Molly was relaxing on one of Gryffindor's red couches by the fire place, wand in her right hand, swirling around in a circular motion. Above her, Neo, her pet toad was dancing in a circle. "You should really go to that Snow Ball, Molly! It's your last year here! The brunette suddenly jumped at the voice, making her lose her concentration, Neo falling right on her face. She thought she was alone tonight, who would even bother her knowing how she likes to be alone anyway? Neo jumped off of her face and onto her stomach, sitting peacefully. Molly sat up and looked around. "Who said that? I swear to god, if it's one of you cubs, I will make you vomit every five minutes." Her threat was meaningless, after all, she didn't want to deal with a prefect or one of her goodie-to-shoe cousins if she got in trouble with a basic prank. The voice laughed, phasing through the wall, it was a female ghost, one that Molly saw often around the common room. "Oh it's just me, your friendly ghost. Now tell me why are you not at the Snow Ball? Molly huffed and rolled her eyes at the ghost, leaning back into the couch and petting Neo. "You of all people, sorry ghosts, should know I don't like those kind of things. It's too soon after Harry's-" "Now don't you blame his murder on your unhappiness. You need to get out there. It's your last year! Just because your ex-girlfriend was a dark wizard doesn't mean the next one will be!" The ghost talked with a jolly tone, which greatly annoyed the witch. At the mention of her ex, something blew in Molly that made her grab Neo and toss it at the ghost, the toad flying onto a desk. "I hope that means you're going!" A fading chuckle was heard and the Weasley girl groaned. She did need to get over her ex, but going to a social gathering, a ball no less, would only cause a riot in her head. Feeling defeated (and thinking the ghost would come back with Peeves to mess with her), Molly got off the couch, grabbed Neo and darted up to her room, almost taking a first year down. If it's a disaster, I will blast so much dubstep in the common room, she'll hate me for it. She grinned at the thought.
After a long forty-five minutes, Molly was in front of the Great Hall's entrance, wearing a beautiful dark red dress, with black heels, a gift from her mother's that she never once bother to wear. The Great Hall was transformed into a beautiful ballroom, something the brunette would have to give props to the headmaster for the design. It was truly remarkable in her eyes. Looking around the Great Hall, she noticed a few of her cousins, but not all of them. She swore she saw her oldest cousin, Victoire, but maybe it was a different blonde. Surely not that blonde. Molly took a deep breath, trying not to think about her ex. She graduated, so she is out of my life. Tonight is a time for me to get over her. Unfortunately, with no ballroom dancing experience in her past, the brunette found herself sitting at an empty table, watching the younger students have their own fun. Where is my wingman when I need him? She sighed in defeat.

Well wasn't the dress her mother picked out just ravishing, the color was a bit off to Bella's liking but she did like the design so she sighed and she decided why not. She slipped in to the peachy pink colored dress, making sure to fluff it in all the right places before she turned in it. Applying her make up was the easy part and she had already magically done her nails the previous night so she wouldn't have to bother with it now. She slipped into her heels and she glanced back at the mirror one more time, fluffing her brunette curls and she smirked, boys eat your heart out, ladies watch yourselves. She chuckled at her own thoughts before she glanced around and then left her dorm. She had seen Eli on her way down so she couldn't help but skip over and shove him, watching him fall backward and roll over the couch, lucky for her and him he had fast reflexes and she watched him bounce up unphased with a shake of his head and a slight half smirk on his lips. She blew him a kiss before she winked and rushed out of the dungeons. She had planned on going with someone but had never ended up asking so she'd just have fun and see what the night held for her, if worse came to worse she could always sweet talk Mister Lupin out of a bottle of fire whiskey from his room. She grinned and when she reached the hall, her eyes lit up dancing around the room,"Wow..." it was more of a gasp than anything. Bella waved a gentle hello to her sister and brother as she passed them chuckling at how adorable her sister looked in such an eccentric outfit. She headed toward the refreshments table for a moment but then she found herself getting caught up on the dancefloor in her journey so she wasn't going any more, instead she found herself dancing with Alec Belby, the boy had grabbed her hand before she could get much further, and well, it was a night to let life have its way and just dance with whom ever took your fancy, she couldn't complain, the boy was an ex after all and well he had grabbed her, so there was no denying him a dance. She had her back to him, swaying her hips to the music, his hands on her hips as they pulled her into him made her smirk, she was getting drunk just off of the vibe the people around her gave off. He twirled her and she soon found herself further away from him, some other girl swooping up her dance with him as she stumbled now and she couldn't stop herself when she fell into a girl and both she and the girl toppled to the floor. She cursed and she looked up a jumbled distorted mess as she bit her bottom lip and pushed herself to her feet offering her hand to the other girl,"Blimey I'm so sorreh," Bella said sincerely as she hoped the girl wouldn't snap at her for her clumsiness.

