, but Albus was smart and didn't need to put himself in front of temptation, or declare his venerability either. A conversation and confession for another day.
Frankie's mother would probably want to join them for the movie. Albus nodded, it didn't seem like it would harm his image for the night. It certainly would put in his Mrs. Greene's head that the two were not acting out anytime soon. Albus and Frankie both knew when they were ready for sex, it would happen. Albus planned on waiting til he knew he was in love and that was what he wanted. Albus felt the falling in love feeling, but he wanted to be sure everything was perfect before he gave up something so dear to him. Albus explained that to his mother, and everyone he ever encountered in that way. It was something that may have not mattered to most people, but his romantic side wanted it to be the way he imagined it to be. Albus wasn't prude enough to wait for marriage or anything, but when he was ready he'd take those steps. In the mean time he was in no rush. "I think your mother would like that, and I don't mind including her. You know I want to make a good impression as your boyfriend, and not just your best friend, so it may be a bonding experience." Albus stated shrugging lightly. "But she can't steal my cuddle buddy, that is where I draw the line." Albus teased, winking to Frankie. The boys could make some popcorn, or nachos and have a really good movie night. Then after they could spend some time up in Frankie's room talking. Al liked to be on a personal note with Frankie, know where his mind state was as well.
After departing from Frankie and letting him get ready, Albus decided he'd let his mother give them a ride. The whole ride there he held Frankie's hand and took in the change of scenery. When they arrived at the beach, and his mother drove off the boys walked along the sand. Albus loved the water, and warmer weather. It was so beautiful, as Frankie put it. "That it is." Albus concurred. He took their shoes and socks and put them into his charmed messenger bag. Then he took Frankie's hand and led him down to the water. Albus walked along the squishy wet sand and smirked. He liked the feeling. His eyes changed to a glassy blue color, with a hint of yellow in them, due to his surroundings. Albus dropped Frankie's hand and walked into the water a bit more. He bent down picking up a sea shell and walked over to Frankie. Al lifted it to his ear and heard the ocean, and then held it up to his boyfriend's ear. He grinned his eyes taking in the sparkle from the sun reflecting in the water. "You can hear the ocean, we should collect a couple smaller shells, I'll figure out something to so with them." If they were small enough Albus could glue them on a scrap book cover. A smile crossed his lips, as he reached into his bag taking out his camera. "Smile baby, the camera loves you." Albus directed bringing the camera to his eye, he wanted to collect some memories of his day. "Now give me your most erotic look." Albus mused with a chuckle.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Frankie didn’t say anything after Albus told him that there was a possibility of some of those hearts he’s tried to draw had Frankie’s name in them. Frankie knew that there would be, even if just by the way Albus answered that, but he didn’t want to further embarrass his boyfriend by dragging that on. Maybe he’d get a peek at some of those hearts the next time he went over to Albus’. He wasn’t sure of those hearts were in a diary or something else private, but Frankie hoped to catch a glimpse as long as it wasn’t something well hidden or that he had to go searching for. The last thing he wanted to do was go snooping about Albus’ room. If Albus wanted to show him, he would. If he didn’t want to, then he wouldn’t. It wasn’t fair of Frankie to force Albus to show him. That wasn’t the type of boyfriend he wanted to be.
As they talked about the drivers of the day and how crazy people were behind the wheel, Frankie voiced his curiosity on how half of the drivers managed to even get their license. Some of them really were barking mad, like he’d said, and it made little sense to him. Albus had then told him that it was because they acted perfectly when they took their test which was all that they really needed to do in order to pass. Frankie knew he was right too, which actually bothered him a bit. “I swear, they should get someone to shadow them for a few days, when the people don’t even know they’re there. That’ll really show them who can drive and who is off their rocker,” Frankie said. He knew it wasn’t feasible for that to occur, though it sounded good in theory. “If only it was that easy to get your apparition license,” he said, which he wouldn’t be able to do until next Christmas, after he turned seventeen.
