Missy and been in her apartment, going through her clothes. This week she'd be traveling with Sar, and she couldn't have been more excited. Missy usually spent a couple days with her mother over Easter break but not this time. She used her phone to speak to her mother about her plans to Amsterdam. Nova insisted that Missy was being a foolish girl, and Sar was more then a friend. Naturally, her mother would think something of this little experience. Missy protested the thought, she didn't think it was possible. She knew Balthasar's past and she was sure this was just something for them to do, and enjoy with one another. Not a date, she felt her cheeks heat up at the thought. Missy hadn't been on a date since she seventh year at Hogwarts. Sad to say, she was rather skeptical about letting people in. This was why her and Sar seemed to get along, but he couldn't help to think she had put up walls, and he knocked them down. Missy feared letting people in, but she had a certain amount of trust for her guy friend. That smile, and the charm of that man just made it hard to keep her mind straight. She found herself tangled up in her phone cored and she giggled a bit. Perhaps she was anticipating, and having mixed emotions. Nova may have been right, she did like Sar's company he made her feel not so alone. One would often seek the company of another who understood them. Often she felt he was that person. Missy was one of the only people, let alone woman he liked to be around. She was glad for this change, glad they got to show their true colors outside of a professional environment.
After her phone call with her mother, she began to pack her things. Missy's style was different then most. She loved to be authentic, unique with her appearance. As a small girl she loved lace, and frilly dresses. Always trying to find her place, but dying to stand out. Missy was a complex girl, her emotions were normally all over the place when it came to acceptance and being a bit of a loner. But she didn't need to feel like that anymore, Missy looked around the apartment. She had packed herself a suitcase for her clothes, and nightwear. Then one for shoes, makeup, hair supplies and hygiene products. She hoped she hadn't over packed but she had a feeling she had more then she needed. Missy wondered if her clothes were a bit too revealing, and if she'd allure her Slytherin colleague. Ah, well he'd live. Missy knew for a fact their were going to be half naked women, in the windows of some of these places. Amsterdam was known for many things but she wasn't worried about it. The thought of drinking in the bars, maybe having a nice dinner with her guy friend, and then the hotel room was all she needed. She was sure Sar was going to be prepared for the perks of the country. Missy hoped the hotel had a hottub, she wouldn't mind a couple dry martinis lounging. That reminded her she needed to pack her bikini. Missy loved the warmer weather, and traveling, she felt this was a chance at something great.
Now it was time to shower, and doll up. After an hour of doing her hair and makeup, she finally got into her white dress, tossed some beaded necklaces around her neck and stepped into her six inch heels. Sar knew her enough to know, she'd come dressed up and slowly she'd find herself wondering barefoot. Missy did it at school as well, she hated being proper but she was only raised with the best intentions. Missy had hired someone to sit her dog while she was away for the week, and the house was clean. The only thing she now needed was to get to the port key. Missy had told Sar she'd meet him there, and they could travel together. She wasn't sure what they'd do first but she knew she'd want to see their hotel suite. A couple month's pay went on this trip and her new wordrobe. Money well spent, she wouldn't have an adventure like this in a while. So, she figured why not make the best of it. After locking up she said goodbye to her little apartment and made her way to her destination. The port key was somewhere secluded where no muggles could catch on. When she arrived she was thrilled to see the handsome mad had already been there waiting. A smile crossed her lips as she approached the man. Setting her bags down for a moment, she gave him a hug then broke from it. Missy bit her bottom lip a bit teasingly. "You look very handsome Balthasar. Tell me, did you pack half your belonging as I did?" She asked looking at her luggage. Smiling she looked to the port key. "I hope you did your hotel research, I don't plan on lugging these bags around all afternoon." She told him sticking up her nose at the idea. For now, she was just ready to get out of England.

There was little doubt that Balthasar Donovan was nervous about the upcoming vacation he was taking. He has taken many vacations during his lifetime, but it has been some time since he's had a travel companion, one who was, in his mind, quite beautiful and fun to be with. It hasn't been since he had lost his first love that Sar has had a companion of any kind on a trip that he was taking and he couldn't help but be nervous about it. He enjoyed Missy's company immensely, which was why he had invited her to go to Amsterdam in the first place, but was there more to it than that? He hadn't expected her to think anything more of it than what it was, but that didn't mean she didn't. And what did he think of it? He wasn't entirely sure, but he was sure that the culmination of this trip would give a better understanding of it all.
Once he was packed with his bag, Sar made his way to where the portkey he had arranged to take him and Missy to their destination. He had gotten there, Missy hadn't arrived yet so Sar waited for her. They were both aware of what time the portkey was to leave so he was sure she would be on time. And, if she was late, then he would just have to go back to the Ministry and have a new portkey scheduled for as soon as possible. It wasn't like he'd leave without her or anything. That would defeat the purpose of them going on a vacation together. He found himself swallowing a lump in his throat as he thought about the fact that he was in fact going on a vacation with someone else, with a beautiful woman, and that he was actually as excited as he was nervous for it. Sar didn't generally get along well with other people, especially women, so the fact that he got on so well with Missy was a major thing for the Transfiguration professor.
She then arrived and Sar couldn't help but look her over. She looked beautiful, but he could not recall a single time, even during their shared Hogwarts days, when she didn't. He had felt a bit overdressed at first, but seeing her now made that thought wash away. He was dressed just right for the occasion, not to mention that he intended to take her to dinner as soon as they got to Amsterdam and were settled in their hotel suite. "Nowhere near compared to you though," he said with a smile after she told him that he looked handsome. "Not that much, but I made sure to bring enough," he told her as he gestured to his solitary suitcase not too far from where he was standing. He then looked at hers and saw she had more than one, which only made her seem more like a woman than not. "I have. We're to go there first and get settled, then I was planning on taking you to dinner," he told her as he checked his watch. "Speaking of which, we should get going," he told her as he gestured towards the old tin can that was to be their portkey.