After what seemed to be hours - but really only twenty minutes - of watching the younger boys step on the girl's feet multiple time and a boy who 'accidentally' grabbed a girl's breast, earning him a slap to the face, Molly was pretty bored with the Snow Ball by now. Promising herself she would stay for a while longer, she got up from her seat and walked across the room to the refreshments table. She eyed a platter of Cauldron Cakes, indulging in one. It feels like it's been forever since I ate one of these. A quiet moan escaped from her mouth - yep, it tasted that good.
When she was done, she got herself a small cup of water and started to walk back to her seat when BAM! Molly was pushed onto the floor by a larger mass. Her cup flew from her hand and landed on the ground, spilling nearby. Once the weight was lifted from her back, Molly turned and took the offered hand, brushing her dress off, not looking at the person who did it. "No, no, I should have looked where I was... going...." The brunette's words lingered on the last syllable before her eyes averted at the girl in front of her. Though they probably never met, Molly knew who the prefects were. There in front of her was the seventh year Slytherin prefect, whose name she didn't bother knowing. "Just watch it next time," she snarled and pushed past her to get another cup of water. More than ever Molly didn't want to have to deal with any snakes today, of course one had to bump into her. She didn't care that she could possibly get yelled at for being rude to a prefect, but she cursed under her breath something about all the Slytherin girls being to hard to resist.

She was slightly taken back by the girl's mood that at first seemed genuine but then seemed to turn around into a snide tone. Bella pouted slightly as she adjusted her dress, she hadn't meant to upset anyone and now she felt terrible. She walked after the girl not able to let it go,"Are you sure yer alright? I mean I feel terrible" she said as she tried to stop the girl but wouldn't dare reach out to touch her in her attempts, afraid of being snapped at again. She couldn't help but have wondering eyes that flitted down to the girl's rear end in that red dress, the way her hips swayed, Bella swallowed and had to force herself to look away as she licked her bottom lip and found herself standing beside the girl at the refreshment table and she turned to face the girl,"Can I make it up to you somehow?"she asked, and yes though Bella was naturally quite nice, this was a bit nicer than she was used to herself being, maybe she just didn't want to make enemies tonight. She batted her eyelashes a bit,"My name's Bella, what's yer name?" she asked trying to be friendly and befriend the girl rather than automatically be marked as an enemy by the girl she bumped into strictly by accident.

Maybe if the girl wasn't a Slytherin, this small accident wouldn't have gotten Molly so worked up. Unfortunately, the girl was a Slytherin and not only did it piss the Weasley girl off, but it made her flustered and there was a need for her to escape. As she was at the refreshment table, the Slytherin girl did not give up. Molly sighed and turned around, a new cup of water in her hand. "I-It's fine. It's just water and the dress is fine." Her voice was still harsh. Tone it down, Molly. Maybe she won't be like the last Slytherin. Maybe she could actually be a friend. Now cool it.
Molly's eyes gazed up and down the Slytherin's body, her body was a nice figure - smaller than hers - but a body worth looking at. Noticing her own lack of subtley, the brunette smiled innocently at the Slytherin girl. "I have a feeling that won't be a problem in the future. The name's Molly." She offered her free hand to the girl. Not all Slytherins are bad people, Molly inquired. A healer at Hogwarts was a Slytherin and a Lestrange, so maybe the Slytherin produces some ripe apples every once in a while.