When Frankie suggested to Albus that they invite his mother to join them for the movie, Albus agreed and told him that he was sure Frankie’s mother would like that. Frankie blushed a bit when Albus told him that he wanted to make a good impression on his mother as his boyfriend and Frankie knew that his mother would appreciate that thought and sentiment. “My mum loves you already, you know that,” Frankie told him, sure that Albus was already well aware. Though now that they were a couple, it was different than when they were just best friends. “Oh, don’t worry, she wouldn’t dare steal that,” he assured Albus when h said he she couldn’t steal Frankie from cuddling with Albus during the movie. “What about your mum? You think she’d want to watch too?” he asked, unsure of how such a movie would make her feel in light of her husband’s somewhat recent death. “That way she doesn’t feel left out because we invited my mum to join us,” he added.
Once they had parted ways so they could both get ready and then allowed Ginny to drive them towards the pier, Frankie couldn’t wait to get over to the carnival. Their first stop was the beach itself, which he didn’t mind at all, and he and Albus were getting ready to take a romantic stroll for a little while before hitting the rides and games at the carnival. Frankie slipped off his shoes and socks and handed them to Albus who put them in his charmed messenger bag. He then took Albus’ hand and the pair began to walk down the beach together. After a short distance, Albus released his hand and moved closer to the water. Frankie watched him as he bent down closer to the sand and picked up a seashell. Albus brought the shell up to Frankie’s ear and Frankie listened to the sound of the waves crashing upon the shore. “Sure, we can do that,” he agreed when Albus suggested they collect some shells.
Albus had then pulled a camera out of his bag and smirked at Frankie when he told him to smile and that the camera loved him. Frankie blushed and laughed at Albus, but he smiled and posed for the camera anyway. Frankie enjoyed spending this sort of time with Albus, or anytime really. It was playful and sweet and innocent. Okay, well, Albus asking him to give his most erotic look was far from innocent, but that didn’t bother Frankie. “I’ll try to,” he said as he then bit his lower lip and gave Albus a smoldering look. “this erotic enough for you?” he asked in a teasing tone as he looked at Albus while he waited for him to take the picture. Frankie wasn’t usually very good with these sorts of poses, and he felt a little strange doing them, but it was all in good fun and he knew that Albus loved it, so he did it.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus had gotten a bit nervous when Frankie asked him about the drawing his name in hearts. Al was just that way, and he didn't want Frankie to think he was obsessed or childish. Anything along those lines were untrue, but Albus was just happy. He hadn't felt this alive in a while, and he expressed it oddly. If Frankie wanted to see his notebooks, he'd show him. It may have been a personal thing, but would it really matter if it was just one way to express his love? Albus didn't think it was a big deal, he just got shy on the topic. Going into being more then bestfriends made it that way. Albus couldn't help that he was more shy in that aspect not, but he didn't think he displayed it too bad. The last thing he wanted to do was change from being himself, Frankie had crushed on him for so long just as he was. Albus didn't want to change too much, it wouldn't be right. He didn't speak more on the topic, but if Frankie wanted to see someday he'd show him, as he'd show him the letters he wrote while alone. Albus knew deep down Frankie mother loved him. In a sense they were like brothers at one point in life, and he was sure his mother felt the same way about Frankie. "Yeah I know, I guess I just over thinking. I want her to love the fact that I'm your boyfriend, as much as we do." Albus told Frankie. It was what he thought to be right, to show Frankie's mother he treated her son well, as a boyfriend and not just a best friend.
When Frankie spoke of inviting his mother to their movie night, he nodded. "Yeah she'd like that." Albus understood why Frankie wanted their mothers involved in the date night. Even if it had been intended only them two, they could show their mothers where were not all about sex and mischief. They'd earn a trust level, and someday be trusted to have the door closed during their sleep overs. Albus didn't really like his mother much, Frankie knew that but if it made his boyfriend happy he'd allow them to watch the movie with them. Albus wasn't that selfish, and if they accomplished trust in doing so, it was for the better. Albus had the intentions of being polite to their mothers, and just trying to feel comfortable being watched. If things got weird he'd tell Frankie he didn't like it, but it was only for a couple hours so he knew he could suck it up. The bad thing about being home meant he couldn't have much alone time with Frankie, but when they got back to school he'd act back into character. Albus was sixteen now, and his hormones had developed in that manner. It was great they the relationship wasn't pressured or revolved around intimacy. Though he didn't mind having those moments with Frankie as well. Just home, wasn't the place for it. The two had agreed on meeting after Frankie got dressed. After parting he waited in the yard for his boyfriend so they could be driven to the carnival. In the car Albus asked his mother if she wanted to join them for movie night, and without a hesitation sh agreed. Albus smirked, and soon enough they were there.
Itching for freedom he took Frankie down to the water, enjoying the feeling of sand squishing between his toes. Albus had suggested they found sea shells, for his scrap book, it could be a little project they could work on after the movie. Albus would have Lily develop the pictures while they watched the movie. Lily had her own camera and was always into photography so they had a little photo room, in their house. He joked around and took pictures of his boyfriend, and after telling Frankie to be erotic he bit his lip and snapped the picture looking at the camera. "Very sexy baby. That's for my personal stash." Albus mused with a wink. Damn was Frankie sexy when he wanted to be, he never really noticed it before, but he was very lucky to have an attractive partner. Albus moved and stood beside Frankie getting on his tippy toes and kissing Frankie cheek, he held the camera up high, and snapped a photo taking some together. Now it was time to collect some shells. Albus looked through the water and picked up a couple sea shells. He grabbed a little sandwich bag out of his pack, and placed them in there along with Frankie's findings. He was almost ready to move along with their date as he saw the rides in the distance. "You ready for the fair? We could play some games before the rides, I'll let you win me a stuffed animal, while I get used to being around such big machines and screaming people." Albus asked. It was about time to just walk the water, up to the carnival. Their day could revolve around that, and having fun, he was just happy he had some photo souvenirs from the day.

- - - - - - - - until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand - - - - - - - - NOW AND FOREVER I WILL BE YOUR MAN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
When the two had started talking about their plans for after the carnival and the movie they would watch at Frankie’s home, the Ravenclaw asked if Albus’ mom Ginny would like to watch with them. Since they were already inviting his own mom to join them, even though she’d be at the house with them when they watched it, Frankie thought it might be a good idea to ask his boyfriend’s mom as well. If not only to show her that there was nothing bad going on, but also that they could be trusted together as they have always been, before they became an official couple.
It was natural for parents to allow certain things to go on between two friends that they wouldn’t allow to happen between a romantic couple, like a sleepover with the door open. It’s when the parents don’t have a reason to suspect something is going on that there is trust, whereas they will lose some of that when there is something to raise an alarm. When Albus told Frankie that he was most likely over thinking things and that he wanted Frankie's mother to like him being Frankie's boyfriend as much as the two of them did and Frankie waved his hand in the air at Albus’ general direction.
“Oh, I am sure you have nothing to worry about there,” Frankie assured him with a genuine smile. “My mum loves you and has always told me that you make it impossible to dislike you,” Frankie added. He wasn’t trying to inflate Albus’ ego any, but Frankie was sure that there was no way his mother could hate Albus, or dislike him in any way, unless he actually hurt Frankie. Frankie was sure Albus knew that would never intentionally do anything of that sort. He and Albus have been too good of friends after all this time for this to happen.
When Albus agreed that his mother would enjoy it as well, Frankie smiled and sighed in relief, even though he hadn’t realized that he was holding his breath for his boyfriend’s response. “I hope she does,” Frankie said with a grin. “We can ask her when she picks us up then,” he suggested, though he would let Albus actually do the asking. It might seem a bit weird if he asked Ginny to join them, so he’d let Albus make that gesture. He knew that Albus and Ginny weren’t overly close, especially now that Harry was dead, and that Ginny would appreciate it more if it came from her own son than her son’s boyfriend.
Once they were out of the house and over to where the carnival was being held, the two Hogwarts students made their way down to the beach for some quality alone time to start their day together. When Albus took out his camera and asked Frankie to give him an erotic look, Frankie couldn’t help but blush at the idea. He wasn’t usually into this sort of thing, but he would oblige his boyfriend right now. There was no harm in it, especially if it was just between him and Albus. It wasn’t like Albus was going to be sharing these photos with other people. “It better stay in your personal stash,” Frankie said with a smirk in a playful tone.
Albus had moved over to him and kissed him, which Frankie accepted happily, and smiled when he heard the snap of the camera from above him. Frankie looked up to see the camera in Albus’ hand and shook his head in a playful way. He then watched as Albus went over to the water to collect a few more seashells and put them into a small plastic bag so he could save them for later. “I am indeed,” he said when Albus asked if he was ready for the fair. “If you are, that is,” he added with a wink of his eye. He knew Albus wasn’t entirely looking forward to the rides so much, but Frankie would be there for him as best as he could.
Albus mentioned the idea of Frankie playing a few games to win him a stuffed animal and Frankie laughed softly. “I can do that,” he said with a nod of his head, “but not the games with the ball in the fish bowl or the ring on the bottle neck,” Frankie told him. “I am not very good with those games,” he told Albus. He wasn’t bad at most carnival games, but those two types of games were pretty much a waste of money.

I'M A LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO FALL EASY TO BREAK with. every. move. my. whole. world. shakes - - - - - - - - - - Albus had been thrilled about being on the beach. He loved the view of the open water, and he loved the sand. The smell wasn't the greatest thing in the world, but that was because he didn't like fish. Sea breeze blew at the boys, as Albus shamelessly snapped photos of his boyfriend. At Frankie's words he licked his lips. "Oh? Well I'd admit I'd be horribly jealous if anyone else seen my sexy photo of my sexy boyfriend, but I think you already know that." Albus told Frankie knowing that would make it clear he wouldn't how anyone the picture. "But is this is the only one I get? I mean I can think of many photos, and facial expressions, and positions, with less clothing I'd like to have of you in my personal stash." Albus mused with a wink. He knew Frankie thought of him as innocent most of the time, but Albus had been displaying his change in hormones, and it effect the way he thought. Al guessed it effect the way he spoke as well, but if no one else was listening he could speak the truth right? Albus had gathered his sea shells, and he was happy to think that Frankie could make the scrap book with him later. Frankie may see those little hearts he drew after all, but he wouldn't admit to them out loud. Albus was too shy for all that. His had saw the rides in the distance and he was feeling a bit daring, he knew once he got there he'd slowly convince himself he wasn't ready but for now he wanted to get to their destination.
Listening to Frankie's words he grinned, and nodded. "For now I am ready to get there, we'll see how I feel after admission." Albus told Frankie. He was thrilled he was going to play carnival games with his boyfriend, but it was mostly for Frankie's entertainment. Albus didn't really like games, nor competitions so he just wanted to let Frankie play. He'd play a couple but in the end he just wanted a cute teddy bear to add to his collection of memories. Albus didn't get out of the water, but he walked to the shore line and walked toward the pier hand in hand with his boyfriend. This felt nice, kind of like something you'd see in a love movie. When they got close enough he took out their socks and shoes, and got himself ready. Albus could hear the screams of many children and his heart sped up. Absently he squeezed Frankie's hand and felt suddenly safe. A smile crossed his lips as and walked up to the admissions booth. "Yeah Munchkin, I'm nervous now." Albus told Frankie as looking over the prices. The tickets seemed to be what everyone else did, but why limit themselves when they could get wrist bands for the day? It seemed more logical. Albus reached into his wallet and bought them full day passes. Albus took Frankie's wrist and put the band around it, then he let Frankie do the same for him. He took at the gate looking over the attractions, and decided to take out his camera for one picture of it. Albus liked having reminders when he was doing something special.
The excitement rushed through him, as waited for Frankie to lead him in. Albus grinned wide at all the games, and the smell of Fried dough filled his nose, causing him to sigh dramatically. "I must have some of that!" Albus stated walking to the booth were he bought a fired dough, and put powder sugar on it. He offered his boyfriend some before he started to walk around, nibbling pieces of sweet, warm goodness. Albus saw the sames Frankie mentioned he didn't like too much and he noted no one was winning. Albus saw the balloon and dart game and looked at all the cool prizes. "You want to play that one, Babes?" Albus asked pointing to it. He shoved another piece if fried doe in his mouth, and offered Frankie some more before he walked over and looked at the game. He felt like a little kid in a candy store with how many attractions caught his eyes. He then looked up to see the roller coaster and then looked down slightly. He was going to get on that at some point he told himself. Albus couldn't turn down fun, but he couldn't admit he was fully prepared as well. The sound of a balloon being popped made him look up and he grinned. "You're brilliant at that Frankie." Albus told him enjoying watching Frankie focused on the game. He grinned. "You pick the perfect stuffed animal for me, I'll love him regardless and you putting thought into the decision will make it special." Albus told Frankie smiling, as his cheeks turned a bit red at the sentimental thought.
